வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 13
1 ௧ பின்பு நான் கடற்கரை மணலின்மேல் நின்றேன். அப்பொழுது கடலிலிருந்து ஒரு மிருகம் எழும்பிவருவதைப் பார்த்தேன்; அதற்கு ஏழு தலைகளும் பத்துக்கொம்புகளும் இருந்தன; அதின் கொம்புகளின்மேல் பத்து கிரீடங்களும், அதின் தலைகளின்மேல் தேவனை அவமதிக்கும் பெயர்களும் இருந்தன.
And I stood on the sea sand. And I saw a beast rise out of the sea, hauing seuen heads, and ten hornes, and vpon his hornes were ten crownes, and vpon his heads the name of blasphemie.
2 ௨ நான் கண்ட மிருகம் சிறுத்தையைப்போல இருந்தது; அதின் கால்கள் கரடியின் கால்களைப்போலவும், அதின் வாய் சிங்கத்தின் வாயைப்போலவும் இருந்தன; இராட்சசப் பாம்பானது தன் பலத்தையும் தன் சிங்காசனத்தையும் மிகுந்த அதிகாரத்தையும் அதற்குக் கொடுத்தது.
And the beast which I sawe, was like a Leopard, and his feete like a beares, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gaue him his power and his throne, and great authoritie.
3 ௩ அதின் தலைகளில் ஒன்றில் மரணத்திற்குரிய காயமடைந்திருப்பதைப் பார்த்தேன்; ஆனாலும் மரணத்திற்குரிய அந்தக் காயம் குணமாக்கப்பட்டது. பூமியிலுள்ள எல்லோரும் ஆச்சரியத்தோடு அந்த மிருகத்தைப் பின்பற்றி,
And I sawe one of his heads as it were wounded to death, but his deadly wound was healed, and all the world wondred and folowed the beast.
4 ௪ அந்த மிருகத்திற்கு அப்படிப்பட்ட அதிகாரம் கொடுத்த இராட்சசப் பாம்பை வணங்கினார்கள். அல்லாமலும்: மிருகத்திற்கு நிகரானவன் யார்? அதோடு யுத்தம் செய்பவன் யார்? என்று சொல்லி, மிருகத்தையும் வணங்கினார்கள்.
And they worshipped the dragon which gaue power vnto the beast, and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like vnto the beast! who is able to warre with him!
5 ௫ பெருமையானவைகளையும் அவதூறான வார்த்தைகளையும் பேசும் வாய் அதற்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது; மேலும், நாற்பத்திரண்டு மாதங்கள் யுத்தம்பண்ண அதற்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
And there was giuen vnto him a mouth, that spake great things and blasphemies, and power was giuen vnto him, to doe two and fourtie moneths.
6 ௬ அது தேவனை அவமதிப்பதற்காகத் தன் வாயைத் திறந்து, அவருடைய நாமத்தையும், அவருடைய இருப்பிடத்தையும், பரலோகத்தில் வசிக்கிறவர்களையும் அவமதித்து.
And he opened his mouth vnto blasphemie against God, to blaspheme his Name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heauen.
7 ௭ மேலும், பரிசுத்தவான்களோடு யுத்தம்செய்து அவர்களை ஜெயிக்கும்படி அதற்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது, ஒவ்வொரு கோத்திரம், மொழி, தேசம் மற்றும் மக்களின்மேலும் அதற்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
And it was giuen vnto him to make warre with the Saints, and to ouercome them, and power was giuen him ouer euery kinred, and tongue, and nation.
8 ௮ உலகம் உண்டானதுமுதல் அடிக்கப்பட்ட ஆட்டுக்குட்டியினுடைய ஜீவபுத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்படாத பூமியில் வசிக்கின்ற மக்கள் எல்லோரும் அதை வணங்குவார்கள்.
Therefore all that dwell vpon the earth, shall worship him, whose names are not written in the booke of life of that Lambe, which was slaine from the beginning of the world.
If any man haue an eare, let him heare.
10 ௧0 சிறைப்படுத்திக்கொண்டு போகிறவன் சிறைப்பட்டுப்போவான்; பட்டயத்தினாலே கொல்லுகிறவன் பட்டயத்தினாலே கொல்லப்படவேண்டும். பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய பொறுமையும் விசுவாசமும் இதிலே வெளிப்படும்.
If any leade into captiuitie, hee shall go into captiuitie: if any kill with a sword, he must be killed by a sword: here is the patience and the faith of the Saints.
11 ௧௧ பின்பு, வேறொரு மிருகம் பூமியிலிருந்து எழும்புவதைப் பார்த்தேன்; அது ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைப்போல இரண்டு கொம்புகளை உடையதாக இருந்து, இராட்சசப் பாம்பைப்போலப் பேசினது.
And I beheld another beast comming vp out of the earth, which had two hornes like the Lambe, but he spake like the dragon.
12 ௧௨ அது முந்தின மிருகத்தின் அதிகாரம் முழுவதையும் அதின் முன்பாக நடத்திக்காட்டி, மரணத்திற்குரிய காயத்திலிருந்தும் குணமடைந்த முந்தின மிருகத்தைப் பூமியும் அதில் வாழும் மக்களையும் வணங்கும்படிச் செய்தது.
And he did all that the first beast could doe before him, and he caused the earth, and them which dwell therein, to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 ௧௩ அன்றியும், அது மனிதர்களுக்கு முன்பாக வானத்திலிருந்து பூமியின்மேல் அக்கினியை இறங்கப்பண்ணும்விதமாகப் பெரிய அற்புதங்களை நடத்திக்காட்டி,
And he did great wonders, so that hee made fire to come downe from heauen on the earth, in the sight of men,
14 ௧௪ மிருகத்தின் முன்பாக அந்த அற்புதங்களைச் செய்யும்படி தனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட அடையாளங்களினாலே பூமியின் மக்களை ஏமாற்றி, வாளினாலே காயப்பட்டுப் பிழைத்த மிருகத்திற்கு ஒரு உருவம் உண்டாக்கவேண்டும் என்று பூமியின் மக்களுக்குச் சொன்னது.
And deceiued them that dwell on the earth by the signes, which were permitted to him to doe in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make the image of the beast, which had the wound of a sword, and did liue.
15 ௧௫ மேலும் அந்த மிருகத்தின் உருவம் பேசத்தக்கதாகவும், மிருகத்தின் உருவத்தை வணங்காத எல்லோரையும் கொலைசெய்வதற்காகவும், மிருகத்தின் உருவத்திற்கு சுவாசத்தைக் கொடுக்கும்படி அதற்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
And it was permitted to him to giue a spirit vnto the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast should speake, and should cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast, should be killed.
16 ௧௬ அது சிறியவர்கள், பெரியவர்கள், செல்வந்தர்கள், ஏழைகள், சுதந்திரமானவர்கள், அடிமைகள், இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் தங்கள் தங்கள் வலது கைகளிலோ அல்லது நெற்றிகளிலோ ஒரு முத்திரையைப் பெறும்படிக்கும்,
And he made all, both small and great, rich and poore, free and bond, to receiue a marke in their right hand or in their foreheads,
17 ௧௭ அந்த மிருகத்தின் முத்திரையையோ, பெயரையோ, அந்த பெயரின் எண்ணையோ அணிந்துகொள்ளுகிறவனைத்தவிர வேறொருவனும் வாங்கவும் விற்கவும் முடியாதபடிக்கும் செய்தது.
And that no man might buy or sell, saue hee that had the marke, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 ௧௮ இதைப் புரிந்துகொள்ள ஞானம் தேவை; அந்த மிருகத்தின் எண்ணைப் புத்தியுடையவன் கணக்குப் பார்க்கவேண்டும்; அது மனிதனுடைய எண்ணாக இருக்கிறது; அதினுடைய எண் அறுநூற்று அறுபத்தி ஆறு 666.
Here is wisdome. Let him that hath wit, count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man, and his number is sixe hundreth threescore and sixe.
