சங்கீதம் 96

1 ௧ யெகோவாவுக்குப் புதுப்பாட்டைப் பாடுங்கள்; பூமியின் குடிகளே, எல்லோரும் யெகோவாவைப் பாடுங்கள்.

Sing to the Lord a new song, sing to the Lord, all the earth.

2 ௨ யெகோவாவைப் பாடி, அவருடைய பெயருக்கு நன்றி சொல்லி, நாளுக்குநாள் அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பைச் சுவிசேஷமாக அறிவியுங்கள்.

Sing to the Lord, bless his name, from day to day herald his victory.

3 ௩ தேசங்களுக்குள் அவருடைய மகிமையையும், எல்லா மக்களுக்குள்ளும் அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையும் விவரித்துச் சொல்லுங்கள்.

Tell his glory among the nations, his wonders among all peoples.

4 ௪ யெகோவா பெரியவரும், மிகவும் துதிக்கப்படத்தக்கவருமாக இருக்கிறார்; எல்லா தெய்வங்களிலும் பயப்படத்தக்கவர் அவரே.

For great is the Lord and worthy all praise; held in awe, above all gods:

5 ௫ எல்லா மக்களுடைய தெய்வங்களும் விக்கிரகங்கள்தானே; யெகோவாவோவானங்களை உண்டாக்கினவர்.

for all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord created the heavens.

6 ௬ மகிமையும், மேன்மையும் அவர் சமுகத்தில் இருக்கிறது, வல்லமையும் மகத்துவமும் அவர் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலுள்ளது.

Before him are splendor and majesty, beauty and strength in his holy place.

7 ௭ மக்களின் வம்சங்களே, யெகோவாவுக்கு மகிமையையும் வல்லமையையும் செலுத்துங்கள், கர்த்தருக்கே அதைச் செலுத்துங்கள்.

Ascribe to the Lord, you tribes of the nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.

8 ௮ யெகோவாவுக்கு அவருடைய பெயருக்குரிய மகிமையைச் செலுத்தி, காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவந்து, அவருடைய முற்றங்களில் நுழையுங்கள்.

Ascribe to the Lord the glory he manifests: bring you an offering, enter his courts.

9 ௯ பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்துடனே யெகோவாவை தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள்; பூமியில் உள்ளவர்களே, நீங்கள் அனைவரும் அவருக்கு முன்பாக நடுங்குங்கள்.

Bow to the Lord in holy array: tremble before him, all the earth.

10 ௧0 யெகோவா ராஜரிகம்செய்கிறார், ஆகையால் உலகம் அசையாதபடி உறுதிப்பட்டிருக்கும். அவர் மக்களை நிதானமாக நியாயந்தீர்ப்பார் என்று தேசங்களுக்குள்ளே சொல்லுங்கள்.

Say to the nations, “The Lord is king.” The world stands firm to be shaken no more. He will judge the peoples with equity.

11 ௧௧ வானங்கள் மகிழ்ந்து, பூமி பூரிப்பாகி, கடலும் அதின் நிறைவும் முழங்குவதாக.

Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice, let the sea and its fulness thunder.

12 ௧௨ நாடும் அதிலுள்ள அனைத்தும் மகிழ்வதாக; அப்பொழுது யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக காட்டுமரங்களெல்லாம் கெம்பீரிக்கும்.

Let the field, and all that is in it, exult; let the trees of the forest ring out their joy

13 ௧௩ அவர் வருகிறார், அவர் பூமியை நியாயந்தீர்க்க வருகிறார்; அவர் உலகத்தை நீதியோடும், மக்களைச் சத்தியத்தோடும் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பார்.

before the Lord: for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice and the nations with faithfulness.
