சங்கீதம் 88

1 ௧ கோராகின் குடும்பம் இராகத் தலைவனுக்கு அளித்த துதிப் பாடல். இது வேதனை தரும் ஒரு நோயைப் பற்றியது. இது எஸ்ராகியனாகிய ஏமானின் மஸ்கீல் என்னும் ஒரு பாடல். என்னுடைய இரட்சிப்பின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, இரவும் பகலும் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்.

“A song or psalm of the sons of Korach, to the chief musician upon Machalath-le'annoth, a Maskil of Heman the Ezrachite.” O Lord the God of my salvation, by day do I cry, [and] at night I am before thee.

2 ௨ என் விண்ணப்பம் உமது சமுகத்தில் வருவதாக; என்னுடைய கூப்பிடுதலுக்கு உமது செவியைச் சாய்த்தருளும்.

Let my prayer come unto thy presence; incline thy ear unto my entreaty.

3 ௩ என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா துக்கத்தால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; என்னுடைய உயிர் பாதாளத்திற்கு அருகில் வந்திருக்கிறது. (Sheol h7585)

For my soul is sated with troubles; and my life draweth nigh unto the nether world. (Sheol h7585)

4 ௪ நான் குழியில் இறங்குகிறவர்களோடு நினைக்கப்பட்டு, பெலனற்ற மனிதனைப்போல ஆனேன்.

I am counted with those that descend into the pit; I am become as a man without vigor:

5 ௫ மரித்தவர்களில் ஒருவனைப்போல் தள்ளப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன்; நீர் இனி ஒருபோதும் நினையாதபடி, உமது கையால் அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோய்க் கல்லறைகளிலே கிடக்கிறவர்களைப்போலானேன்.

Free among the dead, like the slain that dwell in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more; and those that are cut off by thy hand.

6 ௬ என்னைப் பாதாளக்குழியிலும் இருளிலும் ஆழங்களிலும் வைத்தீர்.

Thou hast laid me in the pit of the lower world, in darkness, in the depths.

7 ௭ உம்முடைய கோபம் என்னை அமிழ்த்துகிறது; உம்முடைய அலைகள் எல்லாவற்றினாலும் என்னை வருத்தப்படுத்துகிறீர். (சேலா)

Upon me lieth heavily thy fury, and with all thy billows hast thou afflicted me. (Selah)

8 ௮ எனக்கு அறிமுகமானவர்களை எனக்குத் தூரமாக விலக்கி, அவர்களுக்கு என்னை அருவருப்பாக்கினீர்; நான் வெளியேற முடியாதபடி அடைபட்டிருக்கிறேன்.

Thou hast removed my acquaintances far from me; thou hast rendered me an abomination unto them: I am imprisoned, and I cannot go forth.

9 ௯ துக்கத்தினால் என்னுடைய கண் தொய்ந்துபோனது; யெகோவாவே, அநுதினமும் நான் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு, உமக்கு நேராக என்னுடைய கைகளை விரிக்கிறேன்.

My eye languisheth by reason of affliction: I call on thee, O Lord, every day, I stretch out unto thee my hands.

10 ௧0 இறந்தவர்களுக்கு அதிசயங்களைச் செய்வீரோ? செத்துப்போன வீரர்கள் எழுந்து உம்மைத் துதிப்பார்களோ? (சேலா)

Wilt thou display wonders to the dead? shall the departed arise [and] thank thee? (Selah)

11 ௧௧ கல்லறைக்குழியில் உமது கிருபையும், அழிவில் உமது உண்மையும் விவரிக்கப்படுமோ?

Shall thy kindness be related in the grave? thy faithfulness in the place of corruption?

12 ௧௨ இருளில் உமது அதிசயங்களும், மறதியின் பூமியில் உமது நீதியும் அறியப்படுமோ?

Shall thy wonders be acknowledged in the darkness? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

13 ௧௩ நானோ யெகோவாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; காலையிலே என்னுடைய விண்ணப்பம் உமக்கு முன்பாக வரும்.

Yet I cry indeed aloud unto thee, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer come before thee.

14 ௧௪ யெகோவாவே, ஏன் என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவைத் தள்ளிவிடுகிறீர்? ஏன் உமது முகத்தை எனக்கு மறைக்கிறீர்?

Why, O Lord, wilt thou cast off my soul? [why] wilt thou hide thy face from me?

15 ௧௫ சிறுவயதுமுதல் நான் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவனும் இறந்துபோகிறவனுமாக இருக்கிறேன்; உம்மால் வரும் திகில்கள் என்மேல் சுமந்திருக்கிறது, நான் மனங்கலங்குகிறேன்.

I am afflicted and perishing from my youth up: I bear thy terrors, I am distracted.

16 ௧௬ உம்முடைய எரிச்சல்கள் என்மேல் புரண்டுபோகிறது; உம்முடைய பயங்கரங்கள் என்னை அழிக்கிறது.

Over me have the fires of thy wrath passed; thy terrors have destroyed me;

17 ௧௭ அவைகள் நாள்தோறும் தண்ணீரைப்போல் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்து, ஒன்றாக என்னை வளைந்துகொள்ளுகிறது.

They encompass me like water all the time; they have closed in round about me together.

18 ௧௮ நண்பனையும் தோழனையும் எனக்குத் தூரமாக விலக்கினீர்; எனக்கு அறிமுகமானவர்கள் மறைந்து போனார்கள்.

Thou hast removed far from me lover and friend, my acquaintances [are in] darkness.
