சங்கீதம் 87

1 ௧ கோராகின் மகன்களுடைய பாடல். அவர் அஸ்திபாரம் பரிசுத்த மலைகளில் இருக்கிறது.

A Psalme or song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God layde his foundations among the holy mountaines.

2 ௨ யெகோவா யாக்கோபின் தங்குமிடங்கள் எல்லாவற்றைவிட சீயோனின் வாசல்களில் பிரியமாக இருக்கிறார்.

The Lord loueth the gates of Zion aboue all the habitations of Iaakob.

3 ௩ தேவனுடைய நகரமே! உன்னைக் குறித்து மகிமையான விசேஷங்கள் பேசப்படும். (சேலா)

Glorious things are spoken of thee, O citie of God. (Selah)

4 ௪ என்னை அறிந்தவர்களுக்குள்ளே ராகாபையும் பாபிலோனையும் குறித்துப் பேசுவேன்; இதோ, பெலிஸ்தியர்களிலும், தீரியர்களிலும், எத்தியோப்பியர்களிலுங்கூட, இன்னான் அங்கே பிறந்தான் என்றும்;

I will make mention of Rahab and Babel among them that knowe me: beholde Palestina and Tyrus with Ethiopia, There is he borne.

5 ௫ சீயோனைக் குறித்து, இன்னான் இன்னான் அதிலே பிறந்தானென்றும் சொல்லப்படும்; உன்னதமான தேவன் தாமே அதை உறுதிப்படுத்துவார்.

And of Zion it shall be sayde, Many are borne in her: and he, euen the most High shall stablish her.

6 ௬ யெகோவா மக்களைப் பெயரெழுதும்போது, இன்னான் அதிலே பிறந்தான் என்று அவர்களைக் கணக்கெடுப்பார். (சேலா)

The Lord shall count, when hee writeth the people, He was borne there. (Selah)

7 ௭ எங்களுடைய ஊற்றுகளெல்லாம் உன்னில் இருக்கிறது என்று பாடுவாரும் ஆடுவாரும் ஒன்றாக சொல்லுவார்கள்.

Aswell the singers as the players on instruments shall prayse thee: all my springs are in thee.
