சங்கீதம் 80

1 ௧ எடூத் என்னும் வாத்தியத்தில் வாசிக்க இராகத்தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட ஆசாபின் பாடல். இஸ்ரவேலின் மேய்ப்பரே, யோசேப்பை ஆட்டுமந்தையைப்போல் நடத்துகிறவரே, செவிகொடும்; கேருபீன்கள் மத்தியில் தங்குகிறவரே, பிரகாசியும்.

Hear us, Ro'i [Shepherd Provider] of Israel [God prevails], you who lead Joseph [May he add] like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.

2 ௨ எப்பிராயீம் பென்யமீன் மனாசே என்பவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக, நீர் உமது வல்லமையை எழுப்பி, எங்களைக் காப்பாற்ற வந்தருளும்.

Before Ephraim [Fruit] and Benjamin [Son of right hand, Son of south] and Manasseh [Causing to forget], stir up your might! Come to bring yishu'ah ·salvation· for us!

3 ௩ தேவனே, எங்களைத் திருப்பிக் கொண்டுவாரும், உமது முகத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கச்செய்யும், அப்பொழுது இரட்சிக்கப்படுவோம்.

Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.

4 ௪ சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, உமது மக்களின் விண்ணப்பத்திற்கு விரோதமாக நீர் எதுவரைக்கும் கோபங்கொள்வீர்.

Adonai Elohei Tzva'ot [Yahweh God Commander of heaven’s armies], How long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?

5 ௫ கண்ணீராகிய அப்பத்தை அவர்களுக்கு உணவாகவும், மிகுதியான கண்ணீரையே அவர்களுக்குப் பானமாகவும் கொடுத்தீர்.

You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.

6 ௬ எங்களுடைய அயலாருக்கு எங்களை வழக்காக வைக்கிறீர்; எங்களுடைய எதிரிகள் எங்களைக் கேலிசெய்கிறார்கள்.

You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies laugh among themselves.

7 ௭ சேனைகளின் தேவனே, எங்களைத் திருப்பிக்கொண்டுவாரும், உமது முகத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கச்செய்யும், அப்பொழுது இரட்சிக்கப்படுவோம்.

Turn us again, Elohim Tzva'ot [God Commander of heaven’s armies]. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.

8 ௮ நீர் எகிப்திலிருந்து ஒரு திராட்சைக்கொடியைக் கொண்டுவந்து, தேசங்களைத் துரத்திவிட்டு, அதை நாட்டினீர்.

You brought a vine out of Egypt [Abode of slavery]. You divorced and drove out the nations, and planted it.

9 ௯ அதற்கு இடத்தை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினீர்; அது வேரூன்றி, தேசமெங்கும் படர்ந்தது.

You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.

10 ௧0 அதின் நிழலால் மலைகளும் அதின் கிளைகளால் உயர்ந்து வளர்ந்த கேதுருக்களும் மூடப்பட்டது.

The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God’s cedars.

11 ௧௧ அது தன்னுடைய கொடிகளைக் மத்திய தரைக் கடல்வரைக்கும், தன்னுடைய கிளைகளை ஆறுவரைக்கும் படரவிட்டது.

It sent out its branches to the sea, Its shoots to the River.

12 ௧௨ இப்பொழுதோ வழிநடக்கிற அனைவரும் அதைப் பறிக்கும்படியாக, அதின் அடைப்புகளை ஏன் தகர்த்துப்போட்டீர்?

Why have you broken down its walls, so that all those who pass by the way pluck it?

13 ௧௩ காட்டுப்பன்றி அதை உழுதுபோடுகிறது, வெளியின் மிருகங்கள் அதை மேய்ந்துபோடுகிறது.

The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.

14 ௧௪ சேனைகளின் தேவனே, திரும்பி வாரும், வானத்திலிருந்து கண்ணோக்கிப்பார்த்து, இந்தத் திராட்சைச்செடியை விசாரித்தருளும்;

Turn again, we beg you, Elohim Tzva'ot [God Commander of heaven’s armies]. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,

15 ௧௫ உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் ஊன்றிய கொடியையும், உமக்கு நீர் திடப்படுத்தின கிளையையும் பாதுகாத்தருளும்.

the stock which your right hand planted, the branch that you made strong for yourself.

16 ௧௬ அது நெருப்பால் சுடப்பட்டும் வெட்டப்பட்டும் போனது; உம்முடைய முகத்தின் பயமுறுத்தலால் அழிந்துபோகிறார்கள்.

It’s burned with fire. It’s cut down. They perish at your rebuke.

17 ௧௭ உமது கரம் உமது வலதுபக்கத்து மனிதன்மீதிலும், உமக்கு நீர் திடப்படுத்தின மனிதகுமாரன் மீதிலும் இருப்பதாக.

Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.

18 ௧௮ அப்பொழுது உம்மைவிட்டுப் பின்வாங்கமாட்டோம்; எங்களை உயிர்ப்பியும், அப்பொழுது உமது பெயரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவோம்.

So we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.

19 ௧௯ சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, எங்களைத் திருப்பிக்கொண்டு வாரும்; உமது முகத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கச்செய்யும், அப்பொழுது இரட்சிக்கப்படுவோம்.

Turn us again, Adonai Elohei Tzva'ot [Yahweh God Commander of heaven’s armies]. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
