சங்கீதம் 70
1 ௧ நினைப்பூட்டுதலாகப் பாடி இராகத்தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் பாடல். தேவனே, என்னை விடுவியும், யெகோவாவே, எனக்கு உதவிசெய்ய விரைந்துவாரும்.
Unto the end, a psalm for David, to bring to remembrance that the Lord saved him. O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me.
2 ௨ என்னுடைய உயிரை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறவர்கள் வெட்கி குழப்பம் அடைவார்களாக; எனக்குத் தீங்குவரும்படி விரும்புகிறவர்கள் பின்னிட்டுத் திரும்பி வெட்கம் அடைவார்களாக.
Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek my soul:
Let them be turned backward, and blush for shame that desire evils to me: Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me: Tis well, tis well.
4 ௪ உம்மைத் தேடுகிற அனைவரும் உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்து சந்தோஷப்படுவார்களாக; உமது இரட்சிப்பில் பிரியப்படுகிறவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு மகிமையுண்டாவதாக என்று எப்பொழுதும் சொல்வார்களாக.
Let all that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say always: The Lord be magnified.
5 ௫ நானோ எளிமையும், தேவையுள்ளவனுமாக இருக்கிறேன்; தேவனே, என்னிடத்தில் விரைவாக வாரும்: நீரே என்னுடைய துணையும் என்னை விடுவிக்கிறவருமானவர், யெகோவாவே, தாமதிக்காமலிரும்.
But I am needy and poor; O God, help me. Thou art my helper and my deliverer: O Lord, make no delay.
