சங்கீதம் 63
1 ௧ யூதாவின் பாலைவனத்தில் இருந்தபோது தாவீது பாடிய பாடல். தேவனே, நீர் என் தேவன்; அதிகாலமே உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; வறண்டதும் சோர்வுற்றதும் தண்ணீரற்றதுமான நிலத்திலே என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா உம்மேல் தாகமாக இருக்கிறது, என்னுடைய உடலானது உம்மை வாஞ்சிக்கிறது.
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Idumea. O God, my God, I cry to you early; my soul has thirsted for you: how often has my flesh [longed] after you, in a barren and trackless and dry land!
2 ௨ இப்படியே பரிசுத்த இடத்தில் உம்மைப்பார்க்க ஆசையாக இருந்து, உமது வல்லமையையும் உமது மகிமையையும் கண்டேன்.
Thus have I appeared before you in the sanctuary, that I might see your power and your glory.
For your mercy is better than life: my lips shall praise you.
Thus will I bless you during my life: I will lift up my hands in your name.
5 ௫ நிணத்தையும் கொழுப்பையும் உண்டதுபோல என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா திருப்தியாகும்; என்னுடைய வாய் ஆனந்த சந்தோஷமுள்ள உதடுகளால் உம்மைப் போற்றும்.
Let my soul be filled as with marrow and fatness; and [my] joyful lips shall praise your name.
Forasmuch as I have remembered you on my bed: in the early seasons I have meditated on you.
For you have been my helper, and in the shelter of your wings will I rejoice.
My soul has kept very close behind you: your right hand has upheld me.
But they vainly sought after my soul; they shall go into the lowest parts o the earth.
They shall be delivered up to the power of the sword; they shall be portions for foxes.
11 ௧௧ ராஜாவோ தேவனில் சந்தோஷப்படுவார்; தேவன் பேரில் சத்தியம்செய்கிறவர்கள் அனைவரும் மேன்மைபாராட்டுவார்கள்; பொய் பேசுகிறவர்களின் வாய் அடைக்கப்படும்.
But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that swears by him shall be praised; for the mouth of them that speak unjust things has been stopped.
