சங்கீதம் 59
1 ௧ இசைத்தலைவனுக்கு தாவீது அளித்த மிக்தாம் என்னும் ஒரு பாடல். தாவீதைக் கொல்வதற்காக சவுல் தாவீதின் வீட்டைக் கண்காணிப்பதற்காக ஆட்களை அனுப்பியபோது பாடியது. என் தேவனே, என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; என்மேல் எழும்புகிறவர்களுக்கு என்னை விலக்கி உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வையும்.
Deliver me from my enemies, my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me.
2 ௨ அக்கிரமக்காரர்களுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவித்து, இரத்தப்பிரியர்களான மனிதர்களுக்கு என்னை விலக்கிக் காப்பாற்றும்.
Deliver me from the workers of vain striving of iniquity. Save me from the bloodthirsty men.
3 ௩ இதோ, என்னுடைய உயிருக்காக மறைந்திருக்கிறார்கள்; யெகோவாவே, என்னிடத்தில் மீறுதலும் பாவமும் இல்லாமலிருந்தும், பலவான்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாகக் கூட்டங்கூடுகிறார்கள்.
For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, not for my rebellious breach of relationship, nor for my habitual sin ·missing the mark·, Adonai.
4 ௪ என்னிடத்தில் அக்கிரமம் இல்லாமலிருந்தும், ஓடித்திரிந்து போருக்கு ஆயத்தமாகிறார்கள்; எனக்குத் துணைசெய்ய விழித்து என்னை நோக்கிப்பாரும்.
I have done no depravities (moral evils), yet they are ready to attack me. Rise up, behold, and help me!
5 ௫ சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனே, நீர் எல்லா தேசங்களையும் தண்டிக்க விழித்தெழும்பும்; வஞ்சகமாகத் துரோகஞ்செய்கிற ஒருவருக்கும் தயை செய்யாமலிரும். (சேலா)
You, Adonai Elohei Tzva'ot [Yahweh God Commander of heaven’s armies], the God of Israel [God prevails], rouse yourself to punish the nations. Show no mercy to the vain striving of iniquity traitors. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
They teshuvah ·completely return· at evening, howling like dogs, and prowl around the city.
7 ௭ இதோ, தங்களுடைய வார்த்தைகளைக் கக்குகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் உதடுகளில் வாள்கள் இருக்கிறது, கேட்கிறவன் யார் என்கிறார்கள்.
Behold, they spew with their mouth. Swords are in their lips, “For,” they say, “who sh'ma ·hears obeys· us?”
But you, Adonai, laugh at them. You scoff at all the nations.
Oh, my Strength, I watch for you, for God is my high tower.
10 ௧0 என் தேவன் தம்முடைய கிருபையினால் என்னைச் சந்திப்பார்; தேவன் என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு வரும் நீதிசரிக்கட்டுதலை நான் காணும்படி செய்வார்.
My God will go before me with his chesed ·loving-kindness·. God will let me look at my enemies in triumph.
11 ௧௧ அவர்களைக் கொன்றுபோடாமலிரும், என்னுடைய மக்கள் மறந்துபோவார்களே; எங்களுடைய கேடகமாகிய ஆண்டவரே, உமது வல்லமையினால் அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்து, அவர்களைத் தாழ்த்திப்போடும்.
Don’t kill them, or my people may forget. Scatter them by your power, and bring them down, Lord our shield.
12 ௧௨ அவர்களுடைய உதடுகளின் பேச்சு அவர்கள் வாயின் பாவமாக இருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் இட்ட சாபமும் சொல்லிய பொய்யும் ஆகிய இவைகளினால் தங்களுடைய பெருமையில் அகப்படுவார்களாக.
For the habitual sin ·missing the mark· of their mouth, and the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride, for the curses and lies which they utter.
13 ௧௩ தேவன் பூமியின் எல்லைவரைக்கும் யாக்கோபிலே அரசாளுகிறவர் என்று அவர்கள் அறியும்படி, அவர்களை உம்முடைய கடுங்கோபத்திலே அழித்துப்போடும்; இனி இல்லாதபடிக்கு அவர்களை அழித்துப்போடும். (சேலா)
Consume them in wrath. Consume them, and they will be no more. Let them know that God rules in Jacob [Supplanter], to the ends of the earth. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
At evening let them teshuvah ·completely return·. Let them howl like a dog, and go around the city.
They shall wander up and down for food, and wait all night if they are not satisfied.
16 ௧௬ நானோ உம்முடைய வல்லமையைப் பாடி, காலையிலே உம்முடைய கிருபையை மகிழ்ச்சியோடு புகழுவேன்; எனக்கு நெருக்கமுண்டான நாளிலே நீர் எனக்குத் தஞ்சமும் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமுமானீர்.
But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your chesed ·loving-kindness· in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.
17 ௧௭ என்னுடைய பெலனே, உம்மை பாடிப் புகழுவேன்; தேவன் எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமும், கிருபையுள்ள என் தேவனுமாக இருக்கிறார்.
To you, my strength, I will sing zahmar ·musical praise·. For God is my high tower, the God of my chesed ·loving-kindness·.
