சங்கீதம் 34
1 ௧ தாவீதின் வேஷத்தைக் கண்டு அபிமெலேக்கு அவனைத் துரத்தியபோது தாவீது பாடிய பாடல். யெகோவாவுக்கு நான் எப்போதும் நன்றி செலுத்துவேன்; அவர் துதி எப்போதும் என்னுடைய வாயில் இருக்கும்.
[A Psalm] of David; when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless Jehovah at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in Jehovah: the meek shall hear, and rejoice.
Magnify Jehovah with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 ௪ நான் யெகோவாவை தேடினேன், அவர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, என்னுடைய எல்லாப் பயத்திற்கும் என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிட்டார்.
I sought Jehovah, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
They looked unto him, and were enlightened, and their faces were not confounded.
6 ௬ இந்த ஏழை கூப்பிட்டான், யெகோவா கேட்டு, அவனை அவன் பிரச்சனைகளுக்கெல்லாம் நீங்கலாக்கி காப்பாற்றினார்.
This afflicted one called, and Jehovah heard [him], and saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Taste and see that Jehovah is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him!
Fear Jehovah, ye his saints; for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 ௧0 சிங்கக்குட்டிகள் தாழ்ச்சியடைந்து பட்டினியாக இருக்கும்; யெகோவாவை தேடுகிறவர்களுக்கோ ஒரு நன்மையும் குறையாது.
The young lions are in need and suffer hunger; but they that seek Jehovah shall not want any good.
Come, ye sons, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.
What man is he that desireth life, [and] loveth days, that he may see good?
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile;
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 ௧௫ யெகோவாவுடைய கண்கள் நீதிமான்கள்மேல் நோக்கமாக இருக்கிறது; அவருடைய காதுகள் அவர்கள் கூப்பிடுதலுக்குத் திறந்திருக்கிறது.
The eyes of Jehovah are upon the righteous, and his ears are toward their cry;
16 ௧௬ தீமைசெய்கிறவர்களுடைய பெயரைப் பூமியில் இல்லாமல் போகச்செய்ய, யெகோவாவுடைய முகம் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக இருக்கிறது.
The face of Jehovah is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth:
17 ௧௭ நீதிமான்கள் கூப்பிடும்போது யெகோவா கேட்டு, அவர்களை அவர்களுடைய எல்லா உபத்திரவங்களுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுகிறார்.
[The righteous] cry, and Jehovah heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 ௧௮ உடைந்த இருதயமுள்ளவர்களுக்குக் யெகோவா அருகில் இருந்து, நொறுக்கப்பட்ட ஆவியுள்ளவர்களை காப்பாற்றுகிறார்.
Jehovah is nigh to those that are of a broken heart, and saveth them that are of a contrite spirit.
19 ௧௯ நீதிமானுக்கு வரும் துன்பங்கள் அநேகமாக இருக்கும், யெகோவா அவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் இருந்து அவனை விடுவிப்பார்.
Many are the adversities of the righteous, but Jehovah delivereth him out of them all:
He keepeth all his bones; not one of them is broken.
Evil shall destroy the wicked; and they that hate the righteous shall bear their guilt.
22 ௨௨ யெகோவா தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர்களின் ஆத்துமாவை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறார்; அவரை நம்புகிற ஒருவன்மேலும் குற்றஞ்சுமராது.
Jehovah redeemeth the soul of his servants; and none of them that trust in him shall bear guilt.
