சங்கீதம் 28

1 ௧ தாவீதின் பாடல். என் கன்மலையாகிய யெகோவாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; நீர் கேட்காதவர்போல மவுனமாக இருக்கவேண்டாம்; நீர் மவுனமாக இருந்தால் நான் கல்லறையில் இறங்குகிறவர்களுக்கு ஒப்பாவேன்.

[A Psalm] of David. Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, [if] thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

2 ௨ நான் உம்மை நோக்கிச் சத்தமிட்டு, உம்முடைய மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்கு நேராகக் கையெடுக்கும்போது, என்னுடைய விண்ணப்பங்களின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டருளும்.

Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

3 ௩ அருகில் உள்ளவனுக்குச் சமாதான வாழ்த்துதலைச் சொல்லியும், தங்களுடைய இருதயங்களில் தீமைகளை வைத்திருக்கிற துன்மார்க்கர்களோடும் அக்கிரமக்காரர்களோடும் என்னை வாரிக்கொள்ளாமலிரும்.

Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief [is] in their hearts.

4 ௪ அவர்களுடைய செயல்களுக்கும் அவர்களுடைய நடத்தைகளின் தீங்கிற்கும் சரியானதாக அவர்களுக்குச் செய்யும்; அவர்கள் கைகளின் செய்கைக்கு சரியானதாக அவர்களுக்குக் கொடும், அவர்களுக்குச் சரிக்குச் சரிக்கட்டும்.

Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

5 ௫ அவர்கள் யெகோவாவுடைய செய்கைகளையும் அவர் கைகளின் செயல்களையும் உணராதபடியால், அவர்களை இடித்துப்போடுவார், அவர்களைக் கட்டமாட்டார்.

Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

6 ௬ யெகோவாவுக்கு வாழ்த்துதல் உண்டாகட்டும்; அவர் என்னுடைய விண்ணப்பங்களின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்.

Blessed [be] the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

7 ௭ யெகோவா என் பெலனும் என் கேடகமுமாக இருக்கிறார்; என் இருதயம் அவரை நம்பி இருந்தது; நான் உதவி பெற்றேன்; ஆகையால் என்னுடைய இருதயம் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறது; என் பாடலினால் அவரைத் துதிப்பேன்.

The LORD [is] my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

8 ௮ யெகோவா அவர்களுடைய பெலன்; அவரே தாம் அபிஷேகம் செய்தவனுக்கு பாதுகாப்பான அடைக்கலமானவர்.

The LORD [is] their strength, and he [is] the saving strength of his anointed.

9 ௯ தேவனே நீர் உமது மக்களைப் பாதுகாத்து, உமது உரிமை சொத்தை ஆசீர்வதியும்; அவர்களுக்கு உணவளித்து, அவர்களை என்றென்றைக்கும் உயர்த்தியருளும்.

Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
