சங்கீதம் 142

1 ௧ குகையிலிருந்த போது தாவீதின் பாடல், ஜெபம். யெகோவாவை நோக்கிச் சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; யெகோவாவை நோக்கிச் சத்தமிட்டுக் கெஞ்சுகிறேன்.

A Psalme of David, to give instruction, and a prayer, when he was in the cave. I cryed vnto the Lord with my voyce: with my voyce I prayed vnto the Lord.

2 ௨ அவருக்கு முன்பாக என்னுடைய சஞ்சலத்தை ஊற்றுகிறேன்; அவருக்கு முன்பாக என்னுடைய நெருக்கத்தை அறிக்கையிடுகிறேன்.

I powred out my meditation before him, and declared mine affliction in his presence.

3 ௩ என்னுடைய ஆவி என்னில் தியங்கும்போது, நீர் என்னுடைய பாதையை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; நான் நடக்கிற வழியில் மறைவாக எனக்குக் கண்ணிவைத்தார்கள்.

Though my spirit was in perplexitie in me, yet thou knewest my path: in the way wherein I walked, haue they priuily layde a snare for me.

4 ௪ வலதுபக்கமாகக் கண்ணோக்கிப் பாரும், என்னை அறிவார் ஒருவரும் இல்லை; எனக்கு அடைக்கலமில்லாமற் போனது; என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை விசாரிப்பார் ஒருவரும் இல்லை.

I looked vpon my right hand, and beheld, but there was none that would knowe me: all refuge failed me, and none cared for my soule.

5 ௫ யெகோவாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; நீரே என் அடைக்கலமும், உயிருள்ளோர் தேசத்திலே என்னுடைய பங்குமாக இருக்கிறீர் என்றேன்.

Then cryed I vnto thee, O Lord, and sayde, thou art mine hope, and my portion in the land of the liuing.

6 ௬ என்னுடைய கூக்குரலுக்குச் செவிகொடும், நான் மிகவும் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டேன்; என்னைப் பின்தொடருகிறவர்களுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும், அவர்கள் என்னிலும் பலவான்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

Hearken vnto my crye, for I am brought very lowe: deliuer me from my persecuters, for they are too strong for me.

7 ௭ உமது பெயரை நான் துதிக்கும்படி, என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவைக் காவலுக்கு நீங்கலாக்கிவிடும்; எனக்கு நீர் தயவு செய்யும்போது நீதிமான்கள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொள்ளுவார்கள்.

Bring my soule out of prison, that I may prayse thy Name: then shall the righteous come about me, when thou art beneficiall vnto me.
