சங்கீதம் 138
1 ௧ தாவீதின் பாடல். உம்மை என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் துதிப்பேன்; தெய்வங்களுக்கு முன்பாக உம்மைப் புகழ்ந்து பாடுவேன்.
Of David himself. O Lord, I will confess to you with my whole heart, for you have heard the words of my mouth. I will sing psalms to you in the sight of the Angels.
2 ௨ உமது பரிசுத்த ஆலயத்திற்கு நேராக நான் பணிந்து, உமது கிருபையினிமித்தமும் உமது உண்மையினிமித்தமும் உமது பெயரைத் துதிப்பேன்; உமது எல்லாப் புகழைவிட உமது வார்த்தையை நீர் மகிமைப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறீர்.
I will adore before your holy temple, and I will confess your name: it is above your mercy and your truth. For you have magnified your holy name above all.
3 ௩ நான் கூப்பிட்ட நாளிலே எனக்கு மறுஉத்திரவு அருளினீர்; என் ஆத்துமாவிலே பெலன்தந்து என்னைத் தைரியப்படுத்தினீர்;
On whatever day that I will call upon you: hear me. You will multiply virtue in my soul.
4 ௪ யெகோவாவே, பூமியின் ராஜாக்களெல்லோரும் உமது வாயின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கும்போது உம்மைத் துதிப்பார்கள்.
May all the kings of the earth confess to you, O Lord. For they have heard all the words of your mouth.
And let them sing in accordance with the ways of the Lord. For great is the glory of the Lord.
6 ௬ யெகோவா உயர்ந்தவராக இருந்தும், தாழ்மையுள்ளவனை நோக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார்; மேட்டிமையானவனையோ தூரத்திலிருந்து அறிகிறார்.
For the Lord is exalted, and he looks with favor on the humble. But the lofty he knows from a distance.
7 ௭ நான் துன்பத்தின் நடுவில் நடந்தாலும் நீர் என்னை உயிர்ப்பிப்பீர்; என்னுடைய எதிரிகளின் கோபத்திற்கு விரோதமாக உமது கையை நீட்டுவீர்; உமது வலதுகரம் என்னை இரட்சிக்கும்.
If I wander into the midst of tribulation, you will revive me. For you extended your hand against the wrath of my enemies. And your right hand has accomplished my salvation.
8 ௮ யெகோவா எனக்காக யாவையும் செய்து முடிப்பார்; யெகோவாவே, உமது கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது; உமது கரத்தின் செயல்களைத் தள்ளிவிடாமலிரும்.
The Lord will provide retribution on my behalf. O Lord, your mercy is forever. Do not disdain the works of your hands.
