சங்கீதம் 128

1 ௧ ஆரோகண பாடல். யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து, அவர் வழிகளில் நடக்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவன் பாக்கியவான்.

A Song of Ascents. Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways.

2 ௨ உன்னுடைய கைகளின் உழைப்பை நீ சாப்பிடுவாய்; உனக்குப் பாக்கியமும் நன்மையும் உண்டாயிருக்கும்.

For you will eat the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you.

3 ௩ உன்னுடைய மனைவி உன் வீட்டோரங்களில் கனிதரும் திராட்சைக்கொடியைப்போல் இருப்பாள்; உன்னுடைய பிள்ளைகள் உன்னுடைய பந்தியைச் சுற்றிலும் ஒலிவமரக் கன்றுகளைப்போல் இருப்பார்கள்.

Your wife will be as a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house, your children like olive shoots around your table.

4 ௪ இதோ, யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயப்படுகிற மனிதன் இவ்விதமாக ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுவான்.

Behold, this is how the man who fears the LORD is blessed.

5 ௫ யெகோவா சீயோனிலிருந்து உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்; நீ உயிருள்ள நாட்களெல்லாம் எருசலேமின் வாழ்வைக் காண்பாய்.

May the LORD bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

6 ௬ நீ உன்னுடைய பிள்ளைகளின் பிள்ளைகளையும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு உண்டாகும் சமாதானத்தையும் காண்பாய்.

Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel.
