சங்கீதம் 112

1 ௧ அல்லேலூயா, யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து, அவருடைய கட்டளைகளில் மிகவும் பிரியமாயிருக்கிற மனிதன் பாக்கியவான்.

Praise ye the LORD. Blessed [is] the man [that] feareth the LORD, [that] delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 ௨ அவன் சந்ததிகள் பூமியில் பலத்திருக்கும், செம்மையானவர்களின் வம்சம் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும்.

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 ௩ செழிப்பும் செல்வமும் அவனுடைய வீட்டிலிருக்கும்; அவனுடைய நீதி என்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்.

Wealth and riches [shall be] in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 ௪ செம்மையானவர்களுக்கு இருளிலே வெளிச்சம் உதிக்கும்; அவன் இரக்கமும் மனவுருக்கமும் நீதியுமுள்ளவன்.

To the upright there ariseth light in darkness: [he is] gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5 ௫ இரங்கிக் கடன்கொடுத்து, தன்னுடைய காரியங்களை நியாயமானபடி நடத்துகிற மனிதன் பாக்கியவான்.

A good man showeth favor, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 ௬ அவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் அசைக்கப்படாதிருப்பான்; நீதிமான் என்றென்றும் புகழுள்ளவன்.

Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 ௭ துர்ச்செய்தியைக் கேட்கிறதினால் பயப்படமாட்டான்; அவனுடைய இருதயம் யெகோவாவை நம்பித் திடனாயிருக்கும்.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

8 ௮ அவனுடைய இருதயம் உறுதியாயிருக்கும்; அவன் தன்னுடைய எதிரிகளில் சரிக்கட்டுதலைக் காணும்வரை பயப்படாமலிருப்பான்.

His heart [is] established, he shall not be afraid, until he seeth [his desire] upon his enemies.

9 ௯ வாரியிறைத்தான், ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுத்தான், அவனுடைய நீதி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்; அவன் கொம்பு மகிமையாக உயர்த்தப்படும்.

He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honor.

10 ௧0 துன்மார்க்கன் அதைக் கண்டு மனச்சோர்வாகி, தன்னுடைய பற்களைக் கடித்துக் கரைந்துபோவான்; துன்மார்க்கர்களுடைய ஆசை அழியும்.

The wicked shall see [it], and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
