சங்கீதம் 107
O GIVE thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
3 ௩ கிழக்கிலும் மேற்கிலும் வடக்கிலும் தெற்கிலுமுள்ள பல தேசங்களிலுமிருந்து சேர்க்கப்பட்டவர்கள், அப்படிச் சொல்வார்களாக.
And gathered them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.
They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way; they found no city of habitation.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 ௬ தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள், அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளிலிருந்து அவர்களை மீட்டெடுத்தார்.
Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
He led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 ௯ அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் அவரைத் துதிப்பார்களாக.
For he satisfieth the longing soul, and the hungry soul he filleth with good.
10 ௧0 தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கலகம்செய்து, உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய ஆலோசனையை அசட்டைசெய்தவர்கள்,
Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11 ௧௧ காரிருளிலும் மரண இருளிலும் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்து, ஒடுக்கத்திலும் இரும்பிலும் கட்டப்பட்டு கிடந்தார்கள்.
Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the Most High:
12 ௧௨ அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்தை அவர் வருத்தத்தால் தாழ்த்தினார்; உதவிசெய்ய ஒருவரும் இல்லாமல் விழுந்து போனார்கள்.
Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
13 ௧௩ தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளிலிருந்து அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கிக் காப்பாற்றினார்.
Then they cried unto the LORD hi their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
16 ௧௬ அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் அவரைத் துதிப்பார்களாக.
For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
17 ௧௭ புத்தியீனரும் தங்களுடைய கலக வழிகளாலும் தங்களுடைய அக்கிரமங்களாலும் நோய்கொண்டு ஒடுங்கிப்போகிறார்கள்.
Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18 ௧௮ அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா எல்லா உணவையும் வெறுக்கிறது, அவர்கள் மரணவாசல்கள் வரையிலும் நெருங்குகிறார்கள்.
Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
19 ௧௯ தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளுக்கு அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கிக் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்.
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
He sendeth his word, and healeth them, and delivereth [them] from their destructions.
21 ௨௧ அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் துதித்து,
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with singing.
They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
26 ௨௬ அவர்கள் வானத்தில் ஏறி, ஆழங்களில் இறங்குகிறார்கள், அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா துன்பத்தினால் கரைந்துபோகிறது.
They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul melteth away because of trouble.
They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
28 ௨௮ அப்பொழுது தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறார்கள், அவர்களுடைய இக்கட்டுகளுக்கு அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கி விடுவிக்கிறார்.
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30 ௩0 அமைதி உண்டானதிற்காக அவர்கள் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறார்கள்; தாங்கள் விரும்பிய துறைமுகத்தில் அவர்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து சேர்க்கிறார்.
Then are they glad because they be quiet: so he bringeth them unto the haven where they would be.
31 ௩௧ அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் துதித்து,
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.
He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and watersprings into a thirsty ground;
A fruitful land into a salt desert, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
He turneth a wilderness into a pool of water, and a dry land into watersprings.
And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city of habitation;
37 ௩௭ வயல்களை உண்டாக்கி விதைத்து, திராட்சைத்தோட்டங்களை நாட்டுகிறார்கள், அவைகள் வரத்துள்ள பலனைத் தரும்.
And sow fields, and plant vineyards, and get them fruits of increase.
38 ௩௮ அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார், மிகுதியும் பெருகுகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்கள் குறையாமலிருக்கச்செய்கிறார்.
He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and he suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
Again, they are minished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.
40 ௪0 அவர் எதிரிகளின் தலைவர்கள்மேல் இகழ்ச்சிவரச்செய்து, வழியில்லாத வனாந்திர வெளியிலே அவர்களைத் திரியச்செய்து,
He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the waste, where there is no way.
41 ௪௧ எளியவனையோ சிறுமையிலிருந்து எடுத்து, உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வைத்து, அவனுடைய வம்சங்களை மந்தையைப்போலாக்குகிறார்.
Yet setteth he the needy on high from affliction, and maketh [him] families like a flock.
The upright shall see it, and be glad; and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
43 ௪௩ எவன் ஞானமுள்ளவனோ அவன் இவைகளைக் கவனிக்கட்டும்; ஞானவான்கள் யெகோவாவுடைய கிருபைகளை உணர்ந்துகொள்வார்கள்.
Whoso is wise shall give heed to these things, and they shall consider the mercies of the LORD.
