எண்ணாகமம் 27
1 ௧ யோசேப்பின் மகனாகிய மனாசேயின் குடும்பங்களில், மனாசேயின் மகனாகிய மாகீரின் மகனான கிலெயாத்திற்குப் பிறந்த எப்பேருக்குப் மகனாயிருந்த செலொப்பியாத்தின் மகள்களாகிய மக்லாள், நோவாள், ஒக்லாள், மில்காள், திர்சாள் என்பவர்கள் வந்து,
And daughters of Zelophehad son of Hepher, son of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh son of Joseph, draw near—and these [are] the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah—
2 ௨ ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் வாசலிலே மோசேக்கும், ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாருக்கும், பிரபுக்களுக்கும், சபையனைத்திற்கும் முன்பாக நின்று:
and stand before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes, and all the congregation, at the opening of the Tent of Meeting, saying,
3 ௩ “எங்களுடைய தகப்பன் வனாந்திரத்தில் மரணமடைந்தார்; அவர் யெகோவாவுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கூடின கோராகின் கூட்டத்தாரில் சேர்ந்தவர் அல்ல, தம்முடைய பாவத்தினாலே இறந்தார்; அவருக்கு மகன்கள் இல்லை.
“Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the midst of the congregation who were gathered together against YHWH in the congregation of Korah, but he died for his own sin, and had no sons;
4 ௪ எங்களுடைய தகப்பனுக்கு மகன் இல்லாததினாலே, அவருடைய பெயர் அவருடைய வம்சத்தில் இல்லாமல் அற்றுப்போகலாமா? எங்கள் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரருக்குள்ளே எங்களுக்குக் சொந்த நிலம் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்” என்றார்கள்.
why is the name of our father withdrawn from the midst of his family because he has no son? Give a possession to us in the midst of the brothers of our father”;
and Moses brings their cause near before YHWH.
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
7 ௭ “செலொப்பியாத்தின் மகள்கள் சொல்லுகிறது சரிதான்; அவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரர்களுக்குள்ளே சொத்து கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; அவர்கள் தகப்பன் பின்வைத்த சொத்தை அவர்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும்படி செய்.
“The daughters of Zelophehad are speaking correctly; you certainly give to them a possession of an inheritance in the midst of their father’s brothers, and have caused the inheritance of their father to pass over to them.
8 ௮ மேலும் நீ இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை நோக்கி: ஒருவன் மகன் இல்லாமல் இறந்தால், அவனுக்குரிய சுதந்தரத்தை அவன் மகளுக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.
And you speak to the sons of Israel, saying, When a man dies and has no son, then you have caused his inheritance to pass over to his daughter;
9 ௯ அவனுக்குக் மகளும் இல்லாமல் இருந்தால், அவனுக்குரிய சுதந்தரத்தை அவன் சகோதரர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.
and if he has no daughter, then you have given his inheritance to his brothers;
10 ௧0 அவனுக்குச் சகோதரர்களும் இல்லாமல் இருந்தால், அவனுக்குரிய சுதந்தரத்தை அவன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.
and if he has no brothers, then you have given his inheritance to his father’s brothers;
11 ௧௧ அவன் தகப்பனுக்குச் சகோதரர்கள் இல்லாமல் இருந்தால், அவனுக்குரிய சுதந்தரத்தை அவன் வம்சத்திலே அவனுக்குக் நெருங்கிய உறவின் முறையானுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுக்க வேண்டும்; இது, யெகோவா மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடி, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு நியாயவிதிப்பிரமாணமாக இருப்பதாக என்று சொல்” என்றார்.
and if his father has no brothers, then you have given his inheritance to his relation who is near to him of his family, and he has possessed it”; and it has been to the sons of Israel for a statute of judgment, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
12 ௧௨ பின்பு யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி: “நீ இந்த அபாரீம் மலையில் ஏறி, நான் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தைப் பார்.
And YHWH says to Moses, “Go up to this Mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the sons of Israel;
13 ௧௩ நீ அதைப் பார்த்தபின்பு, உன்னுடைய சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் சேர்க்கப்பட்டது போல, நீயும் உன்னுடைய மக்களிடத்தில் சேர்க்கப்படுவாய்;
and you have seen it, and you have been gathered to your people, also you, as your brother Aaron has been gathered,
14 ௧௪ சபையார் வாக்குவாதம்செய்த சீன் வனாந்திரத்தில் தண்ணீரின் காரியத்தில் அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக என்னைப் பரிசுத்தம்செய்யவேண்டிய நீங்கள் என்னுடைய கட்டளையை மீறினீர்களே என்றார். இது சீன் வனாந்திரத்தில் காதேஸ் ஊர் அருகே உண்டான மேரிபாவின் தண்ணீரின் காரியமே.
because you provoked My mouth in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the congregation—to sanctify Me at the waters before their eyes”; they [are] the waters of Meribah, in Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin.
And Moses speaks to YHWH, saying,
“YHWH, God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,
17 ௧௭ அந்தச் சபைக்கு முன்பாகப் போக்கும் வரத்துமாக இருக்கும்படி, அவர்களைப் போகவும் வரவும் செய்யும்படி, மனிதர்களான எல்லோருடைய ஆவிகளுக்கும் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா ஒரு வாலிபனை அவர்கள்மேல் அதிகாரியாக ஏற்படுத்தவேண்டும் என்றான்.
who goes out before them, and who comes in before them, and who takes them out, and who brings them in, and the congregation of YHWH is not as sheep which have no shepherd.”
18 ௧௮ யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி: “ஆவியைப் பெற்றிருக்கிற வாலிபனாகிய யோசுவா என்னும் நூனின் மகனை நீ தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அவன்மேல் உன்னுடைய கையை வைத்து,
And YHWH says to Moses, “Take Joshua son of Nun to yourself, a man in whom [is] the Spirit, and you have laid your hand on him,
19 ௧௯ அவனை ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாருக்கும் சபையனைத்திற்கும் முன்பாக நிறுத்தி, அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவனுக்குக் கட்டளைகொடுத்து,
and have caused him to stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation, and have charged him before their eyes,
20 ௨0 இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களாகிய சபையார் எல்லோரும் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்படி, உன்னுடைய அதிகாரத்தில் கொஞ்சம் அவனுக்குக் கொடு.
and have put of your splendor on him, so that all the congregation of the sons of Israel listens.
21 ௨௧ அவனுடைய ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாருக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கவேண்டும்; அவனுக்காக அந்த ஆசாரியன் யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் வந்து, ஊரீம் என்னும் நியாயத்தினாலே ஆலோசனை கேட்கவேண்டும்; அவருடைய கட்டளையின்படியே, அவனும் அவனோடுகூட இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களாகிய சபையார் எல்லோரும் போகவும் அவருடைய கட்டளையின்படியே வரவும் வேண்டியது” என்றார்.
And he stands before Eleazar the priest, and he has inquired before YHWH for him by the judgment of the Lights; at his word they go out, and at his word they come in, he and all the sons of Israel with him—even all the congregation.”
22 ௨௨ மோசே தனக்குக் யெகோவா கட்டளையிட்டபடி யோசுவாவை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அவனை ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாருக்கும் சபையனைத்திற்கும் முன்பாக நிறுத்தி,
And Moses does as YHWH has commanded him, and takes Joshua and causes him to stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation,
and lays his hands on him and charges him, as YHWH has spoken by the hand of Moses.
