< எண்ணாகமம் 13 >

1 ௧ யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 ௨ “நான் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் கானான்தேசத்தைச் சுற்றிப்பார்ப்பதற்கு நீ மனிதர்களை அனுப்பு; ஒவ்வொரு பிதாக்களின் கோத்திரத்திலும் ஒவ்வொரு பிரபுவாகிய மனிதனை அனுப்பவேண்டும் என்றார்.
Send for yourself men so they may spy out [the] land of Canaan which I [am] about to give to [the] people of Israel a man one a man one for [the] tribe of ancestors his you will send every [one] a leader among them.
3 ௩ மோசே யெகோவாவுடைய வாக்கின்படியே அவர்களைப் பாரான் வனாந்திரத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பினான்; அந்த மனிதர்கள் யாவரும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் தலைவர்கள்.
And he sent them Moses from [the] wilderness of Paran on [the] mouth of Yahweh all of them [were] men [who were] [the] heads of [the] people of Israel they.
4 ௪ அவர்களுடைய பெயர்கள்: ரூபன் கோத்திரத்தில் சக்கூரின் மகன் சம்முவா.
And these [are] names their for [the] tribe of Reuben Shammua [the] son of Zaccur.
5 ௫ சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்தில் ஓரியின் மகன் சாப்பாத்.
For [the] tribe of Simeon Shaphat [the] son of Hori.
6 ௬ யூதா கோத்திரத்தில் எப்புன்னேயின் மகன் காலேப்.
For [the] tribe of Judah Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh.
7 ௭ இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தில் யோசேப்பின் மகன் ஈகால்.
For [the] tribe of Issachar Igal [the] son of Joseph.
8 ௮ எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்தில் நூனின் மகன் ஓசேயா.
For [the] tribe of Ephraim Hoshea [the] son of Nun.
9 ௯ பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தில் ரப்பூவின் மகன் பல்த்தி.
For [the] tribe of Benjamin Palti [the] son of Raphu.
10 ௧0 செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்தில் சோதியின் மகன் காதியேல்.
For [the] tribe of Zebulun Gaddiel [the] son of Sodi.
11 ௧௧ யோசேப்பின் கோத்திரத்தைச் சேர்ந்த மனாசே கோத்திரத்தில் சூசின் மகன் காதி.
For [the] tribe of Joseph for [the] tribe of Manasseh Gaddi [the] son of Susi.
12 ௧௨ தாண் கோத்திரத்தில் கெமல்லியின் மகன் அம்மியேல்.
For [the] tribe of Dan Ammiel [the] son of Gemalli.
13 ௧௩ ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்தில் மிகாவேலின் மகன் சேத்தூர்.
For [the] tribe of Asher Sethur [the] son of Michael.
14 ௧௪ நப்தலி கோத்திரத்தில் ஒப்பேசியின் மகன் நாகபி.
For [the] tribe of Naphtali Nahbi [the] son of Vopshi.
15 ௧௫ காத் கோத்திரத்தில் மாகியின் மகன் கூவேல்.
For [the] tribe of Gad Geuel [the] son of Maki.
16 ௧௬ தேசத்தைச் சுற்றிப்பார்க்கும்படி மோசே அனுப்பின மனிதர்களின் பெயர்கள் இவைகளே: நூனின் மகனாகிய ஓசேயாவுக்கு யோசுவா என்று மோசே பெயரிட்டிருந்தான்.
These [are] [the] names of the men whom he sent Moses to spy out the land and he called Moses Hoshea [the] son of Nun Joshua.
17 ௧௭ அவர்களை மோசே கானான்தேசத்தைச் சுற்றிப்பார்க்கும்படி அனுப்பும்போது, அவர்களை நோக்கி: “நீங்கள் இப்படித் தெற்கே போய், மலையில் ஏறி,
And he sent them Moses to spy out [the] land of Canaan and he said to them go up this in the Negev and you will go up the hill country.
18 ௧௮ தேசம் எப்படிப்பட்டது என்றும், அங்கே குடியிருக்கிற மக்கள் பலவான்களோ பலவீனர்களோ, கொஞ்சம்பேரோ அநேகம்பேரோ என்றும்,
And you will see the land what? [is] it and the people which dwells on it ¿ strong [is] it ¿ feeble ¿ few [is] it or? many.
19 ௧௯ அவர்கள் குடியிருக்கிற தேசம் எப்படிப்பட்டது, அது நல்லதோ கெட்டதோ என்றும், அவர்கள் பட்டணங்கள் எப்படிப்பட்டது என்றும், அவர்கள் கூடாரங்களில் குடியிருக்கிறவர்களோ கோட்டைகளில் குடியிருக்கிறவர்களோ என்றும்,
And what? [is] the land which it [is] dwelling in it ¿ good [is] it or? bad and what? [are] the cities which it [is] dwelling in them ¿ in camps or? in fortresses.
20 ௨0 நிலம் எப்படிப்பட்டது அது வளமானதோ வளமில்லாததோ என்றும்; அதில் மரங்கள் உண்டோ இல்லையோ என்றும் பாருங்கள்; தைரியம்கொண்டிருந்து, தேசத்தின் கனிகளிலே சிலவற்றைக் கொண்டுவாருங்கள் என்றான். அக்காலம் திராட்சைச்செடி முதற்பழம் பழுக்கிற காலமாக இருந்தது.
And what? [is] the land ¿ fat [is] it or? lean ¿ [is] there in it wood or? not and you will show yourselves strong and you will take some of [the] fruit of the land and the days [were the] days of [the] first-fruits of grapes.
21 ௨௧ அவர்கள் போய், சீன் வனாந்திரம்துவங்கி, ஆமாத்திற்குப் போகிற வழியாகிய ரேகொப்வரை, தேசத்தைச் சுற்றிப்பார்த்து,
And they went up and they spied out the land from [the] wilderness of Zin to Rehob Lebo Hamath.
22 ௨௨ தெற்கேயும் சென்று, எபிரோன்வரை போனார்கள்; அங்கே ஏனாக்கின் மகன்களாகிய அகீமானும் சேசாயும் தல்மாயும் இருந்தார்கள். எபிரோன் எகிப்திலுள்ள சோவானுக்கு ஏழுவருடங்களுக்குமுன்னே கட்டப்பட்டது.
And they went up in the Negev and he came to Hebron and [were] there Ahiman Sheshai and Talmai those born of Anak and Hebron seven years it was built before Zoan Egypt.
23 ௨௩ பின்பு, அவர்கள் எஸ்கோல் பள்ளத்தாக்குவரை போய், அங்கே ஒரே குலையுள்ள ஒரு திராட்சைக்கொடியை அறுத்தார்கள்; அதை ஒரு தடியிலே இரண்டு பேர் கட்டித் தூக்கிக்கொண்டு வந்தார்கள்; மாதுளம் பழங்களிலும் அத்திப்பழங்களிலும் சிலவற்றைக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.
And they came to [the] wadi of Eshcol and they cut down from there a branch and a cluster of grapes one and they carried it on the pole two and some of the pomegranates and some of the figs.
24 ௨௪ இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் அங்கே அறுத்த திராட்சைக்குலையினால், அந்த இடம் எஸ்கோல்பள்ளத்தாக்கு எனப்பட்டது.
the Place that someone called [the] wadi of Eshcol on [the] causes of the cluster which they cut down from there [the] people of Israel.
25 ௨௫ அவர்கள் தேசத்தைச் சுற்றிப் பார்த்து, நாற்பதுநாட்கள் சென்றபின்பு திரும்பினார்கள்.
And they returned from spying out the land from [the] end of forty day[s].
26 ௨௬ அவர்கள் பாரான் வனாந்திரத்தில் இருக்கிற காதேசுக்கு வந்து, மோசே ஆரோன் என்பவர்களிடத்திலும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களாகிய சபையார் எல்லோரிடத்திலும் சேர்ந்து, அவர்களுக்கும் சபையார் அனைவருக்கும் செய்தியை அறிவித்து, தேசத்தின் கனிகளை அவர்களுக்குக் காண்பித்தார்கள்.
And they went and they came to Moses and to Aaron and to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel to [the] wilderness of Paran Kadesh towards and they brought back them word and all the congregation and they showed them [the] fruit of the land.
27 ௨௭ அவர்கள் மோசேயை நோக்கி: “நீர் எங்களை அனுப்பின தேசத்திற்கு நாங்கள் போய் வந்தோம்; அது பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிற தேசந்தான்; இது அதினுடைய கனி.
And they recounted to him and they said we went into the land which you sent us and also [is] flowing of milk and honey it and this [is] fruit its.
28 ௨௮ ஆனாலும், அந்த தேசத்திலே குடியிருக்கிற மக்கள் பலவான்கள்; பட்டணங்கள் பாதுகாப்பானவைகளும் மிகவும் பெரியவைகளுமாக இருக்கிறது; அங்கே ஏனாக்கின் மகன்களையும் கண்டோம்.
Nevertheless for [is] strong the people which dwells in the land and the cities [are] fortified large very and also those born of Anak we saw there.
29 ௨௯ அமலேக்கியர்கள் தென்புறமான தேசத்தில் குடியிருக்கிறார்கள்; ஏத்தியர்களும், எபூசியர்களும், எமோரியர்களும் மலைநாட்டில் குடியிருக்கிறார்கள்; கானானியர்கள் மத்திய தரைக் கடல் அருகிலும் யோர்தானுக்கு அருகில் குடியிருக்கிறார்கள்” என்றார்கள்.
Amalek [is] dwelling in [the] land of the Negev and the Hittite[s] and the Jebusite[s] and the Amorite[s] [is] dwelling in the hill country and the Canaanite[s] [is] dwelling at the sea and on [the] side of the Jordan.
30 ௩0 அப்பொழுது காலேப் மோசேக்கு முன்பாக மக்களை அமர்த்தி: “நாம் உடனே போய் அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவோம்; நாம் அதை எளிதாக ஜெயித்துக்கொள்ளலாம்” என்றான்.
And he silenced Caleb the people to Moses and he said certainly we will go up and we will take possession of it for certainly we will prevail to it.
31 ௩௧ அவனோடுகூடப் போய்வந்த மனிதர்களோ: “நாம் போய் அந்த மக்களோடு எதிர்க்க நம்மாலே முடியாது; அவர்கள் நம்மைவிட பலவான்கள் என்றார்கள்.
And the men who they had gone up with him they said not we are able to go up against the people for [is] strong it more than us.
32 ௩௨ “நாங்கள் போய்ச் சுற்றிப் பார்த்து வந்த அந்த தேசம் தன்னுடைய குடிகளை தாங்களே உண்கிற தேசம்; நாங்கள் அதிலே கண்ட மக்கள் எல்லோரும் மிகவும் பெரிய ஆட்கள்.
And they brought out bad report of the land which they had spied out it to [the] people of Israel saying the land which we passed in it to spy out it [is] a land [which] devours inhabitants its it and all the people which we saw in [the] midst of it [were] men of stature.
33 ௩௩ அங்கே இராட்சதப் பிறவியான ஏனாக்கின் மகன்களாகிய இராட்சதர்களையும் கண்டோம்; நாங்கள் எங்களுடைய பார்வைக்கு வெட்டுக்கிளிகளைப்போல் இருந்தோம், அவர்களுடைய பார்வைக்கும் அப்படியே இருந்தோம்” என்று சொல்லி, இப்படி இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குள்ளே தாங்கள் சுற்றிப்பார்த்து வந்த தேசத்தைக்குறித்து துர்ச்செய்தி பரம்பச்செய்தார்கள்.
And there we saw the Nephilim [the] descendants of Anak [were] from the Nephilim and we were in own eyes our like grasshoppers and thus we were in view their.
