மத்தேயு 9
So getting into the boat He crossed over and came into His own city.
2 ௨ அங்கே படுக்கையிலே கிடந்த ஒரு பக்கவாதக்காரனை அவரிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். இயேசு அவர்களுடைய விசுவாசத்தைக் கண்டு, பக்கவாதக்காரனைப் பார்த்து: மகனே, திடன்கொள், உன் பாவங்கள் உனக்கு மன்னிக்கப்பட்டது என்றார்.
And then, they came to Him carrying a paralytic lying on a pallet. And seeing their faith Jesus said to the paralytic, “Courage, son; your sins are forgiven you!”
3 ௩ அப்பொழுது, வேதபண்டிதர்களில் சிலர்: இவன் தேவனை அவமதித்துப் பேசுகிறான் என்று தங்களுடைய உள்ளத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
But then, some of the scribes said within themselves, “This man blasphemes!”
4 ௪ இயேசு அவர்கள் நினைவுகளை அறிந்து: நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய இருதயங்களில் பொல்லாதவைகளைச் சிந்திக்கிறதென்ன?
So Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said: “Why do you think evil in your hearts?
So which is easier, to say ‘Your sins are forgiven’, or to say ‘Get up and walk’?
6 ௬ பூமியிலே பாவங்களை மன்னிக்க மனிதகுமாரனுக்கு அதிகாரம் உண்டு என்பதை நீங்கள் அறியவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லி, பக்கவாதக்காரனைப் பார்த்து: நீ எழுந்து, உன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, உன் வீட்டிற்குப் போ என்றார்.
But so that you may know that the Son of the Man has authority on the earth to forgive sins”—then He says to the paralytic, “On your feet, pick up your pallet and go to your house!”
So he got up and went off to his house.
8 ௮ மக்கள் அதைக் கண்டு ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, மனிதர்களுக்கு இப்படிப்பட்ட அதிகாரத்தைக் கொடுத்தவராகிய தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள்.
And seeing it the crowds marveled and glorified God, the one giving such authority to the people.
9 ௯ இயேசு அந்த இடத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப்போகும்போது, வரிவசூல் மையத்தில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்த மத்தேயு என்னும் ஒரு மனிதனைக் கண்டு: எனக்குப் பின்னே வா என்றார்; அவன் எழுந்து, அவருக்குப் பின்னேசென்றான்.
And going on from there Jesus saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office, and He says to him, “Follow me.” So getting up he followed Him.
10 ௧0 பின்பு அவர் வீட்டிலே உணவுப் பந்தியிருக்கும்போது, அநேக வரி வசூலிப்பவர்களும் பாவிகளும் வந்து, இயேசுவோடும் அவருடைய சீடர்களோடும் பந்தியில் இருந்தார்கள்.
Now it happened, as He was reclining at the table in the house, that many tax collectors and sinners had also come and were reclining at the table with Jesus and His disciples!
11 ௧௧ பரிசேயர்கள் அதைக் கண்டு, அவருடைய சீடர்களைப் பார்த்து: உங்களுடைய போதகர் வரி வசூலிப்பவர்களோடும் பாவிகளோடும் உணவு சாப்பிடுகிறது ஏன் என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
Upon seeing this the Pharisees said to His disciples, “Why does your teacher eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”
But Jesus heard it, so He said to them: “Those who are strong do not need a physician, but those who are sick.
13 ௧௩ பலியையல்ல, இரக்கத்தையே விரும்புகிறேன் என்பதின் கருத்து இன்னதென்று போய்க் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; நீதிமான்களையல்ல, பாவிகளையே மனந்திரும்புகிறதற்கு அழைக்கவந்தேன் என்றார்.
But go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
14 ௧௪ அப்பொழுது, யோவானுடைய சீடர்கள் அவரிடம் வந்து: நாங்களும் பரிசேயர்களும் அநேகமுறை உபவாசிக்கிறோமே; உம்முடைய சீடர்கள் உபவாசிக்காமல் இருக்கிறது ஏன் என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
Then the disciples of John come to Him saying, “Why is it that we and the Pharisees fast about many things, but your disciples do not fast?”
15 ௧௫ அதற்கு இயேசு: மணவாளன் தங்களோடு இருக்கும்போது மணவாளனுடைய தோழர்கள் துயரப்படுவார்களா? மணவாளன் அவர்களைவிட்டுப் போகும் நாட்கள் வரும், அப்பொழுது உபவாசிப்பார்கள்.
So Jesus said to them: “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.
16 ௧௬ ஒருவனும் புதிய துணியை பழைய ஆடையோடு இணைக்கமாட்டான்; இணைத்தால், அதினோடு இணைத்த பழைய ஆடையை அது அதிகமாகக் கிழிக்கும், கீறலும் அதிகமாகும்.
“And no one puts a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment and the tear becomes worse.
17 ௧௭ புதிய திராட்சைரசத்தைப் பழைய தோல் பைகளில் ஊற்றிவைக்கிறதும் இல்லை; ஊற்றிவைத்தால், தோல் பைகள் கிழிந்துபோகும், இரசமும் சிந்திப்போகும், தோல் பைகளும் கெட்டுப்போகும்; புதிய இரசத்தைப் புதிய தோல் பைகளில் ஊற்றிவைப்பார்கள், அப்பொழுது இரண்டும் பத்திரப்பட்டிருக்கும் என்றார்.
Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst and the wine spills out, and the wineskins will be ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
18 ௧௮ அவர் இவைகளை அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, தலைவன் ஒருவன் வந்து அவரை வணங்கி: என் மகள் இப்பொழுதுதான் இறந்துபோனாள்; ஆனாலும், நீர் வந்து அவள்மேல் உமது கையை வையும், அப்பொழுது பிழைப்பாள் என்றான்.
While He was saying these things to them, there he was; a certain ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her and she will live.”
So Jesus got up and followed him, with His disciples.
And then—a woman who had been hemorrhaging for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment.
21 ௨௧ நான் அவருடைய ஆடையையாவது தொட்டால் சுகமாவேன் என்று தன் உள்ளத்தில் எண்ணிக்கொண்டு, அவர் பின்னாலே வந்து, அவருடைய ஆடையின் ஓரத்தைத் தொட்டாள்.
For she kept saying to herself, “If only I may touch His garment I will be healed.”
22 ௨௨ இயேசு திரும்பி, அவளைப் பார்த்து: மகளே, திடன்கொள், உன் விசுவாசம் உன்னை இரட்சித்தது என்றார். அந்தநேரத்திலேயே அந்தப் பெண் சுகமானாள்.
But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said, “Take courage, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed from that very hour.
23 ௨௩ இயேசுவானவர் அந்தத் தலைவனுடைய வீட்டிற்கு வந்து, சங்கு ஊதுகிறவர்களையும், ஒப்பாரி வைக்கிற மக்களையும் கண்டு:
When Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the flutists and the crowd making a commotion,
24 ௨௪ விலகுங்கள், இந்த சிறுபெண் இறக்கவில்லை, தூங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறாள் என்றார். அதற்காக அவரைப் பார்த்து ஏளனம் செய்தார்கள்.
He says to them, “Go away, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” So they began to ridicule Him.
25 ௨௫ மக்கள் வெளியே அனுப்பப்பட்டப்பின்பு, அவர் உள்ளே பிரவேசித்து, அந்தச் சிறுபெண்ணின் கையைப் பிடித்தார்; உடனே அவள் எழுந்திருந்தாள்.
But when the crowd had been put outside, He went in and grasped her hand, and the girl got up.
And the report of this went out into all that land.
27 ௨௭ இயேசு அந்த இடத்தைவிட்டுப் போகும்போது, இரண்டு குருடர்கள் அவருக்குப் பின்னேசென்று: தாவீதின் குமாரனே, எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும் என்று கூப்பிட்டார்கள்.
As Jesus went on from there two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”
28 ௨௮ அவர் வீட்டிற்கு வந்தபின்பு, அந்தக் குருடர்கள் அவரிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள். இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: இதைச்செய்ய எனக்கு வல்லமை உண்டு என்று விசுவாசிக்கிறீர்களா என்று கேட்டார். அதற்கு அவர்கள்: ஆம் விசுவாசிக்கிறோம் ஆண்டவரே! என்றார்கள்.
And arriving in the house, the blind men approached Him; so He says to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They say to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
29 ௨௯ அப்பொழுது, அவர்களுடைய கண்களை அவர் தொட்டு: உங்களுடைய விசுவாசத்தின்படி உங்களுக்கு ஆகக்கடவது என்றார்.
Then He touched their eyes saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”
30 ௩0 உடனே அவர்களுடைய கண்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டது. இதை ஒருவரும் அறியாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள் என்று இயேசு அவர்களுக்குக் கண்டிப்பாய்க் கட்டளையிட்டார்.
And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them saying, “See to it that no one knows!”
But going out they spread the news about Him in all that country.
As they were going out, well, they brought to Him a mute man, demonized.
33 ௩௩ பிசாசு துரத்தப்பட்டப்பின்பு ஊமையன் பேசினான். மக்கள் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு: இஸ்ரவேலில் இப்படி ஒருபோதும் காணப்படவில்லை என்றார்கள்.
And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the crowds marveled saying, “Never was it seen like this in Israel!”
But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.”
35 ௩௫ பின்பு, இயேசு எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களையும் கிராமங்களையும் சுற்றி நடந்து, ஜெப ஆலயங்களில் உபதேசித்து, ராஜ்யத்தின் நற்செய்தியைப் பிரசங்கித்து, மக்களுக்கு உண்டாயிருந்த எல்லா வியாதிகளையும் எல்லா நோய்களையும் நீக்கி, அவர்களைச் சுகமாக்கினார்.
Then Jesus went around to all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every illness among the people.
36 ௩௬ அவர் திரளான மக்களைக் கண்டபொழுது, அவர்கள் மேய்ப்பனில்லாத ஆடுகளைப்போல சோர்ந்துபோனவர்களும் திக்கற்றவர்களுமாக இருந்தபடியால், அவர்கள்மேல் மனதுருகி,
Seeing the crowds He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and prostrated, like sheep without a shepherd.
Then He says to His disciples: “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the workers are few.
Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest that He may send out workers into His harvest.”
