மாற்கு 7
And the Pharisees and certain of the Scribes who have come from Jerusalem gather themselves together unto him;
2 ௨ அப்பொழுது அவருடைய சீடர்களில் சிலர் கைகளைக் கழுவாமல் சாப்பிடுகிறதை அவர்கள் பார்த்து குற்றஞ்சாட்டினார்கள்.
and, observing certain of his disciples, that, with defiled hands, that is unwashed, they are eating bread, ——
3 ௩ ஏனென்றால், யூதர்கள் அனைவரும் முக்கியமாக பரிசேயர்கள் முன்னோர்களின் பாரம்பரியத்தைக் கடைபிடித்து, அடிக்கடி கைகளைக் கழுவினாலொழிய சாப்பிடமாட்டார்கள்;
For, the Pharisees, and all the Jews, unless with care they wash their hands, eat not, holding fast the tradition of the elders;
4 ௪ கடைவீதிகளுக்குச் சென்று திரும்பி வரும்போதும் குளிக்காமல் சாப்பிடமாட்டார்கள். அப்படியே செம்புகளையும், கிண்ணங்களையும், செப்புக்குடங்களையும், இருக்கைகளையும் கழுவுகிறதோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல், வேறு அநேக சடங்குகளையும் கடைபிடித்துவருவார்கள்.
and coming from market, unless they sprinkle themselves, they eat not, —and, many other things, there are, which they have accepted to hold fast—immersions of cups and measures and copper vessels——
5 ௫ அப்பொழுது, அந்தப் பரிசேயர்களும் வேதபண்டிதர்களும் அவரைப் பார்த்து: உம்முடைய சீடர்கள் முன்னோர்களின் பாரம்பரியத்தை மீறி, ஏன் கைகளைக் கழுவாமல் சாப்பிடுகிறார்கள் என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
and so the Pharisees and the Scribes, question, him—For what cause do thy disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but, with defiled hands, eat bread?
6 ௬ அவர்களுக்கு அவர் மறுமொழியாக: இந்த மக்கள் தங்களுடைய உதடுகளினால் என்னை கனம்பண்ணுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இருதயமோ எனக்குத் தூரமாக விலகியிருக்கிறது என்றும்,
But, he, said unto them—Well, prophesied Isaiah concerning you, ye hypocrites, as it is written—This people, with the lips do honour me, while, their heart, far off, holdeth from me, —
7 ௭ மனிதர்களுடைய கட்டளைகளைப் போதனைகளாகப் போதித்து, வீணாக எனக்கு ஆராதனை செய்கிறார்கள் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, மாயக்காரர்களாகிய உங்களைக்குறித்து, ஏசாயா நன்றாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லியிருக்கிறான்.
But, in vain, do they pay devotions unto me, teaching for teachings, the commandments of men;
8 ௮ நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய கட்டளைகளை ஒதுக்கிவிட்டு, மனிதர்களுடைய பாரம்பரியத்தைக் கடைபிடித்துவருகிறவர்களாக, கிண்ணங்களையும் செம்புகளையும் கழுவுகிறீர்கள்; மற்றும் இப்படிப்பட்ட அநேக சடங்குகளையும் கடைபிடித்துவருகிறீர்கள்” என்றார்.
Having, dismissed, the commandment, of God, ye, hold fast, the tradition, of men.
9 ௯ பின்னும் அவர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய பாரம்பரியத்தைக் கடைபிடிப்பதற்காக தேவனுடைய கட்டளைகளை நிராகரித்தது நன்றாக இருக்கிறது.
And he was saying to them—Well, do ye set aside the commandment of God, that, your own tradition, ye may observe;
10 ௧0 எப்படியென்றால், உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் தாயையும் கனம்பண்ணுவாயாக என்றும், தகப்பனையாவது தாயையாவது அவமதிக்கிறவன் கொல்லப்படவேண்டும் என்றும், மோசே சொல்லியிருக்கிறாரே.
For, Moses, said—Honour thy father and thy mother, and—He that revileth father or mother, let him, surely die, —
11 ௧௧ நீங்களோ, ஒருவன் தன் தகப்பனையாவது தாயையாவது பார்த்து: உனக்கு நான் செய்யவேண்டிய உதவி எதுவோ, அதைக் கொர்பான் என்னும் காணிக்கையாக தேவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லிவிட்டால் அவனுடைய கடமை முடிந்தது என்று சொல்லி,
But, ye, say—If a man shall say to his father or his mother, Korban! that is, A gift, whatsoever, out of me, thou mightest be profited,
no longer, do ye suffer him to do, aught, for his father or his mother, —
13 ௧௩ நீங்கள் போதித்த உங்களுடைய பாரம்பரியத்தினால் தேவவசனத்தை அவமதிக்கிறீர்கள். இதுபோலவே நீங்கள் மற்ற அநேக காரியங்களையும் செய்கிறீர்கள் என்று சொன்னார்.
cancelling the word of God by your tradition which ye have delivered. And, many such similar things, are ye doing!
14 ௧௪ பின்பு அவர் மக்கள் எல்லோரையும் வரவழைத்து அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் நான் சொல்வதைக்கேட்டுப் புரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.
And, again calling near the multitude, he was saying unto them—Hearken to me, all! and understand:
15 ௧௫ மனிதனுக்கு வெளியிலிருந்து அவனுக்குள்ளே போகிறது அவனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாது; அவன் மனதிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிறவைகளே அவனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும்.
Nothing, is there, from without the man, entering into him, which can defile him; but, the things which, out of the man, come forth, are the things that defile the man.
17 ௧௭ அவர் மக்களைவிட்டு வீட்டிற்குள் சென்றபோது, அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அவர் சொன்ன உவமையைக்குறித்து அவரிடத்தில் விசாரித்தார்கள்.
And, when he entered into a house from the multitudes, his disciples began to question him as to the parable;
18 ௧௮ அதற்கு அவர்: நீங்களும் இவ்வளவு புரிந்துகொள்ளாதவர்களா? வெளியிலிருந்து மனிதனுக்குள்ளே போகிற எதுவும் அவனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாது என்று நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்ளவில்லையா?
And he saith unto them—Thus, are, ye also, without discernment? Perceive ye not that, nothing, from without, entering into the man, can defile him;
19 ௧௯ அது அவன் இருதயத்திற்குள் போகாமல் வயிற்றுக்குள்ளே போகிறது; அதிலிருந்து எல்லா அசுத்தங்களும் ஆசனவழியாக வெளியேபோகும்.
because it entereth not into his heart, but into his stomach, and, into the draught, is passed—purifying all foods?
And he was saying—That which, out of the man, cometh forth, that, defileth the man;
21 ௨௧ எப்படியென்றால், மனிதனுடைய இருதயத்திற்குள்ளிருந்து பொல்லாத சிந்தனைகளும், விபசாரங்களும், வேசித்தனங்களும், கொலைபாதகங்களும்,
For, from within, out of the heart of men, the base designs, come forth, —fornications, thefts,
22 ௨௨ திருட்டும், பொருளாசைகளும், துஷ்டகுணங்களும், கபடும், காமமும், வன்கண்ணும், அவதூறும், பெருமையும், மதிகேடும் புறப்பட்டுவரும்.
murders, adulteries, covetousnesses, knaveries, deceit, wantonness, an evil eye, profane speaking, foolishness, —
all these wicked things, from within, come forth, and defile, the man.
24 ௨௪ பின்பு, அவர் எழுந்து அந்த இடத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, தீரு சீதோன் பட்டணங்களின் எல்லைகளில்போய், ஒரு வீட்டிற்குள் சென்று, அவர் அங்கே இருப்பது ஒருவருக்கும் தெரியக்கூடாது என்று விரும்பியும், அவர் மறைவாக இருக்கமுடியாமல்போனது.
And, from thence arising, he departed into the bounds of Tyre [and Zidon]. And, entering into a house, he was wishing, no one, to know it, and yet could not escape notice, —
25 ௨௫ அசுத்தஆவி பிடித்திருந்த ஒரு சிறுபெண்ணின் தாய், இயேசுவைப்பற்றிக் கேள்விப்பட்டு, வந்து அவர் பாதத்தில் விழுந்தாள்.
but, straightway, a woman hearing about him, whose daughter had an impure spirit, she came and fell down at his feet.
26 ௨௬ அந்தப் பெண் சீரோபேனிக்கியா தேசத்தைச் சேர்ந்த கிரேக்கப் பெண்ணாக இருந்தாள்; அவள் தன் மகளைப் பிடித்திருந்த பிசாசைத் துரத்திவிடவேண்டும் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டாள்.
Now, the woman, was a Grecian, a Syrophoenician by race, —and she was requesting him that, the demon, he would cast forth out of her daughter.
27 ௨௭ இயேசு அவளைப் பார்த்து: முதலில் பிள்ளைகள் திருப்தியாகட்டும்; பிள்ளைகளின் அப்பத்தை எடுத்து நாய்க்குட்டிகளுக்குப் போடுகிறது நல்லது இல்லை என்றார்.
And he was saying to her—Suffer, the children, first, to be fed; for it is not seemly to take the bread of the children, and, unto the little dogs, to cast it;
28 ௨௮ அதற்கு அவள்: உண்மைதான் ஆண்டவரே, ஆனாலும், மேஜையின்கீழே இருக்கும் நாய்க்குட்டிகள் பிள்ளைகள் சிந்துகிற துணிக்கைகளைத் தின்னுமே என்றாள்.
but she answered and saith to him—Yea, Lord! and yet, the little dogs under the table, do eat of the crumbs of the children;
29 ௨௯ அப்பொழுது, அவர்: நீ சொன்ன அந்த வார்த்தையினிமித்தம் போகலாம், பிசாசு உன் மகளைவிட்டுப் போனது என்றார்.
and he said to her—Because of this word, go thy way, the demon hath gone forth out of thy daughter;
30 ௩0 அவள் தன் வீட்டிற்கு வந்தபொழுது, பிசாசு போய்விட்டதையும், தன் மகள் கட்டிலில் படுத்திருக்கிறதையும் கண்டாள்.
and, departing unto her house, she found the child laid prostrate on the couch, and the demon gone forth.
31 ௩௧ மறுபடியும், அவர் தீரு சீதோன் பட்டணங்களின் எல்லைகளைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, தெக்கப்போலியின் எல்லைகளின்வழியாகக் கலிலேயாக்கடலின் அருகே வந்தார்.
And, again coming forth out of the bounds of Tyre, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the bounds of Decapolis.
32 ௩௨ அங்கே திக்குவாயுடைய ஒரு காதுகேளாதவனை அவரிடம் கொண்டுவந்து, அவர் தமது கையை அவன்மேல் வைக்கவேண்டும் என்று வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
And they bring to him one deaf and stammering, and beseech him that he would lay upon him his hand.
33 ௩௩ அப்பொழுது, அவர் அவனை மக்கள் கூட்டத்தைவிட்டுத் தனியே அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், தம்முடைய விரல்களை அவன் காதுகளில் வைத்து, உமிழ்ந்து, அவனுடைய நாக்கைத் தொட்டு;
And, taking him away from the multitude apart, he thrust his fingers into his ears, and, spitting, touched his tongue;
34 ௩௪ வானத்தை அண்ணாந்துபார்த்து, பெருமூச்சுவிட்டு: எப்பத்தா என்றார்; அதற்குத் திறக்கப்படுவாயாக என்று அர்த்தம்.
and, looking up into the heaven, sighed deeply, and saith unto him—Ephphatha! that is, Be opened!
35 ௩௫ உடனே அவனுடைய காதுகள் திறக்கப்பட்டு, அவனுடைய நாக்கின் கட்டும் அவிழ்ந்து, அவன் தெளிவாகப் பேசினான்.
and his ears opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, —and he was speaking correctly.
36 ௩௬ அதை யாருக்கும் சொல்லவேண்டாம் என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; ஆனாலும் எவ்வளவு அதிகமாக அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டாரோ, அவ்வளவு அதிகமாக அவர்கள் அதைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்தி,
And he charged them that they should be telling, no one, —but, as much as to them he gave charge, they, exceeding more abundantly, were making proclamation.
37 ௩௭ எல்லாவற்றையும் நன்றாகச் செய்தார்; காதுகேட்காதவர்களைக் கேட்கவும், ஊமையர்களைப் பேசவும்பண்ணுகிறார் என்று சொல்லி, மேலும் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டார்கள்.
And, superabundantly, were they being struck with astonishment, saying—Well, hath he, all things, done, —both, the deaf, he causeth to hear, and, the dumb, to speak.
