And they came beyond the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes,
2 ௨ அவர் படகில் இருந்து இறங்கினவுடனே, அசுத்தஆவியுள்ள ஒரு மனிதன் கல்லறைகளில் இருந்து அவருக்கு எதிராகவந்தான்.
And a man from the tombs, with an unclean spirit met Him, having come out of the ship;
who had his dwelling among the tombs: neither was any one able to bind him with chains;
4 ௪ அவன் பலமுறை விலங்குகளினாலும் சங்கிலிகளினாலும் கட்டப்பட்டும், சங்கிலிகளைத் தகர்த்து, விலங்குகளை உடைத்துப்போடுவான்; அவனை அடக்க ஒருவனுக்கும் முடியவில்லை.
because frequently he had been bound with fetters and chains, and the chains were slipped off by him, and the fetters torn to pieces.
5 ௫ அவன் எப்பொழுதும் இரவும் பகலும், மலைகளிலும் கல்லறைகளிலும் இருந்து, சத்தம்போட்டு, கல்லுகளினால் தன்னைத்தானே காயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.
No one was able to tame him: and all the time, night and day, he was among the tombs in the mountains, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
And seeing Jesus a great way off, he ran to Him, and worshiped Him;
7 ௭ இயேசுவே, உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய குமாரனே, எனக்கும் உமக்கும் என்ன? என்னை வேதனைப்படுத்தவேண்டாம் என்று தேவனுடைய பெயரில் உம்மைக் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறேன் என்று அதிக சத்தமிட்டுச் சொன்னான்.
and crying with a loud voice, he says, What is there to me and to thee, O Jesus, thou Son of the Most High God? I adjure thee in the name of God, that you may not torment me.
8 ௮ ஏனென்றால், அவர் அவனைப் பார்த்து: அசுத்தஆவியே, இந்த மனிதனைவிட்டு வெளியே போ என்று சொல்லியிருந்தார்.
For He said to him, Unclean spirit, come out from the man.
9 ௯ அப்பொழுது அவர் அவனைப் பார்த்து: உன் பெயர் என்ன என்று கேட்டார். அதற்கு அவன்: நாங்கள் அநேகர் இருப்பதினால் என் பெயர் லேகியோன் என்று சொல்லி,
And He asked him, What is thy name? And he says to Him, My name is Legion; because we are many.
And he continued to intreat Him much, that He would not send them out of the country.
And there was a great herd of swine feeding in the mountain.
12 ௧௨ அந்தப் பிசாசுகள் அவரைப் பார்த்து: பன்றிகளுக்குள்ளே போக, அவைகளுக்குள் எங்களை அனுப்பும் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டன.
And they intreated Him, saying, Send us into the swine, in order that we may go into them.
13 ௧௩ இயேசு அவைகளுக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுத்தவுடனே, அசுத்தஆவிகள் புறப்பட்டுப் பன்றிகளுக்குள் போனது; உடனே ஏறக்குறைய இரண்டாயிரம் பன்றிகளுள்ள அந்தக்கூட்டம் உயர்ந்த மேட்டிலிருந்து ஓடி, கடலிலே பாய்ந்து, கடலில் அமிழ்ந்துபோனது.
And Jesus immediately permitted them. And the unclean spirits having gone out, came into the swine: and the herd rushed down a precipice into the sea, and there were about two thousand: and they were strangled in the sea.
14 ௧௪ பன்றிகளை மேய்த்தவர்கள் ஓடி, இதைப் பட்டணத்திலும் சுற்றுப்புறங்களிலும் அறிவித்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது நடந்தவைகளைப் பார்ப்பதற்காக மக்கள் புறப்பட்டு;
And those herding them fled, and reported in the city, and in the country. And they came out to see what it was that came to pass.
15 ௧௫ இயேசுவிடம் வந்து, லேகியோனாகிய பிசாசுகள் பிடித்திருந்தவன் புத்தி தெளிந்து, உடை அணிந்து, உட்கார்ந்திருப்பதைப் பார்த்து, பயந்தார்கள்.
And they come to Jesus, and see the demonized man sitting down, both clothed and in his right mind, the one called Legion; and they were afraid.
16 ௧௬ பிசாசுகள் பிடித்திருந்தவனுக்கும் பன்றிகளுக்கும் நடந்தவைகளைப் பார்த்தவர்களும் அவர்களுக்கு விளக்கமாகச் சொன்னார்கள்.
And those seeing, related to them how it happened to the demonized man and concerning the swine.
And they began to intreat Him to depart from their coasts.
18 ௧௮ அப்படியே அவர் படகில் ஏறும்பொழுது, பிசாசு பிடித்திருந்தவன், இயேசுவோடு வருவதற்கு தனக்கு அனுமதி கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டான்.
And He having come to the ship, the demonized man intreated Him that he should be with Him.
19 ௧௯ இயேசு அவனுக்கு அனுமதி கொடுக்காமல்: நீ உன் குடும்பத்தாரிடம் உன் வீட்டிற்குப்போய், கர்த்தர் உனக்கு மனமிறங்கி, உனக்குச் செய்தவைகளை எல்லாம் அவர்களுக்குச் சொல் என்று சொன்னார்.
And He did not permit him, but says to him, Go to thine own house to thy people, and proclaim to them how many things the Lord has done for thee, and had mercy on thee.
20 ௨0 அப்படியே அவன்போய், இயேசு தனக்குச் செய்தவைகளை எல்லாம் தெக்கப்போலி என்னும் நாட்டில் பிரசித்தப்படுத்தினான்; எல்லோரும் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டார்கள்.
And he went away, and began to preach in Decapolis, how many things Jesus did to him. And all were astonished.
21 ௨௧ இயேசு படகில் ஏறி மறுபடியும் இக்கரைக்கு வந்து, கடலோரத்தில் இருந்தபோது, அநேக மக்கள் அவரிடம் கூடிவந்தார்கள்.
And Jesus crossing over in the ship again to the other side, a great multitude was gathered unto Him; and He was by the sea.
22 ௨௨ அப்பொழுது, ஜெப ஆலயத்தலைவரில் ஒருவனாகிய யவீரு என்பவன் வந்து, அவரைப் பார்த்தவுடனே, அவர் பாதத்தில் விழுந்து:
And one of the chief rulers of the synagogue, by name jairus, comes; and seeing Him falls at His feet,
23 ௨௩ என் மகள் மரணவேதனைப்படுகிறாள், அவள் சுகமடைய, நீர் வந்து, அவள்மேல் உமது கரங்களை வையும், அப்பொழுது பிழைப்பாள் என்று அவரை அதிகமாக வேண்டிக்கொண்டான்.
and intreats Him much saying, My little daughter is at the point of death: that coming He may lay hands on her, in order that she may be saved and live.
And He departed with him; and a great multitude followed Him, even treading on Him.
And a certain woman, being in an issue of blood twelve years,
26 ௨௬ அநேக வைத்தியர்களால் அதிகமாக வருத்தப்பட்டு, தன்னிடம் இருந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் செலவு செய்தும், கொஞ்சம்கூட குணமாகாமல் அதிகமாக வருத்தப்படுகிறபொழுது,
and having suffered much from many physicians, and expended all things which were with her, and being profited as to nothing, but rather having come to the worse,
hearing concerning Jesus, having come in the crowd behind, touched His garment.
For she was saying, If I may touch His garment, I shall be saved.
29 ௨௯ உடனே அவளுடைய இரத்தப்போக்கு நின்றுபோனது; அந்த வேதனை நீங்கி சுகம் பெற்றதை அவள் தன் சரீரத்தில் உணர்ந்தாள்.
And immediately the issue of her blood was dried up: and she knew in her body that she is healed of her plague.
30 ௩0 உடனே இயேசு தம்மிடம் இருந்து வல்லமை புறப்பட்டுப் போனதைத் தமக்குள் அறிந்து, மக்கள்கூட்டத்தில் திரும்பி: என் ஆடைகளைத் தொட்டது யார் என்று கேட்டார்.
And immediately Jesus, knowing in Himself that the powerhas gone out from Him, turning in the crowd, said, Who touched my garments?
31 ௩௧ அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அவரைப் பார்த்து: அநேக மக்கள் உம்மை நெருக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறதை நீர் பார்த்தும், என்னைத் தொட்டது யார் என்று கேட்கிறீரே என்றார்கள்.
And His disciples continued to say to Him, You see the crowd treading upon you, and you say, Who touched me?
And He looked round to see her who did it.
33 ௩௩ தன்னிடம் நடந்ததை அறிந்த அந்தப் பெண் பயந்து, நடுங்கி, அவர் முன்பாக வந்து விழுந்து, உண்மைகளை எல்லாம் அவருக்குச் சொன்னாள்.
And the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what has taken place unto herself, came and fell down before Him, and told Him the whole truth.
34 ௩௪ அவர் அவளைப் பார்த்து: மகளே, உன் விசுவாசம் உன்னை இரட்சித்தது, நீ சமாதானத்தோடு போய், உன் வேதனை நீங்கி, சுகமாக இரு என்றார்.
And He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
35 ௩௫ அவர் இப்படிப் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, ஜெப ஆலயத்தலைவனுடைய வீட்டிலிருந்து சிலர் வந்து: உம்முடைய மகள் மரித்துப்போனாள், இனி ஏன் போதகரை வருத்தப்படுத்துகிறாய் என்றார்கள்.
And He still speaking, they come from the house of the chief ruler of the synagogue, saying, Thy daughter is dead: why do you still trouble the Teacher?
36 ௩௬ அவர்கள் சொன்ன வார்த்தையை இயேசு கேட்டவுடனே, ஜெப ஆலயத்தலைவனைப் பார்த்து: பயப்படாதே, விசுவாசம் உள்ளவனாக இரு என்று சொல்லி;
And Jesus, immediately hearing the word spoken, says to the chief ruler, Fear not, only believe.
37 ௩௭ வேறுயாரையும் தம்மோடு சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளாமல், பேதுருவையும், யாக்கோபையும், யாக்கோபின் சகோதரன் யோவானையும் தம்மோடு கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோனார்;
and He did not permit any one to accompany Him, except Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
38 ௩௮ ஜெப ஆலயத்தலைவனுடைய வீட்டிற்கு வந்து, அங்கே சத்தமிடுகிற மக்களையும் மிகவும் அழுது புலம்புகிறவர்களையும் கண்டு,
And He comes into the house of the chief ruler of the synagogue; And He sees a tumult, weeping and wailing much;
39 ௩௯ உள்ளே சென்று: நீங்கள் சத்தமிட்டு அழுகிறது ஏன்? பிள்ளை மரிக்கவில்லை, தூங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறாள் என்றார்.
and having come in, He says to them, Why are you excited and weeping? The child is not dead, but sleepeth.
40 ௪0 அதற்காக அவரைப் பார்த்து சிரித்தார்கள். எல்லோரையும் அவர் வெளியே அனுப்பிவிட்டு, பிள்ளையின் தகப்பனையும் தாயையும் தம்மோடு வந்தவர்களையும் அழைத்துக்கொண்டு, பிள்ளை இருந்த அறைக்குள் சென்று,
And they hooted at Him. And putting them all out, He takes the father and mother of the child and those with Him, and goes in where the child was.
41 ௪௧ பிள்ளையின் கையைப் பிடித்து: தலீத்தாகூமி என்றார்; அதற்கு; சிறுபெண்ணே எழுந்திரு என்று உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று அர்த்தம்.
And taking the child by the hand, says to her, Talitha cumi; which is interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, Arise.
42 ௪௨ உடனே சிறுபெண் எழுந்து நடந்தாள்; அவள் பன்னிரண்டு வயதுள்ளவளாக இருந்தாள். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் மிகுந்த ஆச்சரியப்பட்டுப் பிரமித்தார்கள்.
And immediately the damsel stood up, and walked about; for she was twelve years old. And they were immediately delighted with great delight.
43 ௪௩ அதை ஒருவருக்கும் சொல்லவேண்டாம் என்று அவர்களுக்கு உறுதியாகக் கட்டளையிட்டு, அவளுக்குச் சாப்பிடுவதற்கு ஏதாவது கொடுங்கள் என்று சொன்னார்.
And He charged them much that no one should know it; and He said that something should be given to her to eat.
