மாற்கு 4
1 ௧ இயேசு மறுபடியும் கடலோரத்திலே போதகம்பண்ணத் தொடங்கினார். அநேக மக்கள் அவரிடம் கூடிவந்ததினால், அவர் கடலிலே நின்ற ஒரு படகில் ஏறி உட்கார்ந்தார்; மக்களெல்லோரும் கடற்கரையில் நின்றார்கள்.
Again he began to teach by the seaside. A great multitude was gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat in the sea and sat down. All the multitude were on the land by the sea.
2 ௨ அவர் அநேக காரியங்களை உவமைகளாக அவர்களுக்குப் போதித்தார்; போதிக்கிறபொழுது அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னது என்னவென்றால்:
He taught them many things in parables, and told them in his teaching,
“Listen! Behold, the farmer went out to sow.
4 ௪ அவன் விதைக்கும்போது, சில விதைகள் வழியருகே விழுந்தன; வானத்துப் பறவைகள் வந்து அந்த விதைகளைத் தின்றுபோட்டது.
As he sowed, some seed fell by the road, and the birds came and devoured it.
5 ௫ சில விதைகள் அதிக மண் இல்லாத கற்பாறை நிலத்தில் விழுந்தன; அதற்கு ஆழமான மண் இல்லாததினாலே சீக்கிரத்தில் முளைத்தது;
Others fell on the rocky ground, where it had little soil, and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil.
When the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
7 ௭ சில விதைகள் முள்ளுள்ள இடங்களில் விழுந்தது; முள் வளர்ந்து, விதை பலன் கொடுக்காதபடி, அதை நெருக்கிப்போட்டது.
Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
8 ௮ சில விதைகள் நல்ல நிலத்தில் விழுந்து, உயர்ந்து வளருகிற பயிராகி, ஒன்று முப்பதுமடங்காகவும், ஒன்று அறுபதுமடங்காகவும், ஒன்று நூறுமடங்காகவும் பலன் தந்தது.
Others fell into the good ground and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing. Some produced thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times as much.”
He said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.”
10 ௧0 அவர் தனிமையாக இருக்கிறபோது, பன்னிரண்டுபேரும், அவருக்கு நெருக்கமாக இருந்தவர்களும் இந்த உவமையைக்குறித்து அவரிடம் கேட்டார்கள்.
When he was alone, those who were around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.
11 ௧௧ அதற்கு அவர்: தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தின் இரகசியத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும்படி உங்களுக்கு அருளப்பட்டது; வெளியே இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கோ இவைகள் எல்லாம் உவமைகளாகச் சொல்லப்படுகிறது.
He said to them, “To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,
12 ௧௨ “அவர்கள் குணமாகாதபடிக்கும், பாவங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படாதபடிக்கும், அவர்கள் கண்டும் காணாதவர்களாகவும், கேட்டும் உணராதவர்களாகவும் இருக்கும்படி, இப்படிச் சொல்லப்படுகிறது” என்றார்.
that ‘seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest perhaps they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.’”
13 ௧௩ பின்பு அவர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: “இந்த உவமையை நீங்கள் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லையா? புரியாவிட்டால் மற்ற உவமைகளையெல்லாம் எப்படிப் புரிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்?
He said to them, “Do not you understand this parable? How will you understand all of the parables?
The farmer sows the word.
15 ௧௫ வசனத்தைக் கேட்டவுடனே சாத்தான் வந்து, அவர்கள் இருதயங்களில் விதைக்கப்பட்ட வசனத்தை எடுத்துப்போடுகிறான்; இவர்களே வழியருகே விதைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்.
The ones by the road are the ones where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them.
These in the same way are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy.
17 ௧௭ தங்களுக்குள்ளே வேர்கொள்ளாதபடியால், கொஞ்சக்காலம்மட்டும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார்கள், வசனத்தினால் உபத்திரவமும் துன்பமும் உண்டானவுடனே இடறலடைகிறார்கள்; இவர்களே கற்பாறை நிலத்தில் விதைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்.
They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble.
18 ௧௮ வசனத்தைக் கேட்டும், உலகக் கவலைகளும், ஐசுவரியத்தின் மயக்கமும், மற்றவைகளைப்பற்றி உண்டாகிற ஆசைகளும் உள்ளே புகுந்து, வசனத்தை நெருக்கிப்போட, அதினால் பலன் இல்லாமல் போகிறார்கள். (aiōn g165)
Others are those who are sown among the thorns. These are those who have heard the word,
and the cares of this age (aiōn g165), and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
20 ௨0 வசனத்தைக்கேட்டு, ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, ஒன்று முப்பதுமடங்கும், ஒன்று அறுபதுமடங்கும், ஒன்று நூறுமடங்காகவும் பலன்கொடுக்கிறார்கள்; இவர்களே நல்ல நிலத்தில் விதைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்” என்றார்.
Those which were sown on the good ground are those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit, some thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times.”
21 ௨௧ பின்னும் அவர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: விளக்கு விளக்குத்தண்டின்மேல் வைக்கிறதற்குத்தானேதவிர, பாத்திரத்தின் கீழோ, கட்டிலின் கீழோ, வைக்கிறதற்குக் கொண்டுவருவார்களா?
He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is not it put on a stand?
For there is nothing hidden except that it should be made known, neither was anything made secret but that it should come to light.
If any man has ears to hear, let him hear.”
24 ௨௪ பின்னும் அவர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் கேட்கிறதைக் கவனியுங்கள். எந்த அளவினால் அளக்கிறீர்களோ, அந்த அளவினால் உங்களுக்கும் அளக்கப்படும்; கேட்கிற உங்களுக்கு அதிகம் கொடுக்கப்படும்.
He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you; and more will be given to you who hear.
25 ௨௫ உள்ளவன் எவனோ, அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்; இல்லாதவன் எவனோ, அவனிடம் உள்ளதும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும் என்றார்.
For whoever has, to him more will be given; and he who does not have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.”
He said, “God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,
27 ௨௭ இரவில் தூங்கி, பகலில் விழிக்க, அவனுக்குத் தெரியாமலேயே, விதை முளைத்துப் பயிராவதற்கு ஒப்பாக இருக்கிறது.
and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, though he does not know how.
28 ௨௮ எப்படியென்றால், நிலமானது முதலில் முளையையும், பின்பு கதிரையும், கதிரிலே நிறைந்த தானியத்தையும் பலனாகத் தானாகக் கொடுக்கும்.
For the earth bears fruit by itself: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
30 ௩0 பின்னும் அவர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தை எதற்கு ஒப்பிடுவோம்? அல்லது எந்த உவமையினாலே அதை விளக்கிச் சொல்லமுடியும்?
He said, “How will we liken God’s Kingdom? Or with what parable will we illustrate it?
31 ௩௧ அது ஒரு கடுகுவிதைக்கு ஒப்பாக இருக்கிறது; அது பூமியில் விதைக்கப்படும்போது பூமியில் உள்ள எல்லாவிதைகளையும்விட மிக சிறியதாக இருக்கிறது;
It’s like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, though it is less than all the seeds that are on the earth,
32 ௩௨ விதைக்கப்பட்டப் பின்போ, அது வளர்ந்து, எல்லாப் பூண்டுகளையும்விட மிக பெரிதாக வளர்ந்து, ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் அதின் நிழலின்கீழ் வந்து கூடுகளைக்கட்டத்தக்க பெரிய கிளைகளை விடும் என்றார்.
yet when it is sown, grows up and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts out great branches, so that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow.”
33 ௩௩ அவர்கள் கேட்டுப் புரிந்துகொள்வதற்கு ஏற்றபடி, அவர் இப்படிப்பட்ட அநேக உவமைகளினாலே அவர்களுக்கு வசனத்தைச் சொன்னார்.
With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.
34 ௩௪ உவமைகள் இல்லாமல் அவர்களுக்கு அவர் ஒன்றும் சொல்லவில்லை; அவர் தம்முடைய சீடர்களோடு தனிமையாக இருக்கும்போது, அவர்களுக்கு எல்லாவற்றையும் விளக்கிச்சொன்னார்.
Without a parable he did not speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.
On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side.”
36 ௩௬ அவர்கள் மக்களை அனுப்பிவிட்டு, அவர் படகில் இருந்தபடியே அவரைக்கொண்டுபோனார்கள். வேறு படகுகளும் அவரோடு இருந்தது.
Leaving the multitude, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him.
A big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled.
38 ௩௮ இயேசு, கப்பலின் பின்பக்கத்தில் தலையணையை வைத்துத் தூங்கிக்கொண்டிருந்தார். அவர்கள் அவரை எழுப்பி: போதகரே, நாங்கள் மரித்துப்போவதைப்பற்றி உமக்குக் கவலை இல்லையா? என்றார்கள்.
He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke him up and asked him, “Teacher, do not you care that we are dying?”
39 ௩௯ அவர் எழுந்து, காற்றை அதட்டி, கடலைப்பார்த்து: சீராதே, அமைதியாக இரு என்றார். அப்பொழுது காற்று நின்றுபோய், மிகுந்த அமைதி உண்டானது.
He awoke and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was a great calm.
40 ௪0 அவர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: ஏன் இப்படிப் பயப்பட்டீர்கள்? ஏன் உங்களுக்கு விசுவாசம் இல்லாமற்போனது என்றார்.
He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?”
41 ௪௧ அவர்கள் மிகவும் பயந்து: இவர் யாரோ? காற்றும் கடலும் இவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதே என்று, ஒருவரோடொருவர் சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
They were greatly afraid and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
