மாற்கு 10
1 ௧ இயேசு அந்த இடத்திலிருந்து, யோர்தான் நதிக்கு அக்கரையில் உள்ள தேசத்தின்வழியாக யூதேயாவின் எல்லைகளில் வந்தார். மக்கள் மீண்டும் அவரிடம் கூடிவந்தார்கள். அவர் தம்முடைய வழக்கத்தின்படியே மீண்டும் அவர்களுக்குப் போதகம்பண்ணினார்.
And, from thence, arising, he cometh into the bounds of Judaea and beyond the Jordan, —and there come together again, multitudes unto him, and, as he had been wont, again, was he teaching them.
2 ௨ அப்பொழுது பரிசேயர்கள், அவரைச் சோதிக்கவேண்டும் என்று, அவரிடம் வந்து: கணவன் தன் மனைவியை விவாகரத்து செய்வது நியாயமா? என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
And Pharisees coming near were questioning him—whether it is allowed a husband to divorce a wife, testing him.
But, he, answering, said unto them—What unto you did, Moses, command?
4 ௪ அதற்கு அவர்கள் விவாகரத்திற்குரிய விடுதலைப்பத்திரத்தை எழுதிக்கொடுத்து, அவளை விவாகரத்து செய்யலாம் என்று மோசே அனுமதி கொடுத்திருக்கிறார் என்றார்கள்.
And, they, said—Moses permitted, to write, a roll of dismissal, and to divorce.
5 ௫ இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு மறுமொழியாக: உங்களுடைய இருதயக் கடினத்தினாலே இந்தக் கட்டளையை உங்களுக்கு எழுதிக்கொடுத்தான்.
But, Jesus, said unto them—In view of your hardness of heart, wrote he for you this commandment;
But, from the beginning of creation, male and female, made he [them];
For this cause, shall a man leave behind his father and mother,
8 ௮ அவர்கள் இருவர்களும் ஒரே மாம்சமாக இருப்பார்கள்; இவ்விதமாக அவர்கள் இருவர்களாக இல்லாமல் ஒரே மாம்சமாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.
and, the two, shall become, one flesh; so that, no longer, are they two, but, one flesh.
What then, God, hath yoked together, let, a man, not put asunder.
10 ௧0 பின்பு வீட்டில் இருக்கும்போது அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அந்தக் காரியத்தைக்குறித்து மீண்டும் அவரிடம் விசாரித்தார்கள்.
And, [coming] into the house again, the disciples, concerning this, were questioning him;
11 ௧௧ அப்பொழுது அவர்: யாராவது தன் மனைவியை விவாகரத்து செய்துவிட்டு, வேறொரு பெண்ணைத் திருமணம்செய்தால், அவன் அவளுக்கு விரோதமாக விபசாரம் செய்கிறவனாக இருப்பான்.
and he saith unto them—Whosoever shall divorce his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her;
12 ௧௨ மனைவியும் தன் கணவனை விவாகரத்து செய்துவிட்டு, வேறொருவனை திருமணம்செய்தால், விபசாரம் செய்கிறவளாக இருப்பாள் என்றார்.
And, if, she, divorcing her husband, marry another, she committeth adultery.
13 ௧௩ அப்பொழுது, சிறு பிள்ளைகளை அவர் தொடுவதற்காக அவர்களை அவரிடம் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; கொண்டுவந்தவர்களைச் சீடர்கள் அதட்டினார்கள்.
And they were bringing unto him children, that he might, touch, them, —the disciples, however, were rebuking them.
14 ௧௪ இயேசு அதைப் பார்த்து கோபப்பட்டு: சிறு பிள்ளைகள் என்னிடம் வருகிறதற்கு இடம்கொடுங்கள்; அவர்களைத் தடைப்பண்ணவேண்டாம்; தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களுடையது.
But Jesus, seeing it, was greatly displeased, and said unto them—Suffer the children to come unto me, —do not hinder them; for, of such, is the kingdom of God.
15 ௧௫ யாராவது சிறு பிள்ளையைப்போல தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை என்றால், அவன் அதில் பிரவேசிப்பதில்லை என்று, உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று சொல்லி,
Verily, I say unto you—Whosoever shall not welcome the kingdom of God, as a child, in nowise shall enter thereinto.
And, folding them in his arms, he was blessing them, having laid his hands upon them.
17 ௧௭ பின்பு அவர் புறப்பட்டுப் போய்க்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, ஒருவன் ஓடிவந்து, அவருக்கு முன்பாக முழங்கால்படியிட்டு: நல்ல போதகரே, நித்தியஜீவனைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ள நான் என்னசெய்யவேண்டும் என்று கேட்டான். (aiōnios g166)
And, as he was going forth into a road, one, running, and kneeling before him, was questioning him—Good Teacher! what shall I do that, life age—abiding, I may inherit? (aiōnios g166)
18 ௧௮ அதற்கு இயேசு: நீ என்னை நல்லவன் என்று சொல்வது எதினால்? தேவன் ஒருவர்தவிர நல்லவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை.
And, Jesus, said unto him—Why callest thou me, good? None, is good, save one—God.
19 ௧௯ விபசாரம் செய்யாதே, கொலை செய்யாதே, திருடாதே, பொய்ச்சாட்சி சொல்லாதே, ஏமாற்றாதே, உன் தகப்பனையும், தாயையும் கனம்பண்ணு என்கிற கட்டளைகளைப்பற்றி தெரிந்திருக்கிறாயே என்றார்.
The commandments, thou knowest, —Do not commit murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal; Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honour thy father and mother.
And, he, said unto him—Teacher! all these things, have I kept, from my youth.
21 ௨௧ இயேசு அவனைப் பார்த்து, அவனிடம் அன்புகூர்ந்து: உன்னிடத்தில் ஒரு குறைவு உண்டு; நீ போய், உனக்கு உண்டானவைகளை எல்லாவற்றையும் விற்று, ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடு; அப்பொழுது பரலோகத்திலே உனக்குப் பொக்கிஷம் உண்டாயிருக்கும்; பின்பு சிலுவையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, என்னைப் பின்பற்றிவா என்றார்.
And, Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said unto him—One thing, unto thee, is wanting; —Withdraw! whatsoever thou hast, sell, and give unto [the] destitute, —and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come! be following me.
22 ௨௨ அவனுக்கு அதிக சொத்துக்கள் இருந்ததால், இந்த வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு, சோர்ந்து, துக்கத்தோடு போய்விட்டான்.
And, he, becoming gloomy because of the word, departed sorrowing, for he was holding, many possessions.
23 ௨௩ அப்பொழுது இயேசு சுற்றிலும்பார்த்து, தம்முடைய சீடர்களைப் பார்த்து: செல்வந்தர்கள் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பது எவ்வளவு கடினமாக இருக்கிறது என்றார்.
And, looking around, Jesus saith unto his disciples—With what difficulty, shall, they who have money, enter, into the kingdom of God!
24 ௨௪ சீடர்கள் அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளைக்குறித்து ஆச்சரியப்பட்டார்கள். இயேசு மீண்டும் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: பிள்ளைகளே, செல்வத்தின்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாக இருக்கிறவர்கள் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பது எவ்வளவு கடினமாக இருக்கிறது!
And, the disciples, were in amazement, because of the words. But, Jesus, again answering, saith unto them—Children! how difficult, it is, to enter, into the kingdom of God!
25 ௨௫ செல்வந்தர்கள் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பதைவிட, ஒட்டகமானது ஊசியின் காதிலே நுழைவது சுலபமாக இருக்கும் என்றார்.
It is, easier, for a camel, through the eye of a needle, to pass, than for, a rich man, into the kingdom of God, to enter.
26 ௨௬ அவர்கள் அதிகமாக ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு: அப்படியானால் யார் இரட்சிக்கப்படமுடியும் என்று தங்களுக்குள்ளே சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
And, they, were being exceedingly struck with astonishment, saying unto him—Who, then, can, be saved?
27 ௨௭ இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: மனிதர்களால் இது முடியாது, தேவனால் இது முடியும்; தேவனாலே எல்லாம் முடியும் என்றார்.
Looking at them, Jesus saith—With men, impossible, but not, with God; for, all things, are possible, with God
28 ௨௮ அப்பொழுது பேதுரு அவரைப் பார்த்து: இதோ, நாங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும்விட்டு, உம்மைப் பின்பற்றிவந்தோமே, என்று சொல்லத்தொடங்கினான்.
Peter began to be saying unto him—Lo! we, have left all, and followed thee!
29 ௨௯ அதற்கு இயேசு மறுமொழியாக: எனக்காகவும், நற்செய்திப் பணிக்காகவும், வீட்டையாவது, சகோதரர்களையாவது, சகோதரிகளையாவது, தகப்பனையாவது, தாயையாவது, மனைவியையாவது, குழந்தைகளையாவது, நிலங்களையாவது விட்டு வந்தவன் எவனும்,
Jesus said—Verily, I say unto you—There is, no one, who hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me, and [for the sake of] the glad-message,
31 ௩௧ ஆனாலும் முந்தினவர்கள் அநேகர் பிந்தினவர்களாகவும், பிந்தினவர்கள் அநேகர் முந்தினவர்களாகவும் இருப்பார்கள் என்றார்.
But, many, shall be—first-last, and [the] Last-first.
32 ௩௨ பின்பு அவர்கள் எருசலேமுக்குப் பயணமாகப் போகும்பொழுது, இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு முன்பே நடந்துபோனார்; அவர்கள் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, அவருக்குப் பின்னால் பயத்தோடு போனார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர் பன்னிரண்டு சீடர்களையும் அழைத்து, தமக்கு நடக்கப்போகிறவைகளை அவர்களுக்கு மீண்டும் சொல்லத்தொடங்கினார்:
Now they were in the way, going up unto Jerusalem, and Jesus was going on before them, —and they were in amazement; and, they who followed, were in fear. And, taking unto himself, again, the twelve, he began to be saying unto them, as to the things about to befall him—
33 ௩௩ இதோ, எருசலேமுக்குப் போகிறோம்; அங்கே மனிதகுமாரன் பிரதான ஆசாரியர்களிடத்திலும் வேதபண்டிதரிடத்திலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்படுவார்; அவர்கள் அவரை மரணதண்டனைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்த்து, யூதரல்லாதோர்களிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பார்கள்.
Lo! we are going up unto Jerusalem; and, the Son of Man, will be delivered up, unto the Chief-priests and the Scribes, —and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him up unto the nations;
34 ௩௪ அவர்கள் அவரைப் பரிகாசம்பண்ணி, அவரை சாட்டையினால் அடித்து, அவர்மேல் துப்பி, அவரைக் கொலைசெய்வார்கள்; ஆனாலும் மூன்றாம்நாளிலே அவர் உயிரோடு எழுந்திருப்பார் என்றார்.
And they will mock him, and spit upon him, and scourge him, and, slay; —and, after three days, will he, arise.
35 ௩௫ அப்பொழுது செபெதேயுவின் குமாரர்களாகிய யாக்கோபும் யோவானும் அவரிடம் வந்து: போதகரே, நாங்கள் எதைக்கேட்டாலும் அதை நீர் எங்களுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகிறோம் என்றார்கள்.
And there come near unto him, James and John, the [two] sons of Zebedee, —saying unto him—Teacher! we desire, that, whatsoever we shall ask thee, thou wilt do for us.
36 ௩௬ அவர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நான் உங்களுக்கு என்னசெய்யவேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகிறீர்கள் என்று கேட்டார்.
But, he, said unto them—What desire ye, I should do for you?
37 ௩௭ அதற்கு அவர்கள்: உமது மகிமையிலே, எங்களில் ஒருவன் உமது வலதுபக்கத்திலும், ஒருவன் உமது இடதுபக்கத்திலும் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கும்படி எங்களுக்கு அருள்செய்யவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்.
And, they, said unto him—Grant us, that, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left, we may sit, in thy glory.
38 ௩௮ இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் கேட்பது என்ன என்று உங்களுக்கே தெரியவில்லை. நான் குடிக்கும் பாத்திரத்தில் நீங்கள் குடிக்கவும், நான் பெறும் ஸ்நானத்தை நீங்கள் பெறவும் உங்களால் முடியுமா என்றார்.
But, Jesus, said unto them—Ye know not what ye are asking: Are ye able to drink the cup that, I, am to drink? or to be immersed, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed?
39 ௩௯ அதற்கு அவர்கள்: முடியும் என்றார்கள். இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நான் குடிக்கும் பாத்திரத்தில் நீங்கள் குடிப்பீர்கள், நான் பெறும் ஸ்நானத்தையும் நீங்கள் பெறுவீர்கள்.
And, they, said unto him—We are able. And, Jesus, said unto them—The cup which, I, am to drink, ye shall drink, and, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed, shall ye be immersed;
40 ௪0 ஆனாலும் என் வலதுபக்கத்திலும் என் இடதுபக்கத்திலும் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கும்படி யாருக்கு ஆயத்தம்பண்ணப்பட்டிருக்கிறதோ அவர்களைத்தவிர, மற்றவர்களுக்கு அதை அருளுவது என் காரியமல்ல என்றார்.
But, to sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine to give, except unto them for whom it hath been prepared.
And the ten, hearing, began to be sorely displeased, concerning James and John.
42 ௪௨ அப்பொழுது, இயேசு அவர்களை அருகில் வரச்சொல்லி: யூதரல்லாதவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரிகளாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் அவர்களை ஆணவத்தோடு ஆளுகிறார்கள் என்றும், அவர்களில் பெரியவர்கள் அவர்கள்மேல் கடினமாக அதிகாரம் செலுத்துகிறார்கள் என்றும் நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்.
And Jesus, calling them near, saith unto them—Ye know that, they who think to rule the nations, lord it over them, and, their great ones, wield authority over them;
43 ௪௩ உங்களுக்குள்ளே அப்படி இருக்கக்கூடாது; உங்களில் யாராவது பெரியவனாக இருக்கவிரும்பினால், அவன் உங்களுக்குப் பணிவிடைக்காரனாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.
But, not so, it is, among you. But, whosoever desireth to become, great, among you, shall be, your minister,
44 ௪௪ உங்களில் யாராவது முதன்மையானவனாக இருக்கவிரும்பினால், அவன் எல்லோருக்கும் ஊழியக்காரனாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.
And, whosoever desireth, among you, to be, first, shall be, servant of all;
45 ௪௫ அப்படியே, மனிதகுமாரனும் மற்றவர்களிடம் ஊழியம் பெற வராமல், ஊழியம் செய்யவும், அநேகரை மீட்கத் தம்முடைய ஜீவனைக் கொடுக்கவும் வந்தார் என்றார்.
For, even the Son of Man, came not to be ministered unto, but minister, —and to give his life, a ransom instead of many.
46 ௪௬ பின்பு அவர்கள் எரிகோவிற்கு வந்தார்கள். அவரும் அவருடைய சீடர்களும் மக்கள் கூட்டமும் எரிகோவைவிட்டுப் புறப்படுகிறபோது, திமேயுவின் பார்வையற்ற மகனாகிய பர்திமேயு, வழியருகில் உட்கார்ந்து, பிச்சை கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.
And they come into Jericho. And, as he was journeying forth from Jericho, and his disciples, and a considerable multitude, the son of Timaeus, blind Bar-Timaeus, a beggar, was sitting beside the road.
47 ௪௭ அவன் நசரேயனாகிய இயேசு வருகிறார் என்று கேள்விப்பட்டு: இயேசுவே, தாவீதின் குமாரனே, எனக்கு இரங்கும் என்று சத்தமிட்டு கூப்பிடத் தொடங்கினான்.
And, hearing that it was, Jesus the Nazarene, he began to be crying aloud, and saying—O Son of David! Jesus! have mercy on me.
48 ௪௮ அவனை அமைதியாக இருக்கச்சொல்லி மக்கள் அவனை அதட்டினார்கள். அவனோ: தாவீதின் குமாரனே, எனக்கு இரங்கும் என்று முன்பைவிட அதிகமாக சத்தமிட்டு கூப்பிட்டான்.
And many were rebuking him, that he might hold his peace; but, he, so much the more, was crying aloud, O Son of David, have mercy on me.
49 ௪௯ இயேசு நின்று, அவனை அழைத்துவரச் சொன்னார். அவர்கள் அந்தப் பார்வையற்றவனை அழைத்து: திடன்கொள், எழுந்திரு, உன்னை அழைக்கிறார் என்றார்கள்.
And, coming to a stand, Jesus said—Call him! And they call the blind man, saying unto him—Take courage! rise! he calleth thee!
And, he, throwing off his mantle—springing to his feet, came unto Jesus.
51 ௫௧ இயேசு அவனைப் பார்த்து: நான் உனக்கு என்னசெய்யவேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகிறாய் என்றார். அதற்கு அந்தப் பார்வையற்றவன்: ஆண்டவரே, நான் பார்வைபெறவேண்டும் என்றான்.
And, answering him, Jesus said—What desirest thou, I should do for thee? And, the blind man, said unto him—Rabboni! that may recover sight.
52 ௫௨ இயேசு அவனைப் பார்த்து: நீ போகலாம், உன் விசுவாசம் உன்னை இரட்சித்தது என்றார். உடனே அவன் பார்வைபெற்று, வழியிலே இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றி அவர்பின்னே சென்றான்.
And, Jesus, said unto him—Go thy way! thy faith, hath saved thee. And, straightway, he recovered sight, and was following him in the road.
