Jesus spoke these things, raising His eyes to Heaven and saying: “Father, the hour has come! Glorify Your Son, so that Your Son also may glorify You,
2 ௨ பிதாவே, வேளை வந்தது, நீர் உம்முடைய குமாரனிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்ட அனைவருக்கும் அவர் நித்தியஜீவனைக் கொடுக்கும்படி மாம்சமான யாவர்மேலும் நீர் அவருக்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுத்தபடியே, உம்முடைய குமாரன் உம்மை மகிமைப்படுத்தும்படி நீர் உம்முடைய குமாரனை மகிமைப்படுத்தும். (aiōnios g166)
just as You gave Him authority over all humanity, so that He will give eternal life to all those whom You have given Him. (aiōnios g166)
3 ௩ ஒன்றான உண்மை தேவனாகிய உம்மையும் நீர் அனுப்பினவராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவையும் அறிவதே நித்தியஜீவன். (aiōnios g166)
Now eternal life is this: that they may know You, the only true God, and the One whom You sent—Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
4 ௪ பூமியிலே நான் உம்மை மகிமைப்படுத்தினேன்; நான் செய்யும்படி நீர் எனக்குக் கொடுத்த செயல்களைச் செய்துமுடித்தேன்.
I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work that You have given me to do.
5 ௫ பிதாவே, உலகம் உண்டாகிறதற்கு முன்னே உம்மிடத்தில் எனக்கு உண்டாயிருந்த மகிமையினால் இப்பொழுது நீர் என்னை உம்மிடத்திலே மகிமைப்படுத்தும்.
So now, Father, You glorify me by Your side with the glory that I had along with You before the world existed!
6 ௬ நீர் உலகத்தில் தெரிந்தெடுத்து எனக்குத் தந்த மனிதர்களுக்கு உம்முடைய நாமத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தினேன். அவர்கள் உம்முடையவர்களாக இருந்தார்கள், அவர்களை எனக்குக் கொடுத்தீர், அவர்கள் உம்முடைய வார்த்தையை கடைபிடித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
“I have revealed Your name to the men whom You have given me out of the world. They were Yours and You gave them to me, and they have kept Your word.
They now know that everything You have given to me is from You;
8 ௮ நீர் எனக்குக் கொடுத்த வார்த்தைகளை நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்; அவர்கள் அவைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, நான் உம்மிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுவந்தேன் என்று நிச்சயமாக அறிந்து, நீர் என்னை அனுப்பினீர் என்று விசுவாசித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
because I have given them the sayings which You have given to me; and they have received and known for sure that I came forth from You, and they have believed that You sent me.
9 ௯ நான் அவர்களுக்காக வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்; உலகத்துக்காக வேண்டிக்கொள்ளாமல், நீர் எனக்குத் தந்தவர்களுக்காக வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்; அவர்கள் உம்முடையவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்களே.
I am praying for them; I am not praying for the world but for those whom You have given me, because they are yours.
10 ௧0 என்னுடையவைகள் யாவும் உம்முடையவைகள், உம்முடையவைகள் என்னுடையவைகள்; அவர்களில் நான் மகிமைப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன்.
Actually, all my things are Yours and Yours are mine, and I have been glorified in them.
11 ௧௧ நான் இனி உலகத்தில் இருக்கப்போவதில்லை, இவர்கள் உலகத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; நான் உம்மிடத்திற்கு வருகிறேன். பரிசுத்த பிதாவே, நீர் எனக்குத் தந்தவர்கள் நம்மைப்போல ஒன்றாக இருக்கும்படிக்கு, நீர் அவர்களை உம்முடைய நாமத்தினாலே காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
Now I am no longer in the world, yet these are in the world, and I am coming to You. “Holy Father, keep them in Your name which You have given to me, so that they may be one just as we are.
12 ௧௨ நான் அவர்களோடு உலகத்தில் இருக்கும்போது அவர்களை உம்முடைய நாமத்தினாலே காத்துக்கொண்டேன்; நீர் எனக்குத் தந்தவர்களைக் காத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தேன்; வேதவாக்கியம் நிறைவேறத்தக்கதாக, அழிவின் மகன் கெட்டுப்போனானே அல்லாமல், அவர்களில் ஒருவனும் கெட்டுப்போகவில்லை.
While I was with them in the world I kept them in Your name. I protected those whom You gave me, and not one of them was lost except the son of perdition, so that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
13 ௧௩ இப்பொழுது நான் உம்மிடத்திற்கு வருகிறேன்; அவர்கள் என் சந்தோஷத்தை நிறைவாக அடையும்படி உலகத்தில் இருக்கும்போது இவைகளைச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
But now I am coming to You, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy made full in them.
14 ௧௪ நான் உம்முடைய வார்த்தையை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்; நான் உலகத்தான் இல்லாததுபோல அவர்களும் உலகத்தார் இல்லை; ஆதலால் உலகம் அவர்களைப் பகைத்தது.
“I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
15 ௧௫ நீர் அவர்களை உலகத்திலிருந்து எடுத்துக்கொள்ளும்படி நான் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளாமல், நீர் அவர்களைத் தீமையில் இருந்து காக்கும்படி வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the malignant one.
They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
Sanctify them by Your Truth; Your Word is Truth.
Just as You sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19 ௧௯ அவர்களும் சத்தியத்தினாலே பரிசுத்தம் ஆக்கப்பட்டவர்களாக ஆகும்படி, அவர்களுக்காக நான் என்னைத்தானே பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிறேன்.
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.
20 ௨0 நான் இவர்களுக்காக வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறதும் இல்லாமல், இவர்களுடைய வார்த்தையினால் என்னை விசுவாசிக்கிறவர்களுக்காகவும், வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
“I pray not only for these, but also for those who believe into me through their word;
21 ௨௧ அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் ஒன்றாக இருக்கவும், பிதாவே, நீர் என்னை அனுப்பினதை உலகம் விசுவாசிக்கிறதற்காக, நீர் என்னிலேயும் நான் உம்மிலேயும் இருக்கிறதுபோல அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் நம்மில் ஒன்றாக இருக்கவும் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
that they all may be one, just as You, Father, are in me and I in You; that in Us they also may be one, so that the world may believe that You sent me.
22 ௨௨ நாம் ஒன்றாக இருக்கிறதுபோல அவர்களும் ஒன்றாக இருக்கும்படி, நீர் எனக்குத் தந்த மகிமையை நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்.
In fact, the glory that You gave to me I have given to them, so that they may be one just as We are one:
23 ௨௩ ஒருமைப்பாட்டில் அவர்கள் தேறினவர்களாக இருக்கும்படி, என்னை நீர் அனுப்பினதையும், நீர் என்னில் அன்பாக இருக்கிறதுபோல அவர்களிலும் அன்பாக இருக்கிறதையும் உலகம் அறியும்படி, நான் அவர்களிலும் நீர் என்னிலும் இருக்கும்படி வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
I in them and You in me, so that they may be perfected into one; also so that the world may know that You sent me, and have loved them just as You have loved me.
24 ௨௪ பிதாவே, உலகத்தோற்றத்திற்கு முன் நீர் என்னில் அன்பாக இருந்தபடியினால், நீர் எனக்குத் தந்த என்னுடைய மகிமையை நீர் எனக்குத் தந்தவர்கள் பார்க்கும்படியாக, நான் எங்கே இருக்கிறேனோ அங்கே அவர்களும் என்னுடனே இருக்கவிரும்புகிறேன்.
“Father, those whom You have given to me, I desire that they also may be with me where I am, so that they may observe my glory, which You have given me, because You loved me before the founding of the world.
25 ௨௫ நீதியுள்ள பிதாவே, உலகம் உம்மை அறியவில்லை, நான் உம்மை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; நீர் என்னை அனுப்பினதை இவர்களும் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
Righteous Father! Indeed the world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent me.
26 ௨௬ நீர் என்னிடத்தில் வைத்த அன்பு அவர்களிடத்தில் இருக்கும்படிக்கும், நானும் அவர்களில் இருக்கும்படிக்கும், உம்முடைய நாமத்தை அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தினேன்; இன்னமும் தெரியப்படுத்துவேன் என்றார்.
Yes, I have made Your name known to them and will make it known, so that the love with which You have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
