யோவான் 16
“I have spoken these things to you to avoid your being caused to stumble
2 ௨ அவர்கள் உங்களை ஜெப ஆலயங்களுக்கு புறம்பாக்குவார்கள்; மேலும் உங்களைக் கொலைசெய்கிறவன் தான் தேவனுக்கு ஊழியம் செய்கிறவன் என்று நினைக்கும் காலம் வரும்.
—they will excommunicate you; indeed, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering God service!
And they will do these things because they have not known either the Father or me.
4 ௪ அந்தக் காலம் வரும்போது நான் இவைகளை உங்களுக்குச் சொன்னேன் என்று நீங்கள் நினைக்கும்படி இவைகளை உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லி இருக்கிறேன்; நான் உங்களோடு இருந்ததினால் ஆரம்பத்திலே இவைகளை உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லவில்லை.
Now I have told you these things so that when the time comes you may remember that I told you about them; I did not tell you these things from the beginning because I was with you.
5 ௫ இப்பொழுது நான் என்னை அனுப்பினவர் இடத்திற்குப் போகிறேன்; எங்கே போகிறீர் என்று உங்களில் ஒருவனும் என்னைக் கேட்கவில்லை.
“Now then, I am going away to Him who sent me, yet none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’
But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.
7 ௭ நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்லுகிறேன்; நான் போகிறது உங்களுக்கு நன்மையாக இருக்கும்; நான் போகாதிருந்தால் தேற்றரவாளன் உங்களிடம் வரமாட்டார்; நான் போனால் அவரை உங்களிடத்திற்கு அனுப்புவேன்.
Nevertheless I am telling you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, because if I do not go away the Enabler will not come to you, but if I do go I will send Him to you.
8 ௮ அவர் வந்து, பாவத்தைக்குறித்தும், நீதியைக்குறித்தும், நியாயத்தீர்ப்பைக்குறித்தும், உலகத்தைக் கண்டித்து உணர்த்துவார்.
“Now when He comes he will convict the world about sin and about righteousness and about judgment:
first about sin, because they do not believe into me;
10 ௧0 நீங்கள் இனி என்னைப் பார்க்காதபடிக்கு நான் என் பிதாவினிடத்திற்குப் போகிறபடியினாலே நீதியைக்குறித்தும்,
then about righteousness, because I am going away to my Father and you will no longer see me;
11 ௧௧ இந்த உலகத்தின் தலைவன் நியாயந்தீர்க்கப்பட்டதினாலே நியாயத்தீர்ப்பைக்குறித்தும், கண்டித்து உணர்த்துவார்.
then about judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
12 ௧௨ இன்னும் அநேக காரியங்களை நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாக இருக்கிறது, அவைகளை நீங்கள் இப்பொழுது தாங்கமாட்டீர்கள்.
“I still have many things to say to you but you cannot bear it now.
13 ௧௩ சத்திய ஆவியாகிய அவர் வரும்போது, எல்லா சத்தியத்திற்குள்ளும் உங்களை நடத்துவார்; அவர் தம்முடைய சொந்தமாக பேசாமல், தாம் கேள்விப்பட்டவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் சொல்லி, வரப்போகிற காரியங்களை உங்களுக்குத் தெரிவிப்பார்.
However, when He, the Spirit of the Truth, has come, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but He will speak whatever He hears. He will also communicate to you the things that are coming.
He will glorify me because He will take of what is mine and communicate it to you.
15 ௧௫ பிதாவினுடையவைகள் அனைத்தும் என்னுடையவைகள்; அதினாலே அவர் என்னுடையதில் எடுத்து உங்களுக்குத் தெரிவிப்பார் என்றேன்.
All that the Father has is mine; that is why I said that He takes from what is mine and will communicate it to you.
16 ௧௬ நான் பிதாவினிடத்திற்குப் போகிறபடியினால் கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே என்னைக் காணாதிருப்பீர்கள், மீண்டும் கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே என்னைக் காண்பீர்கள் என்றார்.
“In just a little you will not see me, and in another little you will see me, because I am going to the Father.”
17 ௧௭ அப்பொழுது அவருடைய சீடர்களில் சிலர்: நான் பிதாவினிடத்திற்குப் போகிறபடியினால், கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே என்னைக் காணாதிருப்பீர்கள் என்றும், மறுபடியும் கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே என்னைக் காண்பீர்கள் என்றும் அவர் நம்முடனே சொல்லுகிறதின் கருத்து என்ன என்று தங்களுக்குள்ளே பேசிக்கொண்டதும் அல்லாமல்:
Then some of His disciples said among themselves: “What is this that He is telling us, ‘In just a little you will not see me, and in another little you will see me,’ and because ‘I am going to the Father’?”
18 ௧௮ கொஞ்சக்காலம் என்கிறாரே, இதென்ன? அவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்ன என்று நமக்குப் புரியவில்லையே என்றார்கள்.
So they said: “What is this ‘little’ that He mentions? We do not know what He is talking about.”
19 ௧௯ அதைக்குறித்துத் தம்மிடத்தில் கேட்கும்படி அவர்கள் விரும்புகிறதை இயேசு அறிந்து, அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே என்னைக் காணாதிருப்பீர்கள், மறுபடியும் கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே என்னைக் காண்பீர்கள் என்று நான் சொன்னதைக்குறித்து நீங்கள் உங்களுக்குள்ளே விசாரிக்கிறீர்களோ?
Well Jesus knew that they were wanting to question Him and said to them: “Are you inquiring among yourselves about what I said, ‘In just a little you will not see me, and in another little you will see me’?
20 ௨0 உண்மையாகவே உண்மையாகவே நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்: நீங்கள் அழுது புலம்புவீர்கள், உலகமோ சந்தோஷப்படும்; நீங்கள் துக்கப்படுவீர்கள், ஆனாலும் உங்களுடைய துக்கம் சந்தோஷமாக மாறும்.
Most assuredly I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will become grieved, but your grief will be turned into joy.
21 ௨௧ பெண்ணானவளுக்குப் பிரசவநேரம் வரும்போது அவள் துக்கமடைகிறாள்; பிள்ளை பெற்றவுடனே ஒரு மனிதன் உலகத்தில் பிறந்தான் என்கிற சந்தோஷத்தினால் பின்பு உபத்திரவத்தை நினைக்கமாட்டாள்.
When a woman gives birth she has pain, because her time has come; but when the child is born she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.
22 ௨௨ அதுபோல நீங்களும் இப்பொழுது துக்கமடைந்து இருக்கிறீர்கள். நான் மீண்டும் உங்களைக் காண்பேன், அப்பொழுது உங்களுடைய இருதயம் சந்தோஷப்படும், உங்களுடைய சந்தோஷத்தை ஒருவனும் உங்களிடமிருந்து எடுத்துப்போடுவதில்லை.
So in your turn you are now experiencing grief, but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
23 ௨௩ அந்த நாளிலே நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் ஒன்றும் கேட்கமாட்டீர்கள். உண்மையாகவே உண்மையாகவே நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன், நீங்கள் என் நாமத்தினாலே பிதாவினிடத்தில் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுவது எதுவோ அதை அவர் உங்களுக்குத் தருவார்.
In that day you will not question me about anything. “Most assuredly I say to you that whatever you ask the Father in my name He will give you.
24 ௨௪ இதுவரைக்கும் நீங்கள் என் நாமத்தினாலே ஒன்றும் கேட்கவில்லை; கேளுங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்களுடைய சந்தோஷம் நிறைவாக இருக்கும்படி பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுவீர்கள்.
Until now you have not asked anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.
25 ௨௫ இவைகளை நான் உவமைகளாக உங்களோடு பேசுகிறேன்; காலம் வரும், அப்பொழுது நான் உவமைகளாக உங்களோடு பேசாமல், பிதாவைக்குறித்து வெளிப்படையாக உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்.
“I have told you these things using figures of speech, but a time is coming when I will no longer talk to you with figures of speech; rather I will tell you plainly about the Father.
26 ௨௬ அந்த நாளில் நீங்கள் என் நாமத்தினாலே கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுவீர்கள். உங்களுக்காகப் பிதாவை நான் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுவேன் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதில்லை.
In that day you will ask in my name; I do not say to you that I will request the Father on your behalf,
27 ௨௭ நீங்கள் என்னை நேசித்தத்தினால், நான் தேவனிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுவந்தேன் என்று விசுவாசிக்கிறபடியினால் பிதா தாமே உங்களை நேசிக்கிறார்.
because the Father Himself is fond of you, in that you have become fond of me and have believed that I came forth from God.
28 ௨௮ நான் பிதாவினிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு உலகத்திலே வந்தேன்; மறுபடியும் உலகத்தைவிட்டுப் பிதாவினிடத்திற்குப் போகிறேன் என்றார்.
I did come forth from the Father and have come into the world. I am leaving the world again and am going to the Father.”
29 ௨௯ அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அவரைப் பார்த்து: இதோ, இப்பொழுது நீர் உவமையாகப் பேசாமல், வெளிப்படையாக பேசுகிறீர்.
His disciples say to Him: “Hey, now you are speaking plainly and using no figure of speech!
30 ௩0 நீர் எல்லாவற்றையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர் என்றும், ஒருவன் உம்மை கேள்வி கேட்க தேவை இல்லை என்றும், இப்பொழுது அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்; இதினாலே நீர் தேவனிடத்திலிருந்து வந்தீர் என்று விசுவாசிக்கிறோம் என்றார்கள்.
Now we know that you know everything and don't need anyone to question you. By this we believe that you came forth from God.”
Jesus answered them: “Do you believe now, really?
32 ௩௨ இதோ, நீங்கள் சிதறுண்டு, அவனவன் தன்தன் இடத்திற்குப்போய், என்னைத் தனியே விட்டு விடும் காலம் வரும்; அது இப்பொழுது வந்திருக்கிறது; ஆனாலும் நான் தனிமையாக இருக்கமாட்டேன், பிதா என்னோடு இருக்கிறார்.
Listen, an hour is coming, actually it has already arrived, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 ௩௩ என்னிடத்தில் உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் உண்டாகும்படி இவைகளை உங்களுக்குச் சொன்னேன். உலகத்தில் உங்களுக்கு உபத்திரவம் உண்டு, ஆனாலும் திடன்கொள்ளுங்கள்; நான் உலகத்தை ஜெயித்துவிட்டேன் என்றார்.
I have spoken these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but take heart, I have conquered the world!”
