யோவேல் 3
1 ௧ இதோ, யூதாவிற்கும் எருசலேமிற்கும் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கிற சிறையிருப்பை நான் திருப்பும் அந்நாட்களிலும் அக்காலத்திலும்,
For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I will cause to return the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 ௨ நான் எல்லா தேசத்தாரையும் கூட்டி, யோசபாத்தின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே அவர்களை இறங்கிப்போகச் செய்வேன், அவர்கள் என் மக்களையும் இஸ்ரவேலென்னும் என் பங்கையும் அந்நியமக்களுக்குள்ளே சிதறடித்து என் தேசத்தைப் பங்கிட்டுக்கொண்டதினால்,
Then will I assemble all the nations, and I will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and I will hold judgment with them there because of my people and my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and for my land [which] they have divided out.
3 ௩ அவர்கள் என் மக்கள்பேரில் சீட்டுப்போட்டு, ஆண்குழந்தைகளை விபச்சாரிகளுக்கு விலையாகக் கொடுத்து, மதுபானம் குடிப்பதற்காக பெண் குழந்தைகளைத் திராட்சைரசத்திற்கு விலையாகக் கொடுத்ததினாலும், அங்கே அவர்களோடு வழக்காடுவேன்.
And for my people did they cast lots; and gave a boy for a harlot, and sold a girl for wine, and drank it.
4 ௪ தீருவே, சீதோனே, பெலிஸ்தியாவின் அனைத்து எல்லைகளே, உங்களுக்கும் எனக்கும் என்ன? இப்படி எனக்குச் சரிக்கட்டுகிறீர்களோ? இப்படி எனக்குச் சரிக்கட்டுவீர்களாகில், நான் தாமதமில்லாமல் மிகவேகமாக நீங்கள் சரிகட்டுகிறதை உங்கள் தலையின்மேல் திரும்பும்படிச் செய்வேன்.
And also ye, what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all ye districts of Philistia? is this the recompense which ye repay me? or do ye only commence to render me evil?— swiftly and speedily will I bring back your recompense upon your own head;
5 ௫ நீங்கள் என்னுடைய வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் எடுத்து, இன்பமும் உயர்ந்ததுமான என் பொருட்களை உங்கள் கோவில்களிலே கொண்டுபோய்,
Because my silver and my gold have ye taken, and the handsomest of my precious things have ye carried into your temples;
6 ௬ யூதாவின் மக்களையும் எருசலேமின் மக்களையும் அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளுக்குத் தூரமாக்கும்படிக்கு, கிரேக்கரிடத்தில் விற்றுப்போட்டீர்கள்.
And the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the sons of the Jevanim, in order to remove them far from their borders.
7 ௭ இதோ, நீங்கள் அவர்களை விற்றுப்போட்ட அவ்விடத்திலிருந்து நான் அவர்களை எழும்பிவரச்செய்து, நீங்கள் சரிக்கட்டினதை உங்கள் தலையின்மேல் திரும்பும்படி செய்து,
Behold, I will awaken them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and I will bring back your recompense upon your own head;
8 ௮ உங்கள் மகன்களையும், மகள்களையும் யூதா மக்களின் கையிலே விற்பேன்; இவர்கள் அவர்களைத் தூரதேசத்தார்களாகிய சபேயரிடத்தில் விற்றுப்போடுவார்கள்; யெகோவா இதைச் சொன்னார்.
And I will deliver your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a nation far off; for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 ௯ இதை அந்நியமக்களுக்குள்ளே அறிவியுங்கள்; போருக்கு ஆயத்தம்செய்யுங்கள்; பராக்கிரமசாலிகளை எழுப்புங்கள்; போர்வீரர்கள் எல்லோரும் சேர்ந்து ஏறிவரட்டும்.
Proclaim ye this among the nations, Prepare war, wake up the mighty men; let them draw near; let them come up—all the men of war.
10 ௧0 உங்கள் மண்வெட்டிகளைப் பட்டயங்களாகவும், உங்கள் அரிவாள்களை ஈட்டிகளாகவும் அடியுங்கள்; பலவீனனும் தன்னைப் பலவான் என்று சொல்வானாக.
Beat your plough-shares into swords, and your pruning-knives into spears: let the weak say, I am a hero.
11 ௧௧ சகல மக்களே, நீங்கள் சுற்றிலுமிருந்து ஒன்றாக வந்து கூடுங்கள்; யெகோவாவே, நீரும் அங்கே உம்முடைய பராக்கிரமசாலிகளை இறங்கிவரச்செய்வீராக.
Assemble hastily together, and come, all ye nations from every side, and gather yourselves together: there doth the Lord strike down thy mighty ones.
12 ௧௨ மக்கள் எழும்பி யோசபாத்தின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிற்கு வருவார்களாக; சுற்றிலுமுள்ள மக்களை நியாயந்தீர்க்க அங்கே நான் வீற்றிருப்பேன்.
Let the nations awake, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the nations from every side.
13 ௧௩ பயிர் முற்றியது, அரிவாளை நீட்டி அறுங்கள், வந்து இறங்குங்கள்; ஆலை நிரம்பியிருக்கிறது, ஆலையின் தொட்டிகள் வழிந்தோடுகிறது; அவர்களுடைய ஒழுக்கக்கேடு பெரியது.
Put forth the sickle; for the harvest is ripe: come, tread down [the grapes]; for the press is full; the vats overflow; for great is their wickedness.
14 ௧௪ நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே மக்கள் திரள்திரளாக இருக்கிறார்கள்; நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே யெகோவாவின் நாள் சமீபமாயிருக்கிறது.
Multitudes, multitudes are in the valley of decision; for near is the day of the Lord in the valley of decision.
Sun and moon are obscured, and stars withdraw their brightness.
16 ௧௬ யெகோவா சீயோனிலிருந்து கெர்ச்சித்து, எருசலேமிலிருந்து சத்தமிடுவார்; வானமும் பூமியும் அதிரும்; ஆனாலும் யெகோவா தமது மக்களுக்கு அடைக்கலமும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு பாதுகாப்பான கோட்டையுமாக இருப்பார்.
And the Lord will cry aloud out of Zion, and from Jerusalem will he send forth his voice; and the heavens and the earth shall quake; but the Lord will be a refuge for his people, and a stronghold for the children of Israel.
17 ௧௭ என் பரிசுத்த மலையாகிய சீயோனிலே வாசமாயிருக்கிற நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா என்று அப்பொழுது அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்; அப்பொழுது எருசலேம் பரிசுத்தமாக இருக்கும்; அந்நியர்கள் இனி அதைக் கடந்துபோவதில்லை.
So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God, dwelling on Zion, my holy mount: and Jerusalem shall be holy, and strangers shall not pass through her any more.
18 ௧௮ அக்காலத்தில் மலைகள் திராட்சைரசத்தைப் பொழியும், மலைகள் பாலாக ஓடும், யூதாவின் ஆறுகள் எல்லாம் கரைபுரண்டு ஓடும்; ஒரு ஊற்று யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு சித்தீம் என்னும் பள்ளத்தாக்கை நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலாக்கும்.
And it came to pass on that day, that the mountains shall drop down sweet new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the ravines of Judah shall flow with water; and a spring shall come forth out of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19 ௧௯ யூதா மக்களின் தேசத்திலே குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தி, அவர்களுக்குச் செய்த கொடுமையின் காரணமாக எகிப்து பாழாய்ப்போகும், ஏதோம் பாழான வனாந்திரமாகும்.
Egypt shall become a desolate land, and Edom shall become a desolate wilderness; because of the violence against the children of Judah, in whose land they have shed innocent blood.
But Judah shall be inhabited for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 ௨௧ நான் தண்டிக்காமல் விட்டிருந்த அவர்களுடைய இரத்தப்பழியை தண்டிக்காமல் விடமாட்டேன்; யெகோவா சீயோனிலே வாசமாயிருக்கிறார்.
And I will avenge their blood that I have not yet avenged; for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.
