யோவேல் 1
[the] word of Yahweh which it came to Joel [the] son of Pethuel.
2 ௨ முதியோர்களே, இதைக் கேளுங்கள்; தேசத்தின் அனைத்துக் குடிமக்களே, செவிகொடுங்கள்; உங்கள் நாட்களிலாவது உங்கள் முன்னோர்களின் நாட்களிலாவது இப்படிப்பட்டது சம்பவித்ததுண்டா?
Hear this O elders and give ear O all [the] inhabitants of the land ¿ has it happened this in days your and or? in [the] days of ancestors your.

On it to children your recount and children your to children their and children their to a generation another.

5 ௫ மது வெறியர்களே, விழித்து அழுங்கள்; திராட்சைரசம் குடிக்கிற அனைத்து மக்களே, புது திராட்சைரசத்திற்காக அலறுங்கள்; அது உங்கள் வாயிலிருந்து அகற்றப்பட்டது.
Awake O drunkards and weep and wail O all drinkers of wine on sweet wine for it has been cut off from mouth your.
6 ௬ எண்ணிமுடியாத ஒரு பெரும் மக்கள்கூட்டம் என் தேசத்தின்மேல் வருகிறது; அதின் பற்கள் சிங்கத்தின் பற்கள்; கொடிய சிங்கத்தின் கடைவாய்ப்பற்கள் அதற்கு உண்டு.
For a nation it has come up on land my mighty and there not [is] number teeth its [are the] teeth of a lion and [the] fangs of a lioness [belong] to it.

It has been cut off grain offering and drink offering from [the] house of Yahweh they are in mourning the priests [the] servants of Yahweh.
10 ௧0 வயல்வெளி பாழானது, பூமி துக்கம் கொண்டாடுகிறது; விளைச்சல் அழிக்கப்பட்டது; புது திராட்சைரசம் வற்றிப்போனது; எண்ணெய் தீர்ந்துபோனது.
It is devastated [the] field[s] it is dried up [the] ground for it is devastated [the] grain it has dried up [the] new wine it has dried out [the] fresh oil.
11 ௧௧ பயிரிடும் குடிமக்களே, வெட்கப்படுங்கள்; கோதுமையும், வாற்கோதுமையும் இல்லாமற்போனது; திராட்சைத்தோட்டக்காரர்களே, அலறுங்கள்; வயல்வெளியின் அறுப்பு அழிந்துபோனது.
Be ashamed O farmers wail O vinedressers on [the] wheat and on [the] barley for it has perished [the] harvest of [the] field.
12 ௧௨ திராட்சைச்செடி வதங்கி, அத்திமரம் சாரமற்றுப்போகிறது; மாதுளை, பேரீச்சம், கிச்சிலி முதலிய தோட்டத்தின் செடிகள் எல்லாம் வாடிப்போனது; சந்தோஷம் மனுக்குலத்தைவிட்டு ஒழிந்துபோனது.
The vine it has dried up and the fig tree it has dried out [the] pomegranate tree also [the] palm tree and [the] apple tree all [the] trees of the field they have dried up for it has been ashamed joy from [the] children of humankind.
13 ௧௩ ஆசாரியர்களே, சணல் ஆடையை அணிந்து புலம்புங்கள்; பலிபீடத்தின் பணிவிடைக்காரர்களே, அலறுங்கள்; என் தேவனுடைய ஊழியக்காரர்களே, நீங்கள் உள்ளே நுழைந்து சணல் ஆடையை அணிந்தவர்களாக இரவு தங்குங்கள். உங்கள் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தில் உணவுபலியும் பானபலியும் செலுத்தப்படாமல் நிறுத்தப்பட்டது.
Gird yourselves and lament O priests wail O servants of [the] altar come spend [the] night in sackcloth O servants of God my for it has been withheld from [the] house of God your grain offering and drink offering.
14 ௧௪ பரிசுத்த உபவாசநாளை ஏற்படுத்துங்கள்; விசேஷித்த ஆசரிப்பை அறிவியுங்கள்; மூப்பர்களையும் தேசத்தின் எல்லா குடிமக்களையும், உங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவின் ஆலயத்திலே கூடிவரச்செய்து யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுங்கள்.
Consecrate a fast call an assembly gather [the] elders all [the] inhabitants of the land [the] house of Yahweh God your and cry out to Yahweh.
15 ௧௫ அந்த பயங்கரமான நாளுக்காக ஐயோ, யெகோவாவுடைய நியயதீர்ப்பின் நாள், சமீபமாயிருக்கிறது; அது அழிவைப்போல சர்வ வல்ல தேவனிடத்திலிருந்து வருகிறது.
Alas! for the day for [is] near [the] day of Yahweh and like devastation from [the] Almighty it will come.
16 ௧௬ நம்முடைய கண்களைவிட்டு ஆகாரமும், நம்முடைய தேவனின் ஆலயத்தைவிட்டுச் சந்தோஷமும் மகிழ்ச்சியும் நீக்கப்படவில்லையோ?
¿ Not before eyes our food has it been cut off from [the] house of God our joy and rejoicing.
17 ௧௭ விதையானது மண்கட்டிகளின் கீழ் மக்கிப்போனது; பயிர் காய்ந்துபோகிறதினால் கிடங்குகள் பாழாகிக் களஞ்சியங்கள் இடிந்துபோனது.
They have shriveled [the] seeds under shovels their they are desolate [the] storehouses they have been torn down [the] granaries for it has dried up [the] grain.
18 ௧௮ மிருகங்கள் எவ்வளவாகத் தவிக்கிறது; மாட்டுமந்தைகள் தங்களுக்கு மேய்ச்சல் இல்லாததினால் கலங்குகிறது; ஆட்டுமந்தைகளும் சேதமானது.
How! it has groaned [the] livestock they have wandered in confusion [the] herds of cattle for not pasture [belongs] to them also [the] flocks of sheep they have suffered.
19 ௧௯ யெகோவாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; நெருப்பு வனாந்திரத்தின் மேய்ச்சல்களை அழித்தது, நெருப்புத்தழல் தோட்டத்தின் மரங்களையெல்லாம் எரித்துப்போடுகிறது.
To you O Yahweh I call for fire it has consumed [the] pastures of [the] wilderness and a flame it has set ablaze all [the] trees of the field.
20 ௨0 வெளியின் மிருகங்களும் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கதறுகிறது; நதிகளில் தண்ணீரெல்லாம் வற்றிப்போனது; நெருப்பு வனாந்திரத்தின் மேய்ச்சல்களை அழித்துப்போட்டது.
Also [the] animals of [the] field it pants to you for they have dried up [the] channels of water and fire it has consumed [the] pastures of the wilderness.
