யோபு 41

1 ௧ “லிவியாதானை தூண்டிலைக்கொண்டு பிடிக்கமுடியுமோ? அதின் நாக்கை நீ விடுகிற கயிற்றினாலே பிடிக்கமுடியுமோ?

Canst thou drawe out Liuiathan with an hooke, and with a line which thou shalt cast downe vnto his tongue?

2 ௨ அதின் மூக்கை நார்க்கயிறு போட்டுக் கட்டமுடியுமோ? குறட்டினால் அதின் தாடையை உருவக் குத்தமுடியுமோ?

Canst thou cast an hooke into his nose? canst thou perce his iawes with an angle?

3 ௩ அது உன்னைப் பார்த்து அநேக விண்ணப்பம் செய்யுமோ? உன்னை நோக்கி ஆசைவார்த்தைகளைச் சொல்லுமோ?

Will he make many prayers vnto thee, or speake thee faire?

4 ௪ அது உன்னுடன் உடன்படிக்கை செய்யுமோ? அதை எல்லா நாட்களும் அடிமைப்படுத்துவாயோ?

Will hee make a couenant with thee? and wilt thou take him as a seruant for euer?

5 ௫ ஒரு குருவியுடன் விளையாடுகிறதுபோல், நீ அதனுடன் விளையாடி, அதை நீ உன் பெண்களுக்கு அருகில் கட்டிவைப்பாயோ?

Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bynd him for thy maydes?

6 ௬ மீனவர்கள் அதைப் பிடிக்க முயற்சி செய்து, அதை வியாபாரிகளுக்குப் பங்கிடுவார்களோ?

Shall the companions baket with him? shall they deuide him among the marchants?

7 ௭ நீ அதின் தோலை அநேக அம்புகளினாலும், அதின் தலையை எறிவல்லையங்களினாலும் எறிவாயோ?

Canst thou fill the basket with his skinne? or the fishpanier with his head?

8 ௮ அதின்மேல் உன் கையைப்போடு, யுத்தத்தை நினைத்துக்கொள்; இனி அப்படிச் செய்யத் துணியமாட்டாய்.

Lay thine hand vpon him: remember the battel, and do no more so.

9 ௯ இதோ, அதைப் பிடிக்கலாம் என்று நம்பினவன் மோசம்போய், அதைப் பார்த்தவுடனே விழுவான் அல்லவோ?

Behold, his hope is in vaine: for shall not one perish euen at the sight of him?

10 ௧0 அதை எழுப்பக்கூடிய தைரியவான் இல்லாதிருக்க, எனக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பவன் யார்?

None is so fearce that dare stirre him vp. Who is he then that can stand before me?

11 ௧௧ தனக்குப் பதில்கொடுக்கப்படும்படி, முந்தி எனக்குக் கொடுத்தவன் யார்? வானத்தின் கீழுள்ளவைகள் எல்லாம் என்னுடையவைகள்.

Who hath preuented mee that I shoulde make an ende? Al vnder heauen is mine.

12 ௧௨ அதின் உறுப்புகளும், அதின் வீரியமும், அதின் உடல் இசைவின் அழகும் இன்னதென்று நான் சொல்லாமல் மறைக்கமாட்டேன்.

I will not keepe silence concerning his partes, nor his power nor his comely proportion.

13 ௧௩ அது மூடியிருக்கிற அதின் போர்வையைக் எடுக்கக்கூடியவன் யார்? அதின் இரண்டு தாடைகளின் நடுவே கடிவாளம் போடத்தக்கவன் யார்?

Who can discouer the face of his garmet? or who shall come to him with a double bridle?

14 ௧௪ அதின் முகத்தின் கதவைத் திறக்கக்கூடியவன் யார்? சுற்றிலுமிருக்கிற அதின் பற்கள் பயங்கரமானவைகள்.

Who shall open the doores of his face? his teeth are fearefull round about.

15 ௧௫ முத்திரைப் பதிப்புபோல அழுத்தங்கொண்டு அடர்த்தியாயிருக்கிற அதின் கேடகங்களின் அமைப்பு மகா சிறப்பாயிருக்கிறது.

The maiestie of his scales is like strog shields, and are sure sealed.

16 ௧௬ அவைகள் நடுவே காற்றும் நுழையமுடியாமல் நெருக்கமாக அவைகள் ஒன்றோடொன்று இணைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

One is set to another, that no winde can come betweene them.

17 ௧௭ அவைகள் ஒன்றோடொன்று ஒட்டிக்கொண்டு இணைபிரியாமல் பிடித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

One is ioyned to another: they sticke together, that they cannot be sundered.

18 ௧௮ அது தும்மும்போது ஒளி வீசும், அதின் கண்கள் சூரியஉதயத்தின் புருவங்களைப்போல இருக்கிறது.

His niesings make the light to shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.

19 ௧௯ அதின் வாயிலிருந்து எரிகிற பந்தங்கள் புறப்பட்டு, நெருப்புப்பொறிகள் பறக்கும்.

Out of his mouth go lampes, and sparkes of fire leape out.

20 ௨0 கொதிக்கிற சட்டியிலும் கொப்பரையிலும் இருந்து புறப்படுகிறதுபோல, அதின் மூக்கிலிருந்து புகை புறப்படும்.

Out of his nostrels commeth out smoke, as out of a boyling pot or caldron.

21 ௨௧ அதின் சுவாசம் கரிகளைக் கொளுத்தும், அதின் வாயிலிருந்து தணல் புறப்படும்.

His breath maketh the coales burne: for a flame goeth out of his mouth.

22 ௨௨ அதின் கழுத்திலே பெலன் குடிகொண்டிருக்கும்; பயங்கரம் அதற்குமுன் நடனமாடும்.

In his necke remayneth strength, and labour is reiected before his face.

23 ௨௩ அதின் உடல் அடுக்குகள், அசையாத கெட்டியாக ஒன்றோடொன்று ஒட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்.

The members of his bodie are ioyned: they are strong in themselues, and cannot be mooued.

24 ௨௪ அதின் நெஞ்சு கல்லைப்போலவும், எந்திரத்தின் அடிக்கல்லைப்போலவும் கெட்டியாயிருக்கும்.

His heart is as strong as a stone, and as hard as the nether milstone.

25 ௨௫ அது எழும்பும்போது பலசாலிகள் பயத்தினால் மயங்கித் திகைப்பார்கள்.

The mightie are afrayd of his maiestie, and for feare they faint in themselues.

26 ௨௬ அதைத் தாக்குகிறவனுடைய பட்டயம், ஈட்டி, வல்லையம், கவசம், ஒன்றும் அதற்குமுன் நிற்காது.

When the sword doeth touch him, he will not rise vp, nor for the speare, dart nor habergeon.

27 ௨௭ அது இரும்பை வைக்கோலாகவும், வெண்கலத்தை உளுத்த மரமாகவும் நினைக்கும்.

He esteemeth yron as strawe, and brasse as rotten wood.

28 ௨௮ அம்பு அதைத் துரத்தாது; கவண்கற்கள் அதற்குத் துரும்பாகும்.

The archer canot make him flee: ye stones of the sling are turned into stubble vnto him:

29 ௨௯ அது பெருந்தடிகளை வைக்கோல்களாக எண்ணி, ஈட்டியின் அசைவை இகழும்.

The dartes are counted as strawe: and hee laugheth at the shaking of the speare.

30 ௩0 அதின் கீழாகக் கூர்மையான கற்கள் கிடந்தாலும், அது சேற்றின்மேல் ஓடுகிறதுபோல கூர்மையான அவைகளின்மேலும் ஓடும்.

Sharpe stones are vnder him, and he spreadeth sharpe things vpon the myre.

31 ௩௧ அது ஆழத்தை உலைப்பானையைப்போல் பொங்கச்செய்து, கடலைத் தைலம்போலக் கலக்கிவிடும்.

He maketh the depth to boyle like a pot, and maketh the sea like a pot of oyntment.

32 ௩௨ அது தனக்குப் பின்னாகப் பாதையை மின்னச்செய்யும்; ஆழமானது வெளுப்பான நரையைப்போல் தோன்றும்.

He maketh a path to shine after him: one would thinke the depth as an hoare head.

33 ௩௩ பூமியின்மேல் அதற்கு ஒப்பானது ஒன்றுமில்லை; அது பயப்படும்விதமாக உண்டாக்கப்பட்டது.

In the earth there is none like him: hee is made without feare.

34 ௩௪ அது மேட்டிமையானதையெல்லாம் அற்பமாக நினைக்கிறது; அது அகங்காரமுள்ள உயிரினங்களுக்கெல்லாம் ராஜாவாக இருக்கிறது” என்றார்.

He beholdeth al hie things: he is a King ouer all the children of pride.
