யோபு 40
Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said:
2 ௨ “சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனுடன் வழக்காடி அவருக்குப் புத்தி சொல்லுகிறவன் யார்? தேவன் பேரில் குற்றம் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறவன் இவைகளுக்குப் பதில் சொல்லட்டும் என்றார்.
Shall he that reproveth contend with the Almighty? He that argueth with God, let him answer it.
Then Job answered the LORD, and said:
4 ௪ இதோ, நான் எளியவன்; நான் உமக்கு என்ன பதில் சொல்லுவேன்; என் கையால் என் வாயைப் பொத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer Thee? I lay my hand upon my mouth.
Once have I spoken, but I will not answer again; yea, twice, but I will proceed no further.
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:
Gird up thy loins now like a man; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto Me.
Wilt thou even make void My judgment? Wilt thou condemn Me, that thou mayest be justified?
Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like Him?
10 ௧0 இப்போதும் நீ முக்கியத்துவத்தாலும் மகத்துவத்தாலும் உன்னை அலங்கரித்து, மகிமையையும் கனத்தையும் அணிந்துகொண்டு,
Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency, and array thyself with glory and beauty.
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath; and look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.
12 ௧௨ பெருமையுள்ளவனையெல்லாம் கவனித்து, அவனைப் பணியவைத்து, துன்மார்க்கரை அவர்கள் இருக்கிற இடத்திலே மிதித்துவிடு.
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
Hide them in the dust together; bind their faces in the hidden place.
Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
15 ௧௫ இப்போதும் பிகெமோத்தை நீ கவனித்துப்பார்; உன்னை உண்டாக்கினதுபோல அதையும் உண்டாக்கினேன்; அது மாட்டைப்போல் புல்லைத் தின்னும்.
Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
16 ௧௬ இதோ, அதினுடைய பெலன் அதின் இடுப்பிலும், அதின் வீரியம் அதின் வயிற்றின் நரம்புகளிலும் இருக்கிறது.
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the stays of his body.
17 ௧௭ அது தன் வாலைக் கேதுரு மரத்தைப்போல் நீட்டுகிறது; அதின் இடுப்பு நரம்புகள் பின்னிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
He straineth his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together.
18 ௧௮ அதின் எலும்புகள் கெட்டியான வெண்கலத்தைப்போலவும், அதின் கால்கள் இரும்புக் கம்பிகளைப்போலவும் இருக்கிறது.
His bones are as pipes of brass; his gristles are like bars of iron.
19 ௧௯ அது தேவனுடைய படைப்புகளில் முதன்மையான ஒரு படைப்பு, அதை உண்டாக்கினவர் அதற்கு ஒரு பட்டயத்தையும் கொடுத்தார்.
He is the beginning of the ways of God; He only that made him can make His sword to approach unto him.
Surely the mountains bring him forth food, and all the beasts of the field play there.
He lieth under the lotus-trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
The lotus-trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
23 ௨௩ இதோ, நதி புரண்டு வந்தாலும் அது பயந்தோடாது; யோர்தான் நதியளவு தண்ணீர் அதின் முகத்தில் மோதினாலும் அது அசையாமலிருக்கும்.
Behold, if a river overflow, he trembleth not; he is confident, though the Jordan rush forth to his mouth.
24 ௨௪ அதின் கண்கள் பார்த்திருக்க அதை யார் பிடிக்கமுடியும்? மூக்கணாங்கயிறுபோட அதின் மூக்கை யார் குத்தமுடியும்?
Shall any take him by his eyes, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
