யோபு 24
1 ௧ சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனுக்குக் காலங்கள் மறைக்கப்படாதிருக்க, அவரை அறிந்தவர்கள் அவர் நியமித்த நாட்களை அறியாதிருக்கிறதென்ன?
Why are times not laid up by the Almighty? And why do those who know him not see his days?
2 ௨ சிலர் எல்லைக்குறிப்புகளை மாற்றி, மந்தைகளைப் பலாத்காரமாகக் கொண்டுபோய் தங்கள் மந்தையில் சேர்க்கிறார்கள்.
There are men who remove the landmarks. They take away flocks violently, and feed them.
3 ௩ தாய்தகப்பன் இல்லாதவர்களின் கழுதையை ஓட்டிக்கொண்டுபோய், விதவையின் மாட்டை ஈடாக எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்.
They drive away the donkey of the fatherless. They take the widow's ox for a pledge.
4 ௪ தேசத்தில் சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லோரும் ஒளித்துக்கொள்ளுமளவுக்கு, எளிமையானவர்களை வழியை விட்டு விலக்குகிறார்கள்.
They turn the needy out of the way. The poor of the earth all hide themselves.
5 ௫ இதோ, அவர்கள் காட்டுக்கழுதைகளைப்போல இரைதேட அதிகாலமே தங்கள் வேலைக்குப் புறப்படுகிறார்கள்; வனாந்திரப் பகுதிதான் அவர்களுக்கும் அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் ஆகாரம் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.
Behold, as wild donkeys in the desert, they go forth to their work, seeking diligently for food. The wilderness yields them bread for their sons.
6 ௬ துன்மார்க்கருடைய வயலில் அவர்கள் அவனுக்காக அறுவடைசெய்து, அவனுடைய திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்தின் பழங்களைச் சேர்க்கிறார்கள்.
They cut their provender in the field, and they glean the vintage of the wicked.
They lie all night naked without clothing, and have no covering in the cold.
8 ௮ மலைகளிலிருந்துவரும் மழையில் நனைந்து, ஒதுங்க இடமில்லாததினால் கன்மலையிலே ஒதுங்கிக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்.
They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
9 ௯ அவர்களோ தகப்பனில்லாத பிள்ளையை முலையைவிட்டுப்பறித்து, தரித்திரன் போர்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறதை அடகு வாங்குகிறார்கள்.
There are men who pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor,
so that they go about naked without clothing, and being hungry they carry the sheaves.
They make oil within the walls of these men. They tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.
12 ௧௨ ஊரில் மனிதர் தவிக்கிறார்கள், குற்றுயிராய்க்கிடக்கிறவர்களின் ஆத்துமா கூப்பிடுகிறது; என்றாலும், தேவன் அவர்கள் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கவனிக்கிறதில்லை.
From out of the populous city men groan, and the soul of the wounded cries out. Yet God does not regard the folly.
13 ௧௩ அவர்கள் வெளிச்சத்திற்கு விரோதமாக நடக்கிறவர்களின் கூட்டத்தார்; அவர்கள் அவருடைய வழிகளை அறியாமலும், அவருடைய பாதைகளில் தங்காமலும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
These are of those who rebel against the light. They do not know the ways of it, nor abide in the paths of it.
14 ௧௪ கொலைபாதகன் பொழுது விடிகிறபோது எழுந்து, ஏழையையும் தேவையுள்ளவனைக் கொன்று, இரவுநேரத்திலே திருடனைப்போல் திரிகிறான்.
The murderer rises with the light. He kills the poor and needy. And in the night he is as a thief.
15 ௧௫ விபசாரனுடைய கண் மாலை மயங்குகிற நேரத்திற்குக் காத்திருந்து: என்னை ஒருவரும் பார்க்கமாட்டார்கள் என்று முகத்தை மூடிக்கொள்ளுகிறான்.
The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me. And he disguises his face.
16 ௧௬ அவர்கள் பகலில் அடையாளம் பார்த்த வீடுகளை இரவிலே கன்னமிடுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் வெளிச்சத்தை அறியமாட்டார்கள்.
In the dark they dig through houses. They shut themselves up in the daytime. They do not know the light.
17 ௧௭ விடியுங்காலமும் அவர்களுக்கு மரண இருள்போல் இருக்கிறது; அப்படிப்பட்டவன் மரண இருளின் பயங்கரத்துடன் பழகியிருக்கிறான்.
For the morning is to all of them as thick darkness. For they know the terrors of the thick darkness.
18 ௧௮ நீரோட்டத்தைப்போல வேகமாகப் போவான்; தேசத்தில் அவனுடைய பங்கு சபிக்கப்பட்டுப் போகிறதினால், அவனுடைய திராட்சைத்தோட்டங்களின் வழியை இனிக்காண்பதில்லை.
Swiftly they pass away upon the face of the waters. Their portion is cursed in the earth. They do not turn into the way of the vineyards.
19 ௧௯ வறட்சியும் வெப்பமும் உறைந்த மழையை எரிக்கும்; அப்படியே பாதாளமானது பாவிகளை எரிக்கும். (Sheol h7585)
Drought and heat consume the snow waters, and Sheol those who have sinned. (Sheol h7585)
20 ௨0 அவனைப் பெற்ற கர்ப்பம் அவனை மறக்கும்; புழு திருப்தியாக அவனைத் தின்னும்; அவன் அதன்பின்பு நினைக்கப்படுவதில்லை; அக்கிரமமானது பட்டமரத்தைப்போல முறிந்துவிழும்.
The womb shall forget him. The worm shall feed sweetly on him. He shall be no more remembered. And unrighteousness shall be broken as a tree.
He devours the barren who do not bear, and does no good to the widow.
22 ௨௨ தன் பலத்தினாலே வல்லவர்களைத் தன் பலமாக்குகிறான்; அவன் எழும்புகிறபோது ஒருவனுக்கும் உயிரைப்பற்றி நிச்சயமில்லை.
Yet God preserves the mighty by his power. He rises up who has no assurance of life.
23 ௨௩ தேவன் அவனுக்குச் சுகவாழ்வைக் கட்டளையிட்டால், அதின்மேல் உறுதியாக நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறான்; ஆனாலும் அவருடைய கண்கள் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களின் வழிகளுக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறது.
God gives them to be in security, and they rest in it. And his eyes are upon their ways.
24 ௨௪ அவர்கள் கொஞ்சக்காலம் உயர்ந்திருந்து, பார்க்காமற்போய், தாழ்த்தப்பட்டு, மற்ற எல்லோரைப்போலும் அடக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்; கதிர்களின் நுனியைப்போல அறுக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.
They are exalted. Yet a little while, and they are gone. Yea, they are brought low. They are taken out of the way as all others, and are cut off as the tops of the ears of grain.
And if it be not so now, who will prove me a liar, and make my speech worth nothing?
