யோபு 23
Then Job answered by saying:
2 ௨ “இன்றையதினமும் என் அங்கலாய்ப்பு முரட்டுத்தனமாக எண்ணப்படுகிறது; என் தவிப்பைவிட என் வாதை கடினமானது.
Now again my conversation is in bitterness, and the force of my scourging weighs more heavily on me because of my mourning.
3 ௩ நான் அவரை எங்கே கண்டு சந்திக்கலாம் என்பதை அறிந்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது நான் அவர் இருக்கைக்கு முன்பாக வந்து சேர்ந்து,
Who will grant me that I might know and find him, and that I may approach even to his throne?
4 ௪ என் நியாயத்தை அவருக்கு முன்பாக வரிசையாக வைத்து, காரியத்தை நிரூபிக்கும் வார்த்தைகளால் என் வாயை நிரப்புவேன்.
I would place judgment before his eye, and my mouth would fill with criticism,
so that I may know the words that he will answer me and understand what he will say to me.
6 ௬ அவர் தம்முடைய மகா வல்லமையினால் என்னுடன் வழக்காடுவாரோ? அவர் அப்படிச் செய்யாமல் என்மேல் தயை வைப்பார்.
I do not want him to contend with me with much strength, nor to overwhelm me with the bulk of his greatness.
7 ௭ அங்கே சன்மார்க்கன் அவருடன் வழக்காடலாம்; அப்பொழுது என்னை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறவரின் கைக்கு என்றைக்கும் விலக்கிக் காப்பாற்றிக்கொள்வேன்.
Let him show fairness in response to me, and let my judgment reach to victory.
If I go to the east, he does not appear; if I go to the west, I will not understand him.
9 ௯ இடதுபுறத்தில் அவர் செயல்பட்டும் அவரைப் பார்க்கவில்லை; வலது புறத்திலும் நான் அவரைக் பார்க்காமலிருக்க மறைந்திருக்கிறார்.
If I turn to the left, what can I do? I will not take hold of him. If I turn myself to the right, I will not see him.
Truly, he knows my way and has tested me like gold that passes through fire.
11 ௧௧ என் கால்கள் அவர் அடிகளைப் பற்றிப்பிடித்தது; அவருடைய கட்டளையை விட்டு நான் விலகாமல் அதைக் கைக்கொண்டேன்.
My feet have been following his footsteps; I have kept to his way and have not strayed from it.
12 ௧௨ அவர் உதடுகளின் கற்பனைகளை விட்டு நான் பின்வாங்குவதில்லை; அவருடைய வாயின் வார்த்தைகளை எனக்கு வேண்டிய ஆகாரத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாகக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்.
I have not withdrawn from the commands of his lips, and the words of his mouth I have hidden in my sinews.
13 ௧௩ அவரோவென்றால் ஒரே மனமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவரைத் திருப்பத்தக்கவர் யார்? அவருடைய விருப்பத்தின்படியெல்லாம் செய்வார்.
For he is alone, and no one is able to disturb his intention; and whatever his spirit wills, that he accomplishes.
14 ௧௪ எனக்கு திட்டமிட்டிருக்கிறதை அவர் நிறைவேற்றுவார்; இப்படிப்பட்டவைகள் இன்னும் அநேகம் அவரிடத்தில் உண்டு.
And when he fulfills his will in me, many other similar ones will also be present with him.
And, for this reason, I have been troubled at his presence, and, when I consider him, I am approached by fear.
God has weakened my heart, and the Almighty has confused me.
17 ௧௭ இருள் வராததற்கு முன்னே நான் அழிக்கப்படாமலும், இருளை அவர் எனக்கு மறைக்காமலும் போனதினால் இப்படியிருக்கிறேன்.
Yet I have not perished because of the threatening darkness, nor has gloom covered my face.
