யோபு 13

1 ௧ இதோ, இவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் என் கண் கண்டு, என் காது கேட்டு அறிந்திருக்கிறது.

Behold, my eye has seen all these things, and my ear has heard, and I have understood each one.

2 ௨ நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதை நானும் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; நான் உங்களுக்குத் தாழ்ந்தவன் அல்ல.

In conformity with your knowledge, I also know. I am not inferior to you.

3 ௩ சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனுடன் நான் பேசினால் நல்லது; தேவனுடன் நியாயத்திற்காக வழக்காட விரும்புவேன்.

Yet I speak this way to the Almighty, and I desire to argue with God,

4 ௪ நீங்கள் உண்மையில் பொய்யை இணைக்கிறவர்கள்; நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் காரியத்திற்கு உதவாத வைத்தியர்கள்.

having first shown that you fabricate lies and cultivate perverse teachings.

5 ௫ நீங்கள் பேசாமலிருந்தால் நலமாகும்; அது உங்களுக்கு ஞானமாயிருக்கும்.

And I wish that you would remain silent, so that you would be counted among the wise.

6 ௬ நீங்கள் என் நியாயத்தைக் கேட்டு, என் உதடுகள் சொல்லும் விசேஷங்களைக் கவனியுங்கள்.

Therefore, listen to my correction, and pay attention to the judgment of my lips.

7 ௭ நீங்கள் தேவனுக்காக நியாயமில்லாமல் பேசி, அவருக்காக வஞ்சகமாகப் பேசவேண்டுமோ?

Does God require your lie, so that you would speak deceitfully for him?

8 ௮ அவருக்கு முகதாட்சிணியம் செய்வீர்களோ? தேவனுக்காக வழக்காடுவீர்களோ?

Have you taken his place, and do you struggle to give judgment in favor of God?

9 ௯ அவர் உங்களை ஆராய்ந்துபார்த்தால் அது உங்களுக்கு நலமாயிருக்குமோ? மனிதனைக் கேலி செய்கிறதுபோல அவரைக் கேலி செய்வீர்களோ?

Or, will it please him, from whom nothing can be concealed? Or, will he be deceived, like a man, by your deceitfulness?

10 ௧0 நீங்கள் மறைமுகமாக முகதாட்சிணியம் செய்தால், அவர் உங்களை எவ்விதத்திலும் கண்டிப்பார்.

He will accuse you because in secret you have preempted his presence.

11 ௧௧ அவருடைய மகத்துவம் உங்களை அதிர்ச்சியடையச் செய்யாதோ? அவருடைய பயங்கரம் உங்களைப் பிடிக்கமாட்டாதோ?

As soon as he moves himself, he will disturb you, and his dread will fall over you.

12 ௧௨ உங்கள் பெயரை நினைக்கச்செய்யும் அடையாளங்கள் சாம்பலுக்கு இணையானது; உங்கள் மேட்டிமைகள் சேற்றுக்குவியல்களுக்குச் சமானம்.

Your remembrance will be compared to ashes, and your necks will be reduced to clay.

13 ௧௩ நீங்கள் மவுனமாயிருங்கள், நான் பேசுகிறேன், எனக்கு வருகிறது வரட்டும்.

Be silent for a little while, so that I may speak whatever my mind suggests to me.

14 ௧௪ நான் என் பற்களினால் என் சதையைப் பிடுங்கி, என் உயிரை என் கையிலே ஏன் வைக்கவேண்டும்?

Why do I wound my flesh with my teeth, and carry my soul in my hands?

15 ௧௫ அவர் என்னைக் கொன்றுபோட்டாலும், அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருப்பேன்; ஆனாலும் என் வழிகளை அவருக்கு முன்பாக நிரூபிப்பேன்.

And now, if he would kill me, I will hope in him; in this, truly, I will correct my ways in his sight.

16 ௧௬ அவரே என் பாதுகாப்பு; மாயக்காரனோ அவர் முன்னிலையில் சேரமாட்டான்.

And he will be my savior, for no hypocrite at all will approach in his sight.

17 ௧௭ என் வசனத்தையும், நான் சொல்லிக் காண்பிக்கிறதையும், உங்கள் காதுகளால் கவனமாகக் கேளுங்கள்.

Listen to my words, and perceive an enigma with your ears.

18 ௧௮ இதோ, என் நியாயங்களை வரிசையாக வைத்தேன்; என் நீதி விளங்கும் என்று அறிவேன்.

If I will be judged, I know that I will be found to be just.

19 ௧௯ என்னுடன் வழக்காடவேண்டுமென்று இருக்கிறவன் யார்? நான் மவுனமாயிருந்தால் இறந்துபோவேனே.

Who is it that will go to judgment with me? Let him approach. Why should I be consumed in silence?

20 ௨0 இரண்டு காரியங்களை மாத்திரம் எனக்குச் செய்யாதிருப்பீராக; அப்பொழுது உமது முகத்திற்கு முன்பாக ஒளித்துக்கொள்ளாதிருப்பேன்.

Do not do such things to me twice, and then I will not hide from your face.

21 ௨௧ உம்முடைய கையை என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரப்படுத்தும்; உம்முடைய பயங்கரம் என்னை பயமுறுத்தாதிருப்பதாக.

Take your hand far away from me, and do not let your dread terrify me.

22 ௨௨ நீர் கூப்பிடும், நான் பதில் கொடுப்பேன்; அல்லது நான் பேசுவேன்; நீர் எனக்கு மறுமொழி சொல்லும்.

Call me, and I will answer you, or else I will speak, and you can answer me.

23 ௨௩ என் அக்கிரமங்களும் பாவங்களும் எத்தனை? என் மீறுதலையும் என் பாவத்தையும் எனக்கு உணர்த்தும்.

How many iniquities and sins do I have? Reveal my crimes and offenses to me.

24 ௨௪ நீர் உமது முகத்தை மறைத்து, என்னை உமக்குப் பகைவனாக நினைப்பானேன்?

Why do you conceal your face and consider me to be your enemy?

25 ௨௫ காற்றடித்த சருகை நொறுக்குவீரோ? காய்ந்துபோன துரும்பைப் பின்தொடருவீரோ?

Against a leaf, which is carried away by the wind, you reveal your power, and you pursue dry straw.

26 ௨௬ மகா கசப்பான முடிவுகளை என்பேரில் எழுதுகிறீர்; என் சிறுவயதின் அக்கிரமங்களை எனக்குப் பலிக்கச்செய்கிறீர்.

For you write bitter things against me, and you want to consume me for the sins of my youth.

27 ௨௭ என் கால்களைத் தொழுவத்தில் கட்டிப்போட்டு, என் வழிகளையெல்லாம் காவல்செய்கிறீர்; என் கால் தடங்களில் அடையாளத்தைப் போடுகிறீர்.

You have put my feet on a tether, and you have observed all my paths, and you have considered the steps of my feet.

28 ௨௮ இப்படிப்பட்டவன் அழுகிப்போகிற பொருளைப் போலவும், பூச்சி அரித்த ஆடையைப் போலவும் அழிந்து போவான்.

I will be left to decay like something rotten and like a garment that is being eaten by moths.
