எரேமியா 52
1 ௧ சிதேக்கியா ராஜாவாகிறபோது இருபத்தொரு வயதாயிருந்தான்; அவன் பதினொரு வருடம் எருசலேமில் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்; அவனுடைய தாயின்பெயர் அமுத்தாள், அவள் லிப்னா ஊரானாகிய எரேமியாவின் மகள்.
Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
3 ௩ எருசலேமையும் யூதாவையும் யெகோவா தம்முடைய சமுகத்தைவிட்டு அகற்றிவிடும்வரை, அவைகளின் மேலுள்ள அவருடைய கோபத்தினால் இப்படி நடந்ததும் அல்லாமல், சிதேக்கியா பாபிலோன் ராஜாவுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கலகம் செய்தான்.
For through the anger of the LORD it happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
4 ௪ அவன் ஆட்சிசெய்யும் ஒன்பதாம் வருடம் பத்தாம் மாதம் பத்தாந்தேதியில் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரும், அவனுடைய எல்லாப் படையும் எருசலேமுக்கு விரோதமாய் வந்து, அதற்கு எதிராக முகாமிட்டு, சுற்றிலும் அதற்கு எதிராக முற்றுகைச் சுவர்களைக் கட்டினார்கள்.
It happened in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and camped against it; and they built forts against it round about.
So the city was besieged to the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
6 ௬ நான்காம் மாதம் ஒன்பதாம் தேதியில் பஞ்சம் நகரத்தில் அதிகரித்து, தேசத்தின் மக்களுக்கு ஆகாரமில்லாமல் போனது.
In the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was severe in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
7 ௭ நகரத்தின் மதில் இடிக்கப்பட்டது; அப்பொழுது கல்தேயர் நகரத்தைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கும்போது, போர்வீரர்கள் எல்லோரும் இரவுநேரத்தில் ஓடி, ராஜாவின் தோட்டத்தின் வழியே இரண்டு மதில்களுக்கும் நடுவிலுள்ள வழியாக நகரத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, வயல்வெளியின் வழியே போய்விட்டார்கள்.
Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden; (now the Chaldeans were against the city all around; ) and they went toward the Arabah.
8 ௮ ஆனாலும் கல்தேயருடைய படைவீரர்கள் ராஜாவைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து, எரிகோவின் சமமான பூமியில் சிதேக்கியாவை நெருங்கினார்கள்; அப்பொழுது அவனுடைய படைவீரர்கள் எல்லோரும் அவனைவிட்டுச் சிதறிப்போயிருந்தார்கள்.
But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.
9 ௯ அவர்கள் ராஜாவைப் பிடித்து, அவனை ஆமாத் தேசத்தின் ஊராகிய ரிப்லாவுக்குப் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரிடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோனார்கள்; அங்கே இவனுக்கு நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக் கொடுத்தான்.
Then they took the king, and carried him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; and he gave judgment on him.
10 ௧0 பின்பு பாபிலோன் ராஜா சிதேக்கியாவின் மகன்களை அவன் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக வெட்டினான்; யூதாவின் பிரபுக்கள் எல்லோரையும் ரிப்லாவில் வெட்டினான்.
The king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he killed also all the officials of Judah in Riblah.
11 ௧௧ சிதேக்கியாவின் கண்களைக் குருடாக்கி, அவனுக்கு இரண்டு விலங்குகளை மாட்டினான்; பின்பு பாபிலோன் ராஜா அவனைப் பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டுபோய், அவன் மரணமடையும் நாள்வரை அவனைக் காவல் வீட்டில் அடைத்துவைத்தான்.
He put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison until the day of his death.
12 ௧௨ ஐந்தாம் மாதம் பத்தாந்தேதியில், பாபிலோன் ராஜாவுக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கிறவனாகிய காவற்சேனாதிபதியான நேபுசராதான் எருசலேமுக்கு வந்தான்; அது நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் என்னும் ராஜா பாபிலோனை அரசாளுகிற பத்தொன்பதாம் வருடமாயிருந்தது.
Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, who stood before the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem:
13 ௧௩ அவன் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தையும், ராஜாவின் அரண்மனையையும், எருசலேமிலுள்ள எல்லா வீடுகளையும், ஒவ்வொரு பெரிய மனிதனுடைய வீட்டையும் நெருப்பினால் எரித்துப்போட்டான்.
and he burned the house of the LORD, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burned he with fire.
14 ௧௪ காவற்சேனாதிபதியுடன் இருந்த கல்தேயரின் படைவீரர்கள் அனைவரும் எருசலேமைச் சுற்றிலும் இருந்த மதில்களை இடித்துப்போட்டார்கள்.
All the army of the Chaldeans, who were with the captain of the guard, broke down all the walls of Jerusalem all around.
15 ௧௫ மக்களில் ஏழைகளான சிலரையும் நகரத்தில் மீதியான மற்ற மக்களையும், பாபிலோன் ராஜாவிடம் ஓடிவந்துவிட்டவர்களையும், மற்ற மக்களையும் காவற்சேனாதிபதியாகிய நேபுசராதான் சிறைகளாகக் கொண்டுபோனான்.
Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the poorest of the people, and the residue of the people who were left in the city, and those who fell away, who fell to the king of Babylon, and the residue of the multitude.
16 ௧௬ ஆனால் தேசத்தாரில் ஏழைகளான சிலரைக் காவற்சேனாதிபதியாகிய நேபுசராதான் திராட்சைத்தோட்டக்காரராகவும் பயிர்செய்யும் மக்களாகவும் விட்டுவைத்தான்.
But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the poorest of the land to be vineyard keepers and farmers.
17 ௧௭ யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்த வெண்கலத் தூண்களையும், ஆதாரங்களையும், வெண்கலக் கடல்தொட்டியையும் கல்தேயர் உடைத்துப்போட்டு, அவைகளின் வெண்கலத்தையெல்லாம் பாபிலோனுக்கு எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோனார்கள்.
The Chaldeans broke the pillars of bronze that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases and the bronze sea that were in the house of the LORD in pieces, and carried all their bronze to Babylon.
18 ௧௮ செம்புச்சட்டிகளையும், சாம்பல் எடுக்கும் கரண்டிகளையும், வெட்டுக்கத்திகளையும், கலங்களையும், கலயங்களையும், ஆராதனைக்குரிய எல்லா வெண்கலப் பணிப்பொருட்களையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோனார்கள்.
They also took away the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the basins, the spoons, and all the vessels of bronze with which they ministered.
19 ௧௯ பசும்பொன்னும் சுத்தவெள்ளியுமான கிண்ணங்களையும், தூபகலசங்களையும், கலங்களையும், சட்டிகளையும், விளக்குத்தண்டுகளையும், கலயங்களையும், கரகங்களையும் காவற்சேனாதிபதி எடுத்துக்கொண்டான்.
The captain of the guard took away the cups, the fire pans, the basins, the pots, the lampstands, the spoons, and the bowls; that which was of gold, in gold, and that which was of silver, in silver.
20 ௨0 சாலொமோன் ராஜா யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்துக்காகச் செய்து வைத்த இரண்டு தூண்களும் ஒரு கடல்தொட்டியும் ஆதாரங்களின் கீழ்நின்ற பன்னிரண்டு வெண்கல காளைச்சிலைகளும் ஆகிய இவைகளுக்குரிய வெண்கலத்திற்கு எடையில்லை.
They took the two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under the sea, and the stands which king Solomon had made for the house of the LORD. The bronze of all these vessels was without weight.
21 ௨௧ அந்தத் தூண்களோவென்றால், ஒவ்வொரு தூணும் பதினெட்டுமுழ உயரமாயிருந்தது; பன்னிரண்டு முழ நூல் அதைச் சுற்றும்; நான்கு விரற்கடை அதின் கனம்; உள்ளே குழாயாயிருந்தது.
As for the pillars, the height of the one pillar was eight feet seven inches; and a line of twenty feet eight inches encircled it; and its thickness was almost three inches. It was hollow.
22 ௨௨ அதின்மேல் வெண்கலக் குமிழ் இருந்தது; ஒரு குமிழின் உயரம் ஐந்து முழம், குமிழில் சுற்றிலும் பின்னலும் மாதுளம்பழங்களும் செய்திருந்தது; எல்லாம் வெண்கலமாயிருந்தது; அதற்குச் சரியாய் மற்றத் தூணுக்கும் மாதுளம்பழங்களும் செய்திருந்தது.
A capital of bronze was on it; and the height of the one capital was eight feet seven inches, with network and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze: and the second pillar also had like these, and pomegranates.
23 ௨௩ தொண்ணூற்றாறு மாதுளம்பழங்கள் நான்கு திசைகளுக்கும் எதிராகச் செய்திருந்தது; குமிழைச் சுற்றிலும் செய்திருந்த மாதுளம்பழங்கள் நூறு.
There were ninety-six pomegranates on the sides; all the pomegranates were one hundred on the network all around.
24 ௨௪ காவற்சேனாதிபதி முதன்மை ஆசாரியனாகிய செராயாவையும், இரண்டாம் ஆசாரியனாகிய செப்பனியாவையும், வாசற்படியின் மூன்று காவற்காரரையும் பிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோனான்.
The captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the threshold:
25 ௨௫ நகரத்திலோவென்றால் அவன் போர்வீரர்களின் விசாரிப்புக்காரனாகிய தலைவன் ஒருவனையும், ராஜாவின் மந்திரிகளில் நகரத்தில் பிடிபட்ட ஏழுபேரையும், தேசத்தின் மக்களை வேலையில் அமர்த்துகிற தலைமையான காரியதரிசியையும், தேசத்து மக்களில் பட்டணத்தின் நடுவில் பிடிபட்ட அறுபது பேரையும் கொண்டுபோனான்.
and out of the city he took an officer who was set over the men of war; and seven men of those who saw the king's face, who were found in the city; and the scribe of the captain of the army, who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the midst of the city.
26 ௨௬ அவர்களைக் காவற்சேனாதிபதியாகிய நேபுசராதான் பிடித்து, அவர்களை ரிப்லாவுக்குப் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவினிடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோய்விட்டான்.
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
27 ௨௭ அப்பொழுது பாபிலோன் ராஜா ஆமாத் என்னும் தேசத்தின் பட்டணமாகிய ரிப்லாவில் அவர்களை வெட்டிக் கொன்றுபோட்டான்; இவ்விதமாக யூதர்கள் தங்கள் தேசத்திலிருந்து சிறைகளாய்க் கொண்டுபோகப்பட்டார்கள்.
The king of Babylon struck them, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land.
28 ௨௮ நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் சிறைபிடித்துப்போன மக்களின் தொகை எவ்வளவென்றால், ஏழாம் வருடத்தில் மூவாயிரத்து இருபத்து மூன்று யூதரும்,
This is the people whom Nebuchadnezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand twenty-three Jews;
29 ௨௯ நேபுகாத்நேச்சாருடைய பதினெட்டாம் வருடத்தில் எருசலேமிலிருந்து எண்ணூற்று முப்பத்திரண்டு பேர்களும் கொண்டுபோகப்பட்டார்கள்.
in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty-two persons;
30 ௩0 நேபுகாத்நேச்சாருடைய இருபத்துமூன்றாம் வருடத்தில் காவற்சேனாதிபதியாகிய நேபுசராதான் யூதரில் எழுநூற்று நாற்பத்தைந்துபேரைச் சிறைபிடித்துக் கொண்டுபோனான்; மொத்தம் நான்காயிரத்து அறுநூறு பேர்களாம்.
in the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty-five persons: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred.
31 ௩௧ யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோயாக்கீனுடைய சிறையிருப்பின் முப்பத்தேழாம் வருடம் பன்னிரண்டாம் மாதம் இருபத்தைந்தாம் தேதியில், ஏவில் மெரொதாக் என்னும் பாபிலோன் ராஜா, தான் ராஜாவான வருடத்தில், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோயாக்கீனைச் சிறைச்சாலையிலிருந்து வெளியில் கொண்டுவந்து, அவன் தலையை உயர்த்தி.
It happened in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Awil-Marduk king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison;
32 ௩௨ அவனுடன் அன்பாய்ப் பேசி, அவனுடைய இருக்கையைத் தன்னுடன் பாபிலோனில் இருந்த ராஜாக்களுடைய இருக்கைகளுக்கு மேலாக வைத்து,
and he spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon,
33 ௩௩ அவனுடைய சிறையிருப்பு உடைகளை மாற்றினான்; அவன் உயிரோடிருந்த எல்லா நாட்களும் தன் முன்னிலையில் அனுதினமும் உணவு சாப்பிடச்செய்தான்.
and changed his prison garments. Jehoiachin ate bread before him continually all the days of his life:
34 ௩௪ அவன் உயிரோடிருந்த நாட்களெல்லாம் அவனுடைய மரணநாள் வரையும், அவனுடைய செலவுக்காகப் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவினால் கட்டளையான அநுதினத் திட்டத்தின்படி, அநுதினமும் அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுவந்தது.
and for his allowance, there was a continual allowance given him by the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
