ஏசாயா 66
1 ௧ யெகோவா சொல்கிறது என்னவென்றால்: வானம் எனக்குச் சிங்காசனம், பூமி எனக்குப் பாதபடி; நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கட்டும் ஆலயம் எப்படிப்பட்டது? நான் தங்கியிருக்கும் இடம் எப்படிப்பட்டது?
Thus says the Lord, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what kind of a house will you build me? and of what kind [is to be] the place of my rest?
2 ௨ என்னுடைய கரம் இவைகளையெல்லாம் படைத்ததினால் இவைகளெல்லாம் உண்டானது என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்; ஆனாலும் சிறுமைப்பட்டு, ஆவியில் நொறுங்குண்டு, என் வசனத்திற்கு நடுங்குகிறவனையே நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பேன்.
For all these things are mine, says the Lord: and to whom will I have respect, but to the humble and meek, and the [man] that trembles [at] my words?
3 ௩ மாட்டை வெட்டுகிறவன் மனிதனைக் கொல்லுகிறவனாகவும், ஆட்டைப் பலியிடுகிறவன் நாயைக் கழுத்தறுக்கிறவனாகவும், காணிக்கையைப் படைக்கிறவன் பன்றி இரத்தத்தைப் படைக்கிறவனாகவும், தூபங்காட்டுகிறவன் சிலையை போற்றுகிறவனாகவும் இருக்கிறான்; இவர்கள் தங்கள் வழிகளையே தெரிந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; இவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா தங்கள் அருவருப்புகளின்மேல் விருப்பமாயிருக்கிறது.
But the transgressor that sacrifices a calf to me, is as he that kills a dog; and he that offers fine flour, as [one that offers] swine's blood; he that gives frankincense for a memorial, is as a blasphemer. Yet they have chosen their own ways, and their soul has delighted in their abominations.
4 ௪ நான் கூப்பிட்டும் மறுமொழி கொடுக்கிறவனில்லாமலும், நான் பேசியும் அவர்கள் கேளாமலும், அவர்கள் என் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, நான் விரும்பாததைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டதினால், நானும் அவர்களுடைய ஆபத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அவர்களுடைய திகில்களை அவர்கள்மேல் வரச்செய்வேன்.
I also will choose their mockeries, and will recompense their sins upon them; because I called them, and they did not listen to me; I spoke, and they heard not: and they did evil before me, and chose the things wherein I delighted not.
5 ௫ யெகோவாவுடைய வசனத்திற்கு நடுங்குகிறவர்களே, அவருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்; என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் உங்களைப் பகைத்து, உங்களை அப்புறப்படுத்துகிற உங்கள் சகோதரர்கள், யெகோவா மகிமைப்படுவாராக என்கிறார்களே; அவர் உங்களுக்குச் சந்தோஷம் உண்டாக காணப்படுவார்; அவர்களோ வெட்கப்படுவார்கள்.
Hear the words of the Lord, you that tremble at his word; speak you, our brethren, to them that hate you and abominate you, that the name of the Lord may be glorified, and may appear their joy; but they shall be ashamed.
6 ௬ நகரத்திலிருந்து அமளியின் இரைச்சலும் தேவாலயத்திலிருந்து சத்தமும் கேட்கப்படும்; அது தமது எதிரிகளுக்கு பாடம்கற்பிக்கிற யெகோவாவுடைய சத்தந்தானே.
A voice of a cry from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord rendering recompence to [his] adversaries.
Before she that travailed brought forth, before the travail-pain came on, she escaped [it] and brought forth a male.
8 ௮ இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளைக் கேள்விப்பட்டது யார்? இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளைக் கண்டது யார்? ஒரு தேசத்திற்கு ஒரே நாளில் பிள்ளைப்பேறு வருமோ? ஒரு தேசம் ஒரே சமயத்தில் பிறக்குமோ? சீயோனோவெனில், ஒரே சமயத்தில் வேதனைப்பட்டும், தன் மகன்களைப் பெற்றும் இருக்கிறது.
Who has heard such a thing? and who has seen after this manner? Has the earth travailed in one day? or has even a nation been born at once, that Sion has travailed, and brought forth her children?
9 ௯ பெறச்செய்கிறவராகிய நான் பெறச்செய்யாமல் இருப்பேனோ என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்; பிரசவிக்கச்செய்கிறவராகிய நான் பிரசவத்தைத் தடுப்பேனோ என்று உன் தேவன் சொல்கிறார்.
But I have raised this expectation, yet you have not remembered me, says the Lord: behold, have not I made the bearing and barren woman? says your God.
10 ௧0 எருசலேமை நேசிக்கிற நீங்களெல்லோரும் அவளுடன் சந்தோஷப்பட்டு, அவளைக்குறித்துக் களிகூருங்கள்; அவளுக்காக துக்கித்திருந்த நீங்களெல்லோரும் அவளுடன் மிகவும் மகிழுங்கள்.
Rejoice, O Jerusalem, and all you that love her hold in her a general assembly: rejoice greatly with her, all that [now] mourn over her:
11 ௧௧ நீங்கள் அவளுடைய ஆறுதல்களின் முலைப்பாலை உண்டு திருப்தியாகி, நீங்கள் சூப்பிக்குடித்து, அவளுடைய மகிமையின் பிரகாசத்தினால் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாகுங்கள்;
that you may suck, and be satisfied with the breast of her consolation; that you may milk out, and delight yourselves with the influx of her glory.
12 ௧௨ யெகோவா சொல்கிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, நான் சமாதானத்தை ஒரு நதியைப்போலவும், தேசங்களின் மகிமையைப் புரண்டு ஓடுகிற ஆற்றைப்போலவும் அவளிடமாகப் பாயும்படி செய்கிறேன்; அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் முலைப்பால் குடிப்பீர்கள்; இடுப்பில் வைத்துச் சுமக்கப்படுவீர்கள்; முழங்காலில் வைத்துத் தாலாட்டப்படுவீர்கள்.
For thus says the Lord, Behold, I turn toward them as a river of peace, and as a torrent bringing upon them in a flood the glory of the Gentiles: their children shall be borne upon the shoulders, and comforted on the knees.
13 ௧௩ ஒருவனை அவன் தாய் தேற்றுவதுபோல் நான் உங்களைத் தேற்றுவேன்; நீங்கள் எருசலேமிலே தேற்றப்படுவீர்கள்.
As if his mother should comfort one, so will I also comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14 ௧௪ நீங்கள் அதைக் காணும்போது, உங்கள் இருதயம் மகிழ்ந்து, உங்கள் எலும்புகள் பசும்புல்லைப்போலச் செழிக்கும்; அப்பொழுது யெகோவாவுடைய ஊழியக்காரரிடத்தில் அவருடைய கரமும், அவருடைய எதிரிகளிடத்தில் அவருடைய கோபமும் தெரியவரும்.
And you shall see, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall thrive like grass: and the hand of the Lord shall be known to them that fear him, and he shall threaten the disobedient.
15 ௧௫ இதோ, தம்முடைய கோபத்தை கடுங்கோபமாகவும், தம்முடைய கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலை நெருப்புத்தழலாகவும் செலுத்தக் யெகோவா அக்கினியுடனும் வருவார், பெருங்காற்றைப்போன்ற தம்முடைய இரதங்களுடனும் வருவார்.
For, behold, the Lord will come as fire, and his chariots as a storm, to render his vengeance with wrath, and his rebuke with a flame of fire.
16 ௧௬ யெகோவா அக்கினியாலும், தமது பட்டயத்தாலும், மாம்சமான எல்லோருடனும் வழக்காடுவார்; கர்த்தரால் கொலைசெய்யப்பட்டவர்கள் அநேகராயிருப்பார்கள்.
For with the fire of the Lord all the earth shall be judged, and all flesh with his sword: many shall be slain by the Lord.
17 ௧௭ தங்களைத்தாங்களே பரிசுத்தப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும், தோப்புகளின் நடுவிலே தங்களைத் தாங்களே ஒருவர்பின் ஒருவராகச் சுத்திகரித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும், பன்றியிறைச்சியையும், அருவருப்பானதையும், எலியையும் சாப்பிடுகிறவர்களும் முழுவதுமாக அழிக்கப்படுவார்கள் என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves in the gardens, and eat swine's flesh in the porches, and the abominations, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the Lord.
18 ௧௮ நான் அவர்களுடைய செயல்களையும், அவர்கள் நினைவுகளையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; நான் எல்லா தேசத்தாரையும் பல்வேறு மொழிகளைப் பேசுகிறவர்களையுங் ஒன்றாகச் சேர்க்கும்காலம் வரும்; அவர்கள் வந்து என் மகிமையைக் காண்பார்கள்.
And I [know] their works and their imagination. I am going to gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
19 ௧௯ நான் அவர்களில் ஒரு அடையாளத்தைக் கட்டளையிடுவேன்; அவர்களில் தப்பினவர்களை, என் புகழ்ச்சியைக் கேளாமலும், என் மகிமையைக் காணாமலுமிருக்கிற மக்களின் தேசங்களாகிய தர்ஷீசுக்கும், வில்வீரர்கள் இருக்கிற பூலுக்கும், லூதுக்கும், தூபாலுக்கும், யாவானுக்கும், தூரத்திலுள்ள தீவுகளுக்கும் அனுப்புவேன்; அவர்கள் என் மகிமையை தேசங்களுக்குள்ளே அறிவிப்பார்கள்.
And I will leave a sign upon them, and I will send forth them that have escaped of them to the nations, to Tharsis, and Phud, and Lud, and Mosoch, and to Thobel, and to Greece, and to the isles afar off, to those who have not heard my name, nor seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
20 ௨0 இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் சுத்தமான பாத்திரத்தில் காணிக்கையைக் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவருகிறதுபோல, உங்கள் சகோதரர் எல்லோரையும் அவர்கள் குதிரைகளின்மேலும், இரதங்களின்மேலும், சரக்கு வண்டிகளின்மேலும், கோவேறு கழுதைகளின்மேலும், வேகமான ஒட்டகங்களின்மேலும், சகல தேசங்களிடத்திலுமிருந்து எருசலேமிலுள்ள யெகோவாவுக்குக் காணிக்கையாக என் பரிசுத்த மலைக்குக் கொண்டுவருவார்கள் என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
And they shall bring your brethren out of all nations for a gift to the Lord with horses, and chariots, in litters [drawn by] mules with awnings, to the holy city Jerusalem, said the Lord, as though the children of Israel should bring their sacrifices to me with psalms into the house of the Lord.
And I will take of them priests and Levites, says the Lord.
22 ௨௨ நான் படைக்கப்போகிற புதிய வானமும் புதிய பூமியும் எனக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பதுபோல, உங்கள் சந்ததியும், உங்கள் பெயரும் நிற்குமென்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
For as the new heaven and the new earth, which I make, remain before me, says the Lord, so shall your seed and your name continue.
23 ௨௩ அப்பொழுது: மாதந்தோறும், ஓய்வுநாள்தோறும், மாம்சமான அனைவரும் எனக்கு முன்பாகத் தொழுதுகொள்வார்களென்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
And it shall come to pass from month to month, and from sabbath to sabbath, [that] all flesh shall come to worship before me in Jerusalem, says the Lord.
24 ௨௪ அவர்கள் வெளியே போய் எனக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாதகம்செய்த மனிதர்களுடைய பிரேதங்களைப் பார்ப்பார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய பூச்சி சாகாமலும், அவர்களுடைய நெருப்பு அணையாமலும் இருக்கும்; அவர்கள் மாம்சமான அனைவருக்கும் அருவருப்பாயிருப்பார்கள்.
And they shall go forth, and see the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, and their fire shall not be quenched; and they shall be a spectacle to all flesh.
