ஏசாயா 2

2 ௨ வரும்நாட்களில் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயமாகிய மலை, மலைகளின் உச்சியில் அமைக்கப்பட்டு, மலைகளுக்கு மேலாக உயர்த்தப்படும்; எல்லா தேசத்தார்களும் அதற்கு ஓடிவருவார்கள்.

3 ௩ திரளான மக்கள் புறப்பட்டுவந்து: நாம் யெகோவாவின் மலைக்கும், யாக்கோபின் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்திற்கும் போவோம் வாருங்கள்; அவர் தமது வழிகளை நமக்குப் போதிப்பார்; நாம் அவருடைய பாதைகளில் நடப்போம் என்பார்கள்; ஏனெனில் சீயோனிலிருந்து வேதமும், எருசலேமிலிருந்து யெகோவாவின் வசனமும் வெளிப்படும்.

4 ௪ அவர் தேசங்களிடையே நியாயந்தீர்த்து, திரளான மக்களின் வாக்குவாதங்களைத் தீர்த்துவைப்பார்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தங்கள் பட்டயங்களை மண்வெட்டிகளாகவும், தங்கள் ஈட்டிகளை அரிவாள்களாகவும் மாற்றுவார்கள்; நாட்டிற்கு விரோதமாக நாடு பட்டயம் எடுப்பதில்லை, இனி அவர்கள் போர்ப்பயிற்சி எடுப்பதுமில்லை.
and to judge between [the] nation and to rebuke to/for people many and to crush sword their to/for plowshare and spear their to/for pruner not to lift: fight nation to(wards) nation sword and not to learn: learn still battle

6 ௬ யாக்கோபின் வம்சத்தாராகிய உம்முடைய மக்களைக் கைவிட்டீர்; அவர்கள் கிழக்குத் நாடுகளின் போதகத்தால் நிறைந்து, பெலிஸ்தர்களைப்போல் நாள்பார்க்கிறவர்களாயிருந்து, அந்நிய மக்கள்மேல் பிரியப்படுகிறார்களே.

7 ௭ அவர்களுடைய தேசம் வெள்ளியினாலும் பொன்னினாலும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; அவர்களுடைய பொக்கிஷங்களுக்கு முடிவில்லை; அவர்களுடைய தேசம் குதிரைகளாலும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; அவர்களுடைய இரதங்களுக்கும் முடிவில்லை.

8 ௮ அவர்களுடைய தேசம் விக்கிரகங்களாலும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; தங்கள் கைகளாலும், தங்கள் விரல்களாலும் உருவாக்கிய சிலைகளைப் பணிந்துகொள்கிறார்கள்.

10 ௧0 யெகோவாவின் பயங்கரத்திற்கும், அவருடைய மகிமையின் புகழ்ச்சிக்கும் விலகி, நீ கன்மலையில் ஒதுங்கி, மண்ணில் ஒளித்துக்கொள்.

11 ௧௧ மனிதர்களின் மேட்டிமையான கண்கள் தாழ்த்தப்படும், மனிதர்களின் வீணான பிடிவாதமும் தணியும்; யெகோவா ஒருவரே நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாளில் உயர்ந்திருப்பார்.

12 ௧௨ அனைத்தும் தாழ்த்தப்படுவதற்காக சேனைகளுடைய யெகோவாவின் நாளானது பெருமையும் மேட்டிமையுமானவை எல்லாவற்றின்மேலும், உயர்ந்தவை எல்லாவற்றின்மேலும்,
for day to/for LORD Hosts upon all proud and to exalt and upon all to lift: raise and to abase
13 ௧௩ லீபனோனிலுள்ள உயரமும் உயர்ந்ததுமான எல்லாக் கேதுருக்களின்மேலும், பாசானிலுள்ள எல்லாக் கர்வாலி மரங்களின்மேலும்,
and upon all cedar [the] Lebanon [the] to exalt and [the] to lift: raise and upon all oak [the] Bashan
and upon all [the] mountain: mount [the] to exalt and upon all [the] hill [the] to lift: raise
and upon all tower high and upon all wall to gather/restrain/fortify
and upon all fleet Tarshish and upon all image [the] desire
17 ௧௭ அப்பொழுது மனிதர்களின் மேட்டிமை தாழ்ந்து, மனிதர்களின் வீறாப்புத் தணியும்; யெகோவா ஒருவரே அந்நாளில் உயர்ந்திருப்பார்.
and to bow haughtiness [the] man and to abase height human and to exalt LORD to/for alone him in/on/with day [the] he/she/it
and [the] idol entire to pass
19 ௧௯ பூமியைத் தத்தளிக்கச்செய்யக் யெகோவா எழும்பும்போது, அவருடைய பயங்கரத்திற்கும், அவருடைய மகிமைப் புகழ்ச்சிக்கும் விலகி, கன்மலைகளின் கெபிகளிலும், பூமியின் குகைகளிலும் புகுந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

20 ௨0 பூமியைத் தத்தளிக்கச்செய்யக் யெகோவா எழும்பும் அந்நாளிலே, அவருடைய பயங்கரத்திற்கும், அவருடைய மகிமைப் புகழ்ச்சிக்கும் விலகி, கன்மலைகளின் வெடிப்புகளிலும் குன்றுகளின் சந்துகளிலும் புகுந்துகொள்ளும்படிக்கு,

21 ௨௧ மனிதன் பணிந்துகொள்ளத் தனக்கு உண்டாக்கியிருந்த தன் வெள்ளி சிலைகளையும், தன் பொன் சிலைகளையும், மூஞ்சூறு எலிகளுக்கும் வெளவால்களுக்கும் எறிந்துவிடுவான்.
