ஓசியா 5
1 ௧ ஆசாரியர்களே, இதைக் கேளுங்கள்; இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களே, கவனியுங்கள்; ராஜாவின் வீட்டாரே, செவிகொடுங்கள்; இந்த நியாயவிசாரிப்பு உங்கள்மேல் செல்லும்; நீங்கள் மிஸ்பாவில் கண்ணியும் தாபோரின்மேல் விரிக்கப்பட்ட வலையுமானீர்கள்.
Hear this, O ye priests, and hearken, ye house of Israel, and give ear, O house of the king, for unto you pertain the judgment; for ye have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
And the revolters are gone deep in making slaughter; but I am a rebuker of them all.
3 ௩ எப்பிராயீமை நான் அறிவேன், இஸ்ரவேல் எனக்கு மறைவானதல்ல; எப்பிராயீமே, இப்போது நீ வழிவிலகிப்போனாயே, இஸ்ரவேல் தீட்டுப்பட்டதே.
I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou hast committed whoredom, Israel is defiled.
4 ௪ அவர்கள் தங்கள் தேவனிடத்திற்குத் திரும்புவதற்குத் தங்கள் செயல்களை சரிசெய்யமாட்டார்கள், வேசித்தன ஆவி அவர்கள் உள்ளத்தில் இருக்கிறது; யெகோவாவை அறியார்கள்.
Their doings will not suffer them to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredom is within them, and they know not the LORD.
5 ௫ இஸ்ரவேலின் அகந்தை அவர்களுடைய முகத்திற்கு முன்பாகச் சாட்சியிடுகிறது; ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேலும் எப்பிராயீமும் தங்கள் அக்கிரமத்தினால் இடறி விழுவார்கள்; அவர்களோடே யூதாவும் இடறி விழுவான்.
And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore Israel and Ephraim shall stumble in their iniquity; Judah also shall stumble with them.
6 ௬ அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை தேடும்படி தங்கள் ஆடுகளோடும் தங்கள் மாடுகளோடும் போவார்கள்; அவரைக் காணமாட்டார்கள்; அவர் அவர்களை விட்டு விலகினார்.
They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him: he hath withdrawn himself from them.
7 ௭ யெகோவாவுக்கு விரோதமாக துரோகம்செய்தார்கள்; அந்நியபிள்ளைகளைப் பெற்றார்கள்; இப்போதும் ஒரு மாதத்திற்குள்ளாக அவர்கள் தங்கள் பங்குகளோடே அழிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.
They have dealt treacherously against the LORD; for they have borne strange children: now shall the new moon devour them with their fields.
8 ௮ கிபியாவிலே எக்காளத்தையும், ராமாவிலே பூரிகையையும் ஊதுங்கள்; பெத்தாவேனிலே கதறுங்கள்; பென்யமீனே உன்னைப் பின்தொடருகிறார்கள்.
Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: sound an alarm at Beth-aven; behind thee, O Benjamin.
9 ௯ தண்டிப்பின் நாளிலே எப்பிராயீம் பாழாவான்; நிச்சயமாக வரப்போகிறதை இஸ்ரவேலின் கோத்திரங்களுக்குள்ளே அறிவிக்கிறேன்.
Ephraim shall become a desolation in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
10 ௧0 யூதாவின் பிரபுக்கள் எல்லைகளை ஒதுக்குகிறவர்களுக்கு ஒப்பானார்கள்; அவர்கள்மேல் என் கடுங்கோபத்தைத் தண்ணீரைப்போல ஊற்றுவேன்.
The princes of Judah are like them that remove the landmark: I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
11 ௧௧ எப்பிராயீம் தகாத கற்பனையை மனதாரப் பின்பற்றிப்போனபடியால் அவன் ஒடுங்கி, நியாயவிசாரணையில் நொறுக்கப்பட்டுப்போகிறான்.
Ephraim is oppressed, he is crushed in judgment; because he was content to walk after the command.
12 ௧௨ நான் எப்பிராயீமுக்குப் பூச்சி அரிப்பைப்போலவும், யூதாவின் வீட்டிற்கு உளுப்பைப்போலவும் இருப்பேன்.
Therefore am I unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
13 ௧௩ எப்பிராயீம் தன் வியாதியையும், யூதா தன் காயத்தையும் கண்டபோது, எப்பிராயீம் அசீரியனிடம் போய் யாரேப் ராஜாவினிடத்தில் ஆள் அனுப்பினான்; ஆனாலும் உங்களைக் குணமாக்கவும் உங்களில் இருக்கிற காயத்தை ஆற்றவும் அவனால் முடியாமற்போனது.
When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah [saw] his wound, then went Ephraim to Assyria, and sent to king Jareb: but he is not able to heal you, neither shall he cure you of your wound.
14 ௧௪ நான் எப்பிராயீமுக்குச் சிங்கம்போலவும், யூதாவின் வம்சத்தாருக்குப் பாலசிங்கம்போலவும் இருப்பேன்; நான் நானே காயப்படுத்திவிட்டுப் போய்விடுவேன்; தப்புவிப்பார் இல்லாமல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போவேன்.
For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will carry off, and there shall be none to deliver.
15 ௧௫ அவர்கள் தங்கள் குற்றங்களை உணர்ந்து, என் முகத்தைத் தேடும்வரை நான் என் இடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப் போய்விடுவேன்; தங்கள் ஆபத்தில் என்னைக் கருத்தாகத் தேடுவார்கள்.
I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me earnestly.
