எபிரேயர் 2
So then, we really must pay the utmost attention to the things we have heard, so that we not drift away.
2 ௨ ஏனென்றால், தேவதூதர்கள் மூலமாகச் சொல்லப்பட்ட வசனத்திற்கு எதிரான எந்தச் செய்கைக்கும் கீழ்ப்படியாமைக்கும் நீதியான தண்டனை வரத்தக்கதாக அவர்களுடைய வசனம் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
For if the word spoken through angels became binding, and every violation and disobedience received a deserved penalty,
3 ௩ முதலாவது கர்த்தர் மூலமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு, பின்பு அவரிடம் கேட்டவர்களாலே நமக்கு உறுதியாக்கப்பட்டதும்,
how shall we escape if we are careless about that tremendous salvation?—it received its beginning through the Lord's declaration and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him[S],
4 ௪ அற்புதங்களினாலும், அதிசயங்களினாலும் பலவிதமான பலத்த செய்கைகளினாலும், தம்முடைய விருப்பத்தின்படி பகிர்ந்துகொடுத்த பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் வரங்களினாலும், தேவன்தாமே சாட்சி கொடுத்ததுமாக இருக்கிற இவ்வளவு பெரிதான இரட்சிப்பைக்குறித்து நாம் கவலை இல்லாமல் இருப்போம் என்றால் தண்டனைக்கு எப்படித் தப்பித்துக்கொள்ளுவோம்.
God adding His[F] attestation by signs, wonders, various miracles, and distributions of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.
Because it is not to angels that He has subjected the coming inhabited earth, about which we are speaking;
6 ௬ ஒரு இடத்திலே ஒருவன் சாட்சியாக: மனிதனை நீர் நினைக்கிறதற்கும், மனிதனுடைய குமாரனை நீர் விசாரிக்கிறதற்கும் அவன் எம்மாத்திரம்?
rather, there is a place where someone testified saying: “What is man that You are mindful of him, or son of man that you care for him?
7 ௭ அவனை தேவதூதர்களைவிட கொஞ்சம் சிறியவனாக்கினீர்; மகிமையினாலும் கனத்தினாலும் அவனுக்கு முடிசூட்டி, உம்முடைய கைகளின் செயல்களின்மீது அவனை அதிகாரியாக வைத்து, எல்லாவற்றையும் அவனுடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினீர் என்று சொன்னான்.
You made him lower than the angels, for a little while; You crowned him with glory and honor,
8 ௮ எல்லாவற்றையும் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினார் என்கிற காரியத்தில், அவர் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தாத பொருள் ஒன்றும் இல்லை; ஆனால், இன்னும் எல்லாம் அவனுக்கு கீழ்ப்பட்டிருப்பதைக் காணமுடியவில்லை.
You subjected all things under his feet.” It follows that in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not so subjected. However, we do not yet see everything subjected to him, at present.
9 ௯ என்றாலும், தேவனுடைய கிருபையினால் ஒவ்வொருவருக்காகவும், மரணத்தை ருசிபார்க்க தேவதூதர்களைவிட கொஞ்சம் சிறியவராக்கப்பட்டிருந்த இயேசு மகிமையினாலும் கனத்தினாலும் முடிசூட்டப்பட்டதைப் பார்க்கிறோம்.
But we do see Jesus, who ‘was made lower than the angels, for a little while’ (in order to suffer death), ‘crowned with glory and honor’—this, by the grace of God, so that He[S] might taste death on behalf of everyone.
10 ௧0 ஏனென்றால், தமக்காகவும் தம்மூலமாகவும் எல்லாவற்றையும் உண்டாக்கினவர், அநேக பிள்ளைகளை மகிமையில் கொண்டுவந்து சேர்க்கும்போது அவர்களுடைய இரட்சிப்பின் அதிபதியை உபத்திரவங்களினாலே பூரணப்படுத்துவது அவருக்கு ஏற்றதாக இருந்தது.
Because it was appropriate to Him[F], for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons into glory, to complete the Author of their salvation through sufferings.
11 ௧௧ எப்படியென்றால், பரிசுத்தம் பண்ணுகிறவரும் பரிசுத்தம் பண்ணப்பட்டவர்களுமாகிய எல்லோரும் ஒருவராலே உண்டாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; இதினால் அவர்களைச் சகோதரர்கள் என்று சொல்ல அவர் வெட்கப்படாமல்:
For both He[S] who is sanctifying and those who are being sanctified are all from One, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them ‘brothers’,
12 ௧௨ உம்முடைய நாமத்தை என் சகோதரர்களுக்கு அறிவித்து, சபை நடுவில் உம்மைத் துதித்துப்பாடுவேன் என்றும்;
saying, “I will declare Your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will sing praise to You.”
13 ௧௩ நான் அவரிடம் நம்பிக்கையாக இருப்பேன் என்றும்; இதோ, நானும், தேவன் எனக்குக் கொடுத்த பிள்ளைகளும் என்றும் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.
And again, “I will put my trust in Him[F]”; and again, “Here am I and the children whom God has given me.”
14 ௧௪ எனவே, பிள்ளைகள் சரீரத்தையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உடையவர்களாக இருக்க, அவரும் அவர்களைப்போல சரீரத்தையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உடையவரானார்; மரணத்திற்கு அதிகாரியாகிய பிசாசானவனைத் தமது மரணத்தினாலே அழிப்பதற்கும்,
Since, then, the children have flesh and blood as their share, He[S] Himself likewise partook of the same, in order that through His death He might abolish the one who had the power of death—that is, the devil—
15 ௧௫ ஜீவகாலமெல்லாம் மரணபயத்தினாலே அடிமைத்தனத்தில் வாழ்ந்தவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் விடுதலைபண்ணுவதற்கும் அப்படியானார்.
and set free these [the children] who during their whole lifetime were subject to slavery through fear of death.
16 ௧௬ எனவே, அவர் தேவதூதர்களுக்கு உதவியாகக் கைகொடுக்காமல், ஆபிரகாமின் வம்சத்திற்கு உதவியாகக் கைகொடுத்தார்.
(Now surely He does not assist angels, but He does assist Abraham's seed.)
17 ௧௭ அன்றியும், அவர் மக்களின் பாவங்களை நிவர்த்தி செய்வதற்காக, தேவகாரியங்களைக்குறித்து இரக்கமும் உண்மையும் உள்ள பிரதான ஆசாரியராக இருப்பதற்கு எல்லாவிதத்திலும் தம்முடைய சகோதரர்களைப்போல மாறவேண்டியதாக இருந்தது.
That is why He was obliged to become like those ‘brothers’ in all respects, so that He could be a merciful and faithful high priest, in what concerns God, with a view to making propitiation for the sins of the people.
18 ௧௮ எனவே, அவர்தாமே சோதிக்கப்பட்டுப் பாடுகள்பட்டதினாலே, அவர் சோதிக்கப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்ய வல்லவராக இருக்கிறார்.
For in that in which He Himself endured suffering, having been tested, He is able to assist those who are being tested.
