எபிரேயர் 1
1 ௧ முற்காலத்தில் வெவ்வேறு காலங்களில், அநேக விதங்களில் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் மூலமாக முற்பிதாக்களோடு பேசின தேவன்,
On many occasions and in many ways in the olden time, God having spoken to the fathers through the prophets, at the last of these days has spoken to us through his Son,
2 ௨ இந்தக் கடைசிநாட்களில் குமாரன் மூலமாக நம்மோடு பேசினார்; இவரை எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் வாரிசாக நியமித்தார், இவர் மூலமாக உலகங்களையும் உண்டாக்கினார். (aiōn g165)
whom he put forth the heir of all things, and through whom he created the ages; (aiōn g165)
3 ௩ இவர் பிதாவுடைய மகிமையின் பிரகாசமும், அவருடைய குணத்தின் சாயலாகவும் இருந்து, எல்லாவற்றையும் தம்முடைய வல்லமையுள்ள வசனத்தினாலே தாங்குகிறவராக, அவர்தாமே நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நீக்கும் சுத்திகரிப்பை உண்டுபண்ணி, உன்னதத்திலுள்ள மகத்துவமானவருடைய வலதுபக்கத்தில் உட்கார்ந்தார்.
who being the brightness of his glory, and the character of his person, and holding up all things by the word of his power, having made purgation of the sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4 ௪ இவர் தேவதூதர்களைவிட எவ்வளவு விசேஷமான நாமத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டாரோ, அவ்வளவு அதிகமாக அவர்களைவிட மேன்மையுள்ளவரானார்.
being so much greater than the angels, that he has inherited a name so much more excellent than they.
5 ௫ எப்படியென்றால், நீர் என்னுடைய நேசகுமாரன், இன்று நான் உம் தகப்பனானேன் என்றும்; நான் அவருக்குப் பிதாவாக இருப்பேன், அவர் எனக்குக் குமாரனாக இருப்பார் என்றும், அவர் தூதர்களில் யாருக்காவது எப்போதாவது சொன்னது உண்டா?
For to which one of the angels at any time did he say, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? and again, I will be unto him a Father, and he shall be unto me a Son?
6 ௬ மேலும், தமது முதற்பேறானவரை உலகத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கச்செய்தபோது: தேவதூதர்கள் எல்லோரும் அவரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளவேண்டும் என்றார்.
And again when he may lead in the first begotten into the world, he says, Indeed let all the angels of God worship him.
7 ௭ தேவதூதர்களைப்பற்றி: தம்முடைய தூதர்களைக் காற்றுகளாகவும், தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர்களை அக்கினிஜூவாலைகளாகவும் செய்கிறார் என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறது.
And to the angels he says, he maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire: but to the Son he says,
8 ௮ குமாரனைப்பற்றி: தேவனே, உம்முடைய சிங்காசனம் என்றென்றைக்கும் உள்ளது, உம்முடைய ராஜ்யத்தின் செங்கோல் நீதியுள்ள செங்கோலாக இருக்கிறது. (aiōn g165)
Thy throne, O God, is unto the age of the age; and the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. (aiōn g165)
9 ௯ நீர் நீதியை விரும்பி, அக்கிரமத்தை வெறுத்திருக்கிறீர்; எனவே, தேவனே, உம்முடைய தேவன், உமது தோழர்களைவிட உம்மை ஆனந்தத் தைலத்தினால் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினார் என்றும்;
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy comrades.
10 ௧0 கர்த்தாவே, நீர் ஆரம்பத்திலே பூமியை அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தினீர்; வானங்கள் உம்முடைய கைவேலைகளாக இருக்கிறது;
And thou, at the beginning, O Lord, didst lay the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands.
These shall perish; but thou dost remain: truly all these shall wax old like a garment;
12 ௧௨ ஒரு சால்வையைப்போல அவைகளைச் சுருட்டுவீர், அப்பொழுது அவைகள் மாறிப்போகும்; ஆனால், நீரோ மாறாதவராக இருக்கிறீர், உம்முடைய ஆண்டுகள் முடிந்து போவதில்லை என்றும் சொல்லியிருக்கிறது.
and thou shalt roll them up like a mantle, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail thee.
13 ௧௩ மேலும், நான் உம்முடைய எதிரிகளை உமது பாதத்தின் கீழே போடும்வரை நீர் என்னுடைய வலதுபக்கத்தில் உட்கார்ந்திரும் என்று தூதர்களில் யாருக்காவது எப்போதாவது அவர் சொன்னதுண்டா?
And to which one of the angels has he at any time said, Sit thou on my right hand, until I may make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet?
14 ௧௪ அவர்கள் எல்லோரும், இரட்சிப்பைச் சுதந்தரிக்கப்போகிறவர்களுக்காக ஊழியம் செய்வதற்கு அனுப்பப்பட்ட பணிவிடை செய்யும் ஆவிகளாக இருக்கிறார்கள் அல்லவா?
Are not all these ministering spirits, having been sent forth unto ministration for the sake of those who are about to inherit salvation?
