And Ioseph fell apon his fathers face and wepte apon him and kyssed him.
2 ௨ பின்பு, தன் தகப்பனுடைய உடலைப் பதப்படுத்தும்படி யோசேப்பு தன் வேலைக்காரர்களாகிய வைத்தியர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டான்; அப்படியே வைத்தியர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலைப் பதப்படுத்தினார்கள்.
And Ioseph commaunded his seruauntes that were Phisicions to embawme his father and the Phisicios ebawmed Israel
3 ௩ பதப்படுத்த 40 நாட்கள் ஆகும்; அப்படியே அந்த நாட்கள் நிறைவேறின. எகிப்தியர்கள் அவனுக்காக 70 நாட்கள் துக்கம் அனுசரித்தார்கள்.
.xl. dayes loge for so loge doth ye embawminge last and the Egiptians bewepte him. lxx. dayes.
4 ௪ துக்கம் அனுசரிக்கும் நாட்கள் முடிந்தபின், யோசேப்பு பார்வோனின் குடும்பத்தாரை நோக்கி: “உங்கள் கண்களில் எனக்கு தயவுகிடைத்ததானால், நீங்கள் பார்வோனுடைய காது கேட்க அவருக்கு தெரிவிக்கவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்,
And when the dayes of wepynge were ended Ioseph spake vnto ye house of Pharao saynge: Yf I haue founde fauoure in youre eyes speake vnto Pharao and tell him how that
5 ௫ என் தகப்பனார் என்னை நோக்கி: இதோ, நான் மரணமடையப்போகிறேன்; கானான் தேசத்திலே நான் எனக்காக வெட்டிவைத்திருக்கிற கல்லறையிலே என்னை அடக்கம் செய்யவேண்டும் என்று என்னிடத்தில் சொல்லி, உறுதிமொழி வாங்கிக்கொண்டார்; நான் அங்கே போய், என் தகப்பனை அடக்கம்செய்து வருவதற்கு அனுமதிகொடுக்க வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன் என்று சொல்லுங்கள்” என்றான்.
my father made me swere and sayde: loo Ioye se that thou burye me in my graue which I haue made me in the lande of Canaan. Now therfore let me goo and burye my father ad tha will I come agayne.
6 ௬ அதற்குப் பார்வோன்: “உன் தகப்பன் உன்னிடத்தில் உறுதிமொழி வாங்கிக்கொண்டபடியே, நீ போய், அவரை அடக்கம்செய்து வா” என்றான்.
And Pharao sayde goo and burye thy father acordynge as he made the swere.
7 ௭ அப்படியே யோசேப்பு தன் தகப்பனை அடக்கம்செய்யப் போனான். பார்வோனுடைய அரண்மனையிலிருந்த பெரியவர்களாகிய அவனுடைய அனைத்து உயர் அதிகாரிகளும் எகிப்துதேசத்திலுள்ள அனைத்து பெரியோரும்,
And Ioseph went vp to burie his father and with him went all the seruauntes of Pharao that were the elders of his house ad all ye elders of Egipte
8 ௮ யோசேப்பின் வீட்டார் அனைவரும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களும், தகப்பன் வீட்டாரும் அவனோடுகூடப் போனார்கள். தங்கள் குழந்தைகளையும், தங்கள் ஆடுமாடுகளையும்மாத்திரம் கோசேன் நாட்டிலே விட்டுப் போனார்கள்.
and all the house of Ioseph ad his brethern and his fathers house: only their childern and their shepe and their catell lefte they behinde them in the lande of Gosan.
And there went with him also Charettes and horsemen: so that they were an exceadynge great companye.
10 ௧0 அவர்கள் யோர்தானுக்கு மறுகரையில் இருக்கிற ஆத்தாத்தின் போர்க்களத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, அந்த இடத்திலே பெரும் புலம்பலாகப் புலம்பினார்கள். அங்கே தன் தகப்பனுக்காக ஏழுநாட்கள் துக்கம் அனுசரித்தான்.
And when they came to ye feld of Atad beyonde Iordane there they made great and exceadinge sore lamentacio. And he morned for his father. vij. dayes.
11 ௧௧ ஆத்தாத்தின் களத்திலே துக்கம் அனுசரிக்கிறதை அந்த தேசத்தின் குடிமக்களாகிய கானானியர்கள் கண்டு: “இது எகிப்தியருக்குப் பெரிய துக்கம் அனுசரித்தல்” என்றார்கள். அதனால் யோர்தானுக்கு அப்பால் இருக்கிற அந்த இடத்திற்கு ஆபேல்மிஸ்ராயீம் என்னும் பெயர் உண்டானது.
When the enhabiters of the lande the Cananytes sawe the moornynge in ye felde of Atad they saide: this is a greate moornynge which the Egiptians make. Wherfore ye name of the place is called Abel mizraim which place lyeth beyonde Iordane.
And his sonnes dyd vnto him acordynge as he had commaunded them.
13 ௧௩ அவனைக் கானான் தேசத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோய், ஆபிரகாம் மம்ரேக்கு எதிரே இருக்கிற மக்பேலா என்னும் நிலத்திலே தனக்குச் சொந்தக் கல்லறைப் பூமியாக ஏத்தியனான எப்பெரோனிடத்தில் வாங்கின நிலத்திலுள்ள குகையிலே அவனை அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்.
And his sonnes caried him in to the land of Canaan and buryed him in the double caue which Abraha had boughte with the felde to be a place to burye in of Ephron the Hethite before Mamre.
14 ௧௪ யோசேப்பு தன் தகப்பனை அடக்கம்செய்தபின்பு, அவனும் அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களும், அவனுடைய தகப்பனை அடக்கம்செய்வதற்கு அவனோடுகூடப் போனவர்கள் அனைவரும் எகிப்திற்குத் திரும்பினார்கள்.
And Ioseph returned to Egipte agayne and his brethern and all that went vp with him to burye his father assone as he had buryed him.
15 ௧௫ தங்களுடைய தகப்பன் மரணமடைந்ததை யோசேப்பின் சகோதரர்கள் கண்டு: “ஒரு வேளை யோசேப்பு நம்மைப் பகைத்து, நாம் அவனுக்குச் செய்த எல்லாப் பொல்லாங்குக்காகவும் நம்மை பழிவாங்குவான்” என்று சொல்லி, யோசேப்பினிடத்தில் ஆள் அனுப்பி,
Whe Iosephs brethern sawe that their father was deade they sayde: Ioseph myghte fortune to hate us and rewarde us agayne all the euell which we dyd vnto him.
16 ௧௬ “உம்முடைய சகோதரர்கள் உமக்குப் பொல்லாங்கு செய்திருந்தாலும், அவர்கள் செய்த துரோகத்தையும் பாதகத்தையும் நீர் தயவுசெய்து மன்னிக்கவேண்டும் என்று உம்முடைய தகப்பனார் மரணமடையுமுன்னே, உமக்குச் சொல்லும்படி கட்டளையிட்டார்.
They dyd therfore a commaundment vnto Ioseph saynge: thy father charged before his deth saynge.
17 ௧௭ ஆகையால், உம்முடைய தகப்பனாருடைய தேவனுக்கு ஊழியக்காரராகிய நாங்கள் செய்த துரோகத்தை மன்னிக்கவேண்டும்” என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்லச் சொன்னார்கள். அவர்கள் அதை யோசேப்புக்குச் சொன்னபோது, அவன் அழுதான்.
This wise say vnto Ioseph forgeue I praye the the trespace of thy brethern and their synne for they rewarded the euell. Now therfore we praye the forgeue the trespace of the servuantes of thy fathers God. And Ioseph wepte when they spake vnto him.
18 ௧௮ பின்பு, அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களும் போய், அவனுக்கு முன்பாகத் தாழவிழுந்து: “இதோ, நாங்கள் உமக்கு அடிமைகள்” என்றார்கள்.
And his brethern came ad fell before him and sayde: beholde we be thy servauntes.
And Ioseph sayde vnto them: feare not for am not I vnder god?
20 ௨0 நீங்கள் எனக்குத் தீமைசெய்ய நினைத்தீர்கள்; தேவனோ, இப்பொழுது நடந்துவருகிறபடியே, திரளான மக்களை உயிரோடு காக்கும்படி, அதை நன்மையாக முடியச்செய்தார்.
Ye thoughte euell vnto me: but God turned it vnto good to bringe to passe as it is this daye euen to saue moch people a lyue
21 ௨௧ ஆதலால், பயப்படாதிருங்கள்; நான் உங்களையும் உங்கள் குழந்தைகளையும் பராமரிப்பேன்” என்று, அவர்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் சொல்லி, அவர்களோடு ஆதரவாகப் பேசினான்.
feare not therfore for I will care for you and for youre childern and he spake kyndly vnto them.
22 ௨௨ யோசேப்பும் அவனுடைய தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தாரும் எகிப்திலே குடியிருந்தார்கள். யோசேப்பு 110 வருடங்கள் உயிரோடிருந்தான்.
Ioseph dwelt in Egipte and his fathers house also ad lyved an hundred and. x. yere.
23 ௨௩ யோசேப்பு எப்பிராயீமுக்குப் பிறந்த மூன்றாம் தலைமுறைப் பிள்ளைகளையும் கண்டான்; மனாசேயின் மகனாகிய மாகீரின் பிள்ளைகளும் யோசேப்பின் மடியில் வளர்க்கப்பட்டார்கள்.
And Ioseph sawe Ephraims childern eue vnto the thyrde generation. And vnto Machir the sonne of Manasses were childern borne and satt on Iosephs knees.
24 ௨௪ யோசேப்பு தன் சகோதரர்களை நோக்கி: “நான் மரணமடையப்போகிறேன்; ஆனாலும் தேவன் உங்களை நிச்சயமாகச் சந்தித்து, நீங்கள் இந்த தேசத்தைவிட்டு, தாம் ஆபிரகாமுக்கும் ஈசாக்குக்கும் யாக்கோபுக்கும் ஆணையிட்டுக் கொடுத்திருக்கிற தேசத்திற்குப் போகச்செய்வார் என்று சொன்னதுமல்லாமல்;
And Ioseph sayde vnto his brethern: I die And God will suerlie vysett you and bringe you out of this lande vnto the lande which he sware vnto Abraham Isaac and Iacob.
25 ௨௫ தேவன் உங்களைச் சந்திக்கும்போது, என் எலும்புகளை இந்த இடத்திலிருந்து கொண்டுபோவீர்களாக” என்றும் சொல்லி; யோசேப்பு இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரிடத்தில் உறுதிமொழி வாங்கிக்கொண்டான்.
And Ioseph toke an ooth of the childern of Israel ad sayde: God will not fayle but vysett you se therfore that ye carye my boones hence.
26 ௨௬ யோசேப்பு 110 வயதுள்ளவனாக இறந்தான். அவனுடைய உடலைப் பதப்படுத்தி, எகிப்து தேசத்தில் அவனை ஒரு பெட்டியிலே வைத்துவைத்தார்கள்.
And so Ioseph dyed when he was an hundred and. x. yere olde. And they enbawmed him and put him in a chest in Egipte.
