ஆதியாகமம் 5

1 ௧ ஆதாமின் வம்சவரலாறு: தேவன் மனிதனை உருவாக்கின நாளிலே அவனை தேவசாயலாக உண்டாக்கினார்.

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him;

2 ௨ அவர்களை ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக உருவாக்கினார், அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்து, அவர்களை உருவாக்கின நாளிலே அவர்களுக்கு மனிதர்கள் என்று பெயரிட்டார்.

male and female created He them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3 ௩ ஆதாம் 130 வயதானபோது, தன் சாயலாகத் தன் உருவத்தைப்போல ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்றெடுத்து, அவனுக்கு சேத் என்று பெயரிட்டான்.

And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth.

4 ௪ ஆதாம் சேத்தைப் பெற்றபின், 800 வருடங்கள் உயிரோடிருந்து, மகன்களையும் மகள்களையும் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And the days of Adam after he begot Seth were eight hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters.

5 ௫ ஆதாம் உயிரோடிருந்த நாட்களெல்லாம் 930 வருடங்கள்; அவன் இறந்தான்.

And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.

6 ௬ சேத் 105 வயதானபோது, ஏனோசைப் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enosh.

7 ௭ சேத் ஏனோசைப் பெற்றபின், 807 வருடங்கள் உயிரோடிருந்து, மகன்களையும் மகள்களையும் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Seth lived after he begot Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.

8 ௮ சேத்துடைய நாட்களெல்லாம் 912 வருடங்கள்; அவன் இறந்தான்.

And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.

9 ௯ ஏனோஸ் 90 வயதானபோது, கேனானைப் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Kenan.

10 ௧0 ஏனோஸ் கேனானைப் பெற்றபின்பு, 815 வருடங்கள் உயிரோடிருந்து, மகன்களையும் மகள்களையும் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Enosh lived after he begot Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters.

11 ௧௧ ஏனோசுடைய நாட்களெல்லாம் 905 வருடங்கள், அவன் இறந்தான்.

And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.

12 ௧௨ கேனான் 70 வயதானபோது, மகலாலெயேலைப் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Kenan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel.

13 ௧௩ கேனான் மகலாலெயேலைப் பெற்றபின், 840 வருடங்கள் உயிரோடிருந்து, மகன்களையும் மகள்களையும் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Kenan lived after he begot Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begot sons and daughters.

14 ௧௪ கேனானுடைய நாட்களெல்லாம் 910 வருடங்கள்; அவன் இறந்தான்.

And all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.

15 ௧௫ மகலாலெயேல் 65 வயதானபோது, யாரேதைப் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years, and begot Jared.

16 ௧௬ மகலாலெயேல் யாரேதைப் பெற்றபின், 830 வருடங்கள் உயிரோடிருந்து, மகன்களையும், மகள்களையும் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Mahalalel lived after he begot Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.

17 ௧௭ மகலாலெயேலுடைய நாட்களெல்லாம் 895 வருடங்கள்; அவன் இறந்தான்.

And all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety and five years; and he died.

18 ௧௮ யாரேத் 162 வயதானபோது, ஏனோக்கைப் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begot Enoch.

19 ௧௯ யாரேத் ஏனோக்கைப் பெற்றபின், 800 வருடங்கள் உயிரோடிருந்து, மகன்களையும் மகள்களையும் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Jared lived after he begot Enoch eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

20 ௨0 யாரேதுடைய நாட்களெல்லாம் 962 வருடங்கள்; அவன் இறந்தான்.

And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years; and he died.

21 ௨௧ ஏனோக்கு 65 வயதானபோது, மெத்தூசலாவைப் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begot Methuselah.

22 ௨௨ ஏனோக்கு மெத்தூசலாவைப் பெற்றபின், 300 வருடங்கள் தேவனோடு நெருங்கி உறவாடிக்கொண்டிருந்து, மகன்களையும், மகள்களையும் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Enoch walked with God after he begot Methuselah three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

23 ௨௩ ஏனோக்குடைய நாட்களெல்லாம் 365 வருடங்கள்.

And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.

24 ௨௪ ஏனோக்கு தேவனோடு நெருங்கி உறவாடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, காணப்படாமற்போனான்; தேவன் அவனை எடுத்துக்கொண்டார்.

And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him.

25 ௨௫ மெத்தூசலா 187 வயதானபோது, லாமேக்கைப் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begot Lamech.

26 ௨௬ மெத்தூசலா லாமேக்கைப் பெற்றபின், 782 வருடங்கள் உயிரோடிருந்து, மகன்களையும் மகள்களையும் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Methuselah lived after he begot Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begot sons and daughters.

27 ௨௭ மெத்தூசலாவுடைய நாட்களெல்லாம் 969 வருடங்கள்; அவன் இறந்தான்.

And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years; and he died.

28 ௨௮ லாமேக்கு 182 வயதானபோது, ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்றெடுத்து,

And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begot a son.

29 ௨௯ “யெகோவா சபித்த பூமியிலே நமக்கு உண்டான வேலையிலும், நம்முடைய கைகளின் பிரயாசத்திலும், இவன் நம்மைத் தேற்றுவான்” என்று சொல்லி, அவனுக்கு நோவா என்று பெயரிட்டான்.

And he called his name Noah, saying: 'This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh from the ground which the LORD hath cursed.'

30 ௩0 லாமேக்கு நோவாவைப் பெற்றபின், 595 வருடங்கள் உயிரோடிருந்து, மகன்களையும், மகள்களையும் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Lamech lived after he begot Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begot sons and daughters.

31 ௩௧ லாமேக்குடைய நாட்களெல்லாம் 777 வருடங்கள்; அவன் இறந்தான்.

And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years; and he died.

32 ௩௨ நோவா 500 வயதானபோது சேம், காம், யாப்பேத் என்பவர்களைப் பெற்றெடுத்தான்.

And Noah was five hundred years old; and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
