ஆதியாகமம் 39
1 ௧ யோசேப்பு எகிப்திற்குக் கொண்டு போகப்பட்டான். பார்வோனுடைய அதிகாரியும் மெய்க்காப்பாளர்களுக்குத் தலைவனுமாகிய போத்திபார் என்னும் எகிப்து தேசத்தான் அவனை அந்த இடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவந்த இஸ்மவேலரிடத்தில் விலைக்கு வாங்கினான்.

2 ௨ யெகோவா யோசேப்போடு இருந்தார், அவன் காரியசித்தியுள்ளவனானான்; அவன் எகிப்தியனாகிய தன் எஜமானுடைய வீட்டிலே இருந்தான்.

3 ௩ யெகோவா அவனோடு இருக்கிறார் என்றும், அவன் செய்கிற அனைத்தையும் யெகோவா வாய்க்கச்செய்கிறார் என்றும், அவனுடைய எஜமான் கண்டு;
and to see: see lord his for LORD with him and all which he/she/it to make: do LORD to prosper in/on/with hand his
4 ௪ யோசேப்பினிடத்தில் தயவுவைத்து, அவனைத் தனக்கு வேலைக்காரனும் தன் வீட்டிற்கு விசாரணைக்காரனுமாக்கி, தனக்கு உண்டான அனைத்தையும் அவனுடைய கையில் ஒப்புவித்தான்.
and to find Joseph favor in/on/with eye: seeing his and to minister [obj] him and to reckon: overseer him upon house: household his and all there to/for him to give: put in/on/with hand: power his
5 ௫ அவனைத் தன் வீட்டிற்கும் தனக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் விசாரணைக்காரனாக்கினது முதற்கொண்டு, யெகோவா யோசேப்பின்மூலம் அந்த எகிப்தியன் வீட்டை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்; வீட்டிலும் வெளியிலும் அவனுக்கு உண்டானவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆசீர்வாதம் இருந்தது.
and to be from the past to reckon: overseer [obj] him in/on/with house: household his and upon all which there to/for him and to bless LORD [obj] house: household [the] Egyptian in/on/with because of Joseph and to be blessing LORD in/on/with all which there to/for him in/on/with house: home and in/on/with land: country
6 ௬ ஆகையால், அவன் தனக்கு உண்டானதையெல்லாம் யோசேப்பின் கையிலே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்துவிட்டு, தான் சாப்பிடுகிற உணவு தவிர தன்னிடத்திலிருந்த மற்றொன்றைக்குறித்தும் விசாரிக்காமல் இருந்தான். யோசேப்பு அழகான ரூபமும் சௌந்தரிய முகமும் உள்ளவனாயிருந்தான்.

7 ௭ சிலநாட்கள் சென்றபின், அவனுடைய எஜமானின் மனைவி யோசேப்பின்மேல் மோகம்கொண்டு, “என்னோடு உறவுகொள்” என்றாள்.

8 ௮ அவனோ தன் எஜமானுடைய மனைவியின் சொல்லுக்குச் சம்மதிக்காமல், அவளை நோக்கி: “இதோ, வீட்டிலே என்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறவைகளில் ஒன்றைக்குறித்தும் என் ஆண்டவன் விசாரிக்காமல், தமக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் என்னுடைய கையில் ஒப்படைத்திருக்கிறார்.

9 ௯ இந்த வீட்டிலே என்னிலும் பெரியவன் இல்லை; நீ அவருடைய மனைவியாக இருப்பதால் உன்னைத்தவிர வேறோன்றையும் அவர் எனக்கு விலக்கி வைக்கவில்லை; இப்படியிருக்கும்போது, நான் இத்தனை பெரிய பொல்லாங்குக்கு உடன்பட்டு, தேவனுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாவம் செய்வது எப்படி” என்றான்.

10 ௧0 அவள் தொடர்ந்து யோசேப்போடு இப்படிப் பேசிக்கொண்டு வந்தும், அவன் அவளுடனே உறவுகொள்ளவும் அவளுடனே இருக்கவும் சம்மதிக்கவில்லை.

11 ௧௧ இப்படியிருக்கும்போது, ஒருநாள் அவன் தன் வேலையைச் செய்கிறதற்கு வீட்டிற்குள் போனான்; வீட்டு மனிதர்களில் ஒருவரும் வீட்டில் இல்லை.

12 ௧௨ அப்பொழுது அவள் அவனுடைய உடையைப் பற்றிப் பிடித்து, “என்னோடு உறவுகொள் என்றாள். அவனோ தன் உடையை அவள் கையிலே விட்டுவிட்டு வெளியே ஓடிப்போனான்.

14 ௧௪ அவள் தன் வீட்டு மனிதரைக் கூப்பிட்டு: “பாருங்கள், எபிரெய மனிதன் நம்மை பரியாசம்செய்ய, போத்திபார் அவனை நம்மிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார், அவன் என்னோடு உறவுகொள்வதற்கு என்னிடத்தில் வந்தான்; நான் மிகுந்த சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிட்டேன்.

15 ௧௫ நான் சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிடுகிறதை அவன் கேட்டு, தன் உடையை என்னிடத்தில் விட்டுவிட்டு, வெளியே ஓடிப்போய்விட்டான்” என்று சொன்னாள்.

17 ௧௭ அவனை நோக்கி: “நீர் நம்மிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்த அந்த எபிரெய வேலைக்காரன் தவறான எண்ணத்துடன் என்னிடத்தில் வந்தான்.
and to speak: speak to(wards) him like/as word [the] these to/for to say to come (in): come to(wards) me [the] servant/slave [the] Hebrew which to come (in): bring to/for us to/for to laugh in/on/with me
18 ௧௮ அப்பொழுது நான் சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிட்டேன், அவன் தன் உடையை என்னிடத்தில் விட்டுவிட்டு வெளியே ஓடிப்போனான்” என்றாள்.
and to be like/as to exalt I voice my and to call: call out and to leave: forsake garment his beside me and to flee [the] outside [to]
19 ௧௯ உம்முடைய வேலைக்காரன் எனக்கு இப்படிச் செய்தான் என்று தன் மனைவி தன்னிடம் சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளை அவனுடைய எஜமான் கேட்டபோது, அவன் கோபமடைந்தான்.

20 ௨0 யோசேப்பின் எஜமான் அவனைப்பிடித்து, ராஜாவின் கட்டளையால் காவலில் வைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் இருக்கும் சிறைச்சாலையிலே அவனை ஒப்புவித்தான். அந்தச் சிறைச்சாலையில் அவன் இருந்தான்.

21 ௨௧ யெகோவாவோ யோசேப்போடு இருந்து, அவன்மேல் கிருபைவைத்து, சிறைச்சாலைத் தலைவனுடைய தயவு அவனுக்குக் கிடைக்கச்செய்தார்.
and to be LORD with Joseph and to stretch to(wards) him kindness and to give: give favor his in/on/with eye: seeing ruler house: home [the] prison
22 ௨௨ சிறைச்சாலைத் தலைவன் சிறைச்சாலையில் வைக்கப்பட்ட அனைவரையும் யோசேப்பின் பொறுப்பிலே ஒப்புவித்தான்; அங்கே அவர்கள் செய்வதெல்லாவற்றிற்கும் யோசேப்பு பொறுப்பாயிருந்தான்.
and to give: put ruler house: home [the] prison in/on/with hand: power Joseph [obj] all [the] prisoner which in/on/with house: home [the] prison and [obj] all which to make: do there he/she/it to be to make: do
23 ௨௩ யெகோவா அவனோடு இருந்ததினாலும், அவன் எதைச் செய்தானோ அதைக் யெகோவா வாய்க்கச்செய்ததாலும், அவன் வசமாயிருந்த ஒன்றையும் குறித்துச் சிறைச்சாலைத் தலைவன் விசாரிக்கவில்லை.
