எஸ்றா 3
1 ௧ இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் பாபிலோனின் சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்து திரும்பி வந்து பட்டணங்களிலே குடியேறி, ஏழாம் மாதமானபோது, மக்கள் ஒரேமனதுடன் எருசலேமிலே கூடினார்கள்.
And the seventh month comes, and the sons of Israel [are] in the cities, and the people are gathered, as one man, to Jerusalem.
2 ௨ அப்பொழுது யோசதாக்கின் மகனாகிய யெசுவாவும், அவன் சகோதரர்களாகிய ஆசாரியர்களும், செயல்தியேலின் மகனாகிய செருபாபேலும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களும் எழும்பி, தேவனுடைய மனிதனாகிய மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறமுறையில் சர்வாங்கதகனங்களைப் பலியிடும்படிக்கு, இஸ்ரவேலுடைய தேவனின் பலிபீடத்தைக் கட்டினார்கள்.
And Jeshua son of Jozadak rises, and his brothers the priests, and Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and his brothers, and they build the altar of the God of Israel, to cause to ascend on it burnt-offerings, as it is written in the Law of Moses, the man of God.
3 ௩ அவர்கள் அந்த தேசத்தின் மக்களுக்கு பயந்ததால், பலிபீடத்தை அதின் ஆதாரங்களின்மேல் ஸ்தாபித்து, அதின்மேல் அவர்களுடைய யெகோவாவுக்கு காலை மாலை சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளைச் செலுத்தினார்கள்.
And they establish the altar on its bases, because of the fear on them of the peoples of the lands, and he causes burnt-offerings to ascend on it to YHWH, burnt-offerings for the morning and for the evening.
4 ௪ எழுதியிருக்கிறமுறையில் அவர்கள் கூடாரப்பண்டிகையை அனுசரித்து, நித்திய நியமத்தின்முறையிலும் அன்றாடகக் கணக்கு வரிசையில் ஒவ்வொரு நாளிலும் பலியிட்டார்கள்.
And they make the Celebration of the Shelters as it is written, and the burnt-offering of the day daily in number according to the ordinance, the matter of a day in its day;
5 ௫ அதற்குப்பின்பு அனுதினமும், மாதப்பிறப்புகளிலும், யெகோவாவுடைய அனைத்து பரிசுத்த பண்டிகைகளிலும் செலுத்தும் சர்வாங்கதகனபலியையும், யெகோவாவுக்கு அவரவர் செலுத்தும் உற்சாகபலியையும் செலுத்தினார்கள்.
and after this a continual burnt-offering, and for new moons, and for all appointed times of YHWH that are sanctified; and for everyone who is willingly offering a willing-offering to YHWH.
6 ௬ ஏழாம் மாதம் முதல் தேதியில் யெகோவாவுக்கு சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளைச் செலுத்தத் துவங்கினார்கள்; ஆனாலும் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தின் அஸ்திபாரம் இன்னும் போடப்படவில்லை.
From the first day of the seventh month they have begun to cause burnt-offerings to ascend to YHWH, and the temple of YHWH has not been founded,
7 ௭ அப்பொழுது பெர்சியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய கோரேஸ் தங்களுக்குப் பிறப்பித்த உத்திரவின்படியே அவர்கள் கல்தச்சர்களுக்கும் தச்சருக்கும் பணத்தையும், லீபனோனிலிருந்து கேதுருமரங்களைக் மத்திய தரைக் கடல்வழியாக யோப்பாவரை கொண்டுவரச் சீதோனியர்களுக்கும் தீரியர்களுக்கும் உணவையும் தண்ணீரையும் எண்ணெயையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
and they give money to hewers and to craftsmen, and food, and drink, and oil to Zidonians and to Tyrians, to bring in cedar-trees from Lebanon to the Sea of Joppa, according to the permission of Cyrus king of Persia concerning them.
8 ௮ அவர்கள் எருசலேமிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்திற்கு வந்த இரண்டாம் வருடம் இரண்டாம் மாதத்திலே, செயல்தியேலின் மகனாகிய செருபாபேலும், யோசதாக்கின் மகனாகிய யெசுவாவும், மற்றும் அவர்களுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய ஆசாரியர்களும் லேவியர்களும், சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்து எருசலேமுக்கு வந்த அனைவரும், ஆரம்பம்செய்து, இருபதுவயதுமுதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட லேவியர்களைக் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தின் வேலையை நடத்தும்படி வைத்தார்கள்.
And in the second year of their coming to the house of God, to Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brothers the priests and the Levites, and all those coming from the captivity to Jerusalem, and they appoint the Levites from a son of twenty years and upward, to overlook the work of the house of YHWH.
9 ௯ அப்படியே தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் வேலையைச் செய்கிறவர்களை நடத்துவதற்காக யெசுவாவும் அவனுடைய மகன்களும், சகோதரர்களும், கத்மியேலும் அவனுடைய மகன்களும், யூதாவின் மகன்களும், எனாதாதின் மகன்களும், அவர்களுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய லேவியர்களும் ஒருமனப்பட்டு நின்றார்கள்.
And Jeshua stands, [and] his sons, and his brothers, Kadmiel and his sons, sons of Judah together, to overlook those doing the work in the house of God; the sons of Henadad, [and] their sons and their brothers the Levites.
10 ௧0 சிற்ப ஆசாரிகள் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திற்கு அஸ்திபாரம் போடுகிறபோது, இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாவாகிய தாவீதுடைய கட்டளையின்படியே, யெகோவாவை துதிப்பதற்கு, ஆடைகளை அணிந்து, பூரிகைகளை ஊதுகிற ஆசாரியர்களையும், தாளங்களைத் தட்டுகிற ஆசாபின் மகனாகிய லேவியர்களையும் நிறுத்தினார்கள்.
And those building have founded the temple of YHWH, and they appoint the priests, clothed, with trumpets, and the Levites, sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise YHWH, by means of [the instruments of] David king of Israel.
11 ௧௧ யெகோவா நல்லவர், இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் அவருடைய கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது என்று அவரைப் புகழ்ந்து துதிக்கும்போது, மாறிமாறிப் பாடினார்கள்; யெகோவாவை துதிக்கும்போது, மக்கள் எல்லோரும் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தின் அஸ்திபாரம் போடப்படுவதினால் மகா கெம்பீரமாக ஆர்ப்பரித்தார்கள்.
And they respond in praising and in giving thanks to YHWH, “For [He is] good, for His kindness [is] for all time over Israel!” And all the people have shouted [with] a great shout in giving praise to YHWH, because the house of YHWH has been founded.
12 ௧௨ முந்தின ஆலயத்தைப் பார்த்திருந்த முதிர்வயதான ஆசாரியர்களிலும், லேவியர்களிலும், பிதாக்கள் வம்சங்களின் தலைவர்களிலும் அநேகர் இந்த ஆலயத்திற்குத் தங்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அஸ்திபாரம் போடப்படுகிறதைக் கண்டபோது, மகா சத்தமிட்டு அழுதார்கள்; வேறே அநேகம்பேரோ கெம்பீர சந்தோஷமாக ஆர்ப்பரித்தார்கள்.
And many of the priests, and the Levites, and the heads of the fathers, the aged men who had seen the first house—in this house being founded before their eyes—are weeping with a loud voice, and many with a shout, in joy, lifting up the voice;
13 ௧௩ மக்கள் மகா கெம்பீரமாக ஆர்ப்பரிக்கிறதினால் அவர்களுடைய சத்தம் வெகுதூரம் கேட்கப்பட்டது; ஆனாலும் சந்தோஷ ஆரவாரத்தின் சத்தம் இன்னதென்றும், மக்களுடைய அழுகையின் சத்தம் இன்னதென்றும் பகுத்தறிய முடியாதிருந்தது.
and the people are not discerning the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people, for the people are shouting [with] a great shout, and the noise has been heard to a distance.
