எசேக்கியேல் 29
1 ௧ பாபிலோனின் சிறையிருப்பின் பத்தாம் வருடம் பத்தாம் மாதத்தின் பன்னிரண்டாம் நாளிலே யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:
In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 ௨ மனிதகுமாரனே, நீ எகிப்தின் ராஜாவாகிய பார்வோனுக்கு முன்பாக உன்னுடைய முகத்தைத் திருப்பி, அவனுக்கும் எகிப்து முழுதுக்கும் விரோதமாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லி, சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்:
"Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.
3 ௩ யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார், எகிப்தின் ராஜாவாகிய பார்வோனே. நீ உன்னுடைய நதிகளின் நடுவிலே படுத்துக்கொண்டு: என்னுடைய நதி என்னுடையது, நான் அதை எனக்காக உண்டாக்கினேன் என்று சொல்லுகிற பெரிய முதலையே, இதோ, நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாக வந்து,
Speak and say, 'Thus says the LORD: "Look, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lies in the midst of his rivers, that has said, 'My river is my own, and I have made it for myself.'
4 ௪ உன்னுடைய வாயிலே துறடுகளை மாட்டி, உன்னுடைய நதிகளின் மீன்களை உன்னுடைய செதிள்களில் ஒட்டிக்கொள்ளும்படி செய்து, உன்னை உன்னுடைய நதிகளின் நடுவிலிருந்து தூக்கிவிடுவேன்; உன்னுடைய நதிகளின் மீன்கள் எல்லாம் உன்னுடைய செதில்களில் ஒட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்.
I will put hooks in your jaws, and I will make the fish of your rivers stick to your scales; and I will bring you up out of the midst of your rivers, with all the fish of your rivers which stick to your scales.
5 ௫ உன்னையும் உன்னுடைய நதிகளின் எல்லா மீன்களையும் வனாந்திரத்திலே போட்டுவிடுவேன்; வெட்டவெளியிலே விழுவாய்; நீ சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளப்படுவதில்லை; உன்னை பூமியின் மிருகங்களுக்கும் ஆகாயத்தின் பறவைகளுக்கும் இரையாகக் கொடுப்பேன்.
I'll cast you forth into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers. You'll fall on the open field. You won't be brought together, nor gathered. I have given you for food to the animals of the earth and to the birds of the sky.
6 ௬ அப்பொழுது எகிப்துதேசத்தின் குடிகளெல்லோரும் நான் யெகோவா என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்; அவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு நாணல் கோலாக இருந்தார்களே.
All the inhabitants of Egypt will know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
7 ௭ அவர்கள் உன்னைக் கையிலே பிடிக்கும்போது, நீ ஒடிந்துபோய், அவர்கள் விலாவையெல்லாம் பிளப்பாய்; அவர்கள் உன்மேல் சாயும்போது, நீ முறிந்து, அவர்கள் இடுப்பு முழுவதையும் மரத்துப் போகச்செய்வாய்.
When they took hold of you with their hand, you splintered and dislocated their shoulders; and when they leaned on you, you shattered and caused their legs to be unsteady."
8 ௮ ஆகையால் யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, நான் உன்மேல் வாளை வரச்செய்து, உன்னில் மனிதர்களையும் மிருகங்களையும் வெட்டிப்போடுவேன்.
"'Therefore thus says the LORD: "Look, I will bring a sword on you, and will cut off man and animal from you.
9 ௯ எகிப்துதேசம் பாழும் வனாந்திரமுமாகும்; அப்பொழுது நான் யெகோவா என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்: நைல் நதி என்னுடையது, நான் அதை உண்டாக்கினேன் என்று சொன்னானே.
The land of Egypt shall be a desolation and a waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD. Because he has said, 'The river is mine, and I have made it;'
10 ௧0 ஆகையால், இதோ, நான் உனக்கும் உன்னுடைய நதிகளுக்கும் விரோதமாக வந்து, மிக்தோல்முதல் எத்தியோப்பியாவின் எல்லையிலுள்ள செவெனேவரைக்கும் எகிப்துதேசத்தை அவாந்தரமும் பாழுமான வனாந்திரங்களாக்குவேன்.
therefore, look, I am against you, and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from the tower of Syene even to the border of Ethiopia.
11 ௧௧ மனிதனுடைய கால் அதைக் கடப்பதுமில்லை, மிருகஜீவனுடைய கால் அதை மிதிப்பதுமில்லை; அது நாற்பது வருடம் குடியில்லாதிருக்கும்.
No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of animal shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
12 ௧௨ எகிப்துதேசத்தைப் பாழாய்ப்போன தேசங்களின் நடுவிலே பாழாய்ப்போகச்செய்வேன்; அதின் பட்டணங்கள் வெறுமையாக்கப்பட்ட பட்டணங்களின் நடுவிலே நாற்பதுவருடங்கள் பாழாய்க்கிடக்கும்; நான் எகிப்தியர்களைத் தேசங்களுக்குள்ளே சிதறடித்து, அவர்களைத் தேசங்களுக்குள்ளே தூற்றிவிடுவேன்.
I will make the land of Egypt a desolation in the midst of the countries that are desolate; and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be a desolation forty years; and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries."
13 ௧௩ யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நாற்பதுவருடங்கள் முடியும்போது, நான் எகிப்தியர்களை அவர்கள் சிதறப்பட்டிருக்கிற மக்களிடத்திலிருந்து சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு,
"'For thus says the LORD: "At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the peoples where they were scattered;
14 ௧௪ எகிப்தியர்களின் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்பி, அவர்களை அவர்களுடைய பிறப்பின் தேசமாகிய பத்ரோஸ் தேசத்திலே திரும்பி வரச்செய்வேன்; அங்கே அவர்கள் முக்கியமில்லாத ராஜ்ஜியமாக இருப்பார்கள்.
and I will bring back the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their birth; and they shall be there a base kingdom.
15 ௧௫ அது இனி தேசங்களின்மேல் தன்னை உயர்த்தாமல், மற்ற ராஜ்ஜியங்களிலும் முக்கியமற்றதாக இருக்கும்; அவர்கள் இனி தேசங்களை ஆளாதபடி அவர்களைக் குறுகிப்போகச்செய்வேன்.
It shall be the base of the kingdoms; neither shall it any more lift itself up above the nations: and I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
16 ௧௬ அவர்களின் பின்னேபோய், அவர்களை நோக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறதினால் இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் எனக்குத் தங்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை நினைப்பூட்டாதபடி, இனி அவர்கள் இவர்களுடைய நம்பிக்கையாக இல்லாமற்போவார்கள்; அப்பொழுது நான் யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.
It shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to memory, when they turn to look after them: and they shall know that I am the LORD."'"
17 ௧௭ பாபிலோனின் சிறையிருப்பின் இருபத்தேழாம்வருடம் முதலாம் மாதம் முதலாம் நாளிலே, யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:
It came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
18 ௧௮ மனிதகுமாரனே, பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் தீருவின் முன்னே தன்னுடைய சேனையினிடத்தில் கடும் வேலை வாங்கினான்; ஒவ்வொரு தலையும் மொட்டையானது; ஒவ்வொரு தோள்பட்டையின் தோலும் உரிந்துபோனது; ஆனாலும் அவன் தீருவுக்கு விரோதமாகச் செய்த வேலையினால் அவனுக்கோ அவனுடைய சேனைக்கோ கூலி கிடைக்கவில்லை.
"Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was worn; yet had he no wages, nor his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it.
19 ௧௯ ஆகையால் யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, நான் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாருக்கு எகிப்துதேசத்தைக் கொடுக்கிறேன்; அவன் அதின் ஏராளமான மக்களைச் சிறைபிடித்து அதின் செல்வத்தைச் சூறையாடி, அதின் கொள்ளைப்பொருளை எடுத்துக்கொள்வான்; இது அவனுடைய சேனைக்குக் கூலியாக இருக்கும்.
Therefore thus says the LORD: 'Look, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and he shall carry off her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
20 ௨0 அவன் அதிலே செய்த வேலைக்கு எகிப்துதேசத்தை நான் அவனுக்குக் கூலியாகக் கொடுத்தேன்; எனக்காக அதைச் செய்தார்களென்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
I have given him the land of Egypt as his recompense for which he served, because they worked for me,' says the LORD.
21 ௨௧ அந்த நாளிலே நான் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் கொம்பை முளைக்கச்செய்து, அவர்களுடைய நடுவிலே தாராளமாகப் பேசும் வாயை உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவேன்; அப்பொழுது நான் யெகோவா என்று அறிந்து கொள்வார்கள் என்றார்.
'In that day will I cause a horn to bud forth to the house of Israel, and I will give you the opening of the mouth in their midst; and they shall know that I am the LORD.'"
