எசேக்கியேல் 22
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 ௨ இப்போதும் மனிதகுமாரனே, இரத்தம்சிந்தின நகரத்துக்காக நீ வழக்காடுவாயோ? வழக்காட மனதிருந்தால், நீ அதின் அருவருப்புகளையெல்லாம் அதற்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தி,
And thou, son of man, wilt thou take to task, wilt thou take to task the city of blood? and wilt thou make her know all her abominations?
3 ௩ அதை நோக்கி: யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், உன்னுடைய காலம் வரக்கூடியதாக உன்னுடைய நடுவிலே இரத்தம்சிந்துகிறதும், உன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தத்தக்கதாக உனக்கே விரோதமாக அசுத்தமான சிலைகளை உண்டாக்கின நகரமே,
Then say thou, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, O city that sheddeth blood in her midst, that her time [of sorrow] may come, and that hath made idols for herself to become unclean:
4 ௪ நீ சிந்தின உன்னுடைய இரத்தத்தினால் நீ குற்றம்சுமந்ததாகி நீ உண்டாக்கின உன்னுடைய அசுத்தமான சிலைகளால் நீ தீட்டுப்பட்டு, உன்னுடைய நாட்களை நெருங்கச்செய்து, உன்னுடைய வருடங்களை நிறைவேற்றினாய்; ஆகையால் நான் உன்னைப் அந்நியமக்களுக்கு நிந்தையாகவும், தேசங்களுக்கெல்லாம் பரியாசமாகவும் வைப்பேன்.
Through thy blood which thou hast shed, are thou become guilty; and through thy idols which thou hast made art thou become unclean; and thou hast caused thy days [of destruction] to draw near, and thou art come even unto thy years; therefore do I make thee a disgrace unto the nations, and a mocking to all the countries.
5 ௫ உனக்கு அருகிலும் உனக்குத் தூரமுமான தேசங்களின் மனிதர்கள் நீ பெயர்கெட்டதென்றும், அமளி பெருத்ததென்றும் உன்னைப் பரியாசம்செய்வார்கள்.
Those who are near, and those who are far from thee, shall mock thee, O thou unclean in name, and great in confusion!
6 ௬ இதோ, இஸ்ரவேலின் அதிபதிகளில் அவரவர் தங்களுடைய புயபலத்திற்குத் தக்கதாக, உன்னில் இரத்தம் சிந்தினார்கள்.
Behold, the princes of Israel were each [ready] with his arm within thee, in order to shed blood.
7 ௭ உன்னிலுள்ள தாய் தகப்பனை அற்பமாக நினைத்தார்கள்; உன்னுடைய நடுவில் பரதேசிக்கு இடையூறு செய்தார்கள்; உனக்குள் திக்கற்றவனையும் விதவையையும் ஒடுக்கினார்கள்.
Father and mother they esteemed lightly within thee, toward the stranger they acted with extortion in the midst of thee, the fatherless and the widow they oppressed within thee.
8 ௮ நீ என்னுடைய பரிசுத்த பொருட்களை அசட்டைசெய்து, என்னுடைய ஓய்வு நாட்களை பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்கினாய்.
My holy things thou didst despise, and my sabbaths thou didst profane.
9 ௯ இரத்தம்சிந்தும்படி பொய் பேசுகிறவர்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; மலைகளின்மேல் சாப்பிடுகிறவர்களும் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; முறைகேடு செய்கிறவர்கள் உன்னுடைய நடுவில் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
Tale-bearers [also] were within thee, in order to shed blood; and upon the mountains did they eat within thee; incest did they commit in the midst of thee.
10 ௧0 தகப்பனை நிர்வாணமாக்கினவர்கள் உன்னில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; தீட்டுப்பட்ட பெண்ணை பலவந்தப்படுத்தினவர்கள் உன்னில் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
Their father's nakedness they uncovered within thee; her that was unclean in her separation did they violate within thee.
11 ௧௧ உன்னில் ஒருவன் தன்னுடைய அயலானுடைய மனைவியுடன் அருவருப்பானதைச் செய்கிறான்; வேறொருவன் முறைகேடாகத் தன்னுடைய மருமகளைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்துகிறான்; வேறொருவன் தன்னுடைய தகப்பனுக்குப் பிறந்த தன்னுடைய சகோதரியைப் பலவந்தம்செய்கிறான்.
And one with his neighbor's wife did commit abomination; and another did defile his daughter-in-law with incest; and another did violate his sister, the daughter of his father, within thee.
12 ௧௨ இரத்தம்சிந்தும்படி லஞ்சம் வாங்கினவர்கள் உன்னில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; நீ வட்டியையும் அதிக வட்டியும் வாங்கி, பொருளாசையினால் உன்னுடைய அயலானுக்கு இடையூறு செய்து, என்னை மறந்துபோனாய் என்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
Bribes they took within thee, in order to shed blood; interest and increase didst thou take, and thou didst acquire gain off thy neighbors by extortion: and me thou didst forget, saith the Lord Eternal.
13 ௧௩ இதோ, நீ அநியாயமாகச் சம்பாதித்த பொருளினால், உன்னுடைய நடுவில் நீ சிந்தின இரத்தத்திற்காக நான் கைகொட்டுகிறேன்.
And behold, I have struck my hands together at thy wrongful gain which thou hast acquired, and at thy blood-guilt which hath been in the midst of thee.
14 ௧௪ நான் உன்னில் நியாயம்செய்யும் நாட்களில் உன்னுடைய இருதயம் தாங்குமோ? அப்பொழுது உன்னுடைய கைகள் திடமாக இருக்குமோ? யெகோவாகிய நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன், இதை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.
Will thy courage endure, or will thy hands remain strong, on the days that I will deal with thee? I the Lord have spoken, and will do it.
15 ௧௫ நான் உன்னைப் அந்நியஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே சிதறடித்து, உன்னை தேசங்களிலே தூற்றி, உன்னுடைய அசுத்தத்தை உன்னில் ஒழியச்செய்வேன்.
And I will scatter thee among the nations, and disperse thee in the countries, and I will entirely remove thy uncleanness out of thee.
16 ௧௬ நீ அந்நியதேசங்களின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக இருந்து, நான் யெகோவா என்று அறிந்துகொள்வாய் என்று சொல் என்றார்.
And thou shalt be degraded through thyself before the eyes of nations, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
18 ௧௮ மனிதகுமாரனே, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் எனக்கு பயனற்று போனார்கள்; அவர்களெல்லோரும் குகையிலுள்ள பித்தளையும் தகரமும் இரும்பும் ஈயமுமாக இருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் வெள்ளியின் கழிவாகப் போனார்கள்.
Son of man, the house of Israel are become to me dross: they all are copper, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; the dross of silver are they become.
19 ௧௯ ஆதலால், யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நீங்களெல்லாரும் கழிவாகப் போனபடியினால், இதோ, நான் உங்களை எருசலேமுக்குள் சேர்ப்பேன்.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because ye are all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
20 ௨0 வெள்ளியையும், பித்தளையையும், இரும்பையும், ஈயத்தையும், தகரத்தையும் நெருப்பில் ஊதி உருக்குவதற்காகக் குகைக்குள் சேர்க்கிறதுபோல, நான் என்னுடைய கோபத்தினாலும் என்னுடைய கடுங்கோபத்தினாலும் உங்களைச் சேர்த்துவைத்து உருக்குவேன்.
As silver, and copper, and iron, and lead, and tin are gathered into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it: so will I gather you in my anger and in my fury and I will lay you down there, and melt you.
21 ௨௧ நான் உங்களைக் கூட்டி, என்னுடைய கோபமாகிய நெருப்பை உங்கள்மேல் ஊதுவேன்; அதற்குள்ளே நீங்கள் உருகுவீர்கள்.
Yea, I will assemble you in a heap, and blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst of it.
22 ௨௨ குகைக்குள் வெள்ளி உருகுகிறதுபோல, நீங்கள் அதற்குள் உருகுவீர்கள்; அப்பொழுது யெகோவாகிய நான் என்னுடைய கடுங்கோபத்தை உங்கள்மேல் ஊற்றிவிட்டேன் என்று அறிந்து கொள்வீர்கள் என்றார்.
As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst of it: and ye shall know that I am the Lord who have poured out my fury over you.
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
24 ௨௪ மனிதகுமாரனே, நீ தேசத்தைப்பார்த்து: நீ சுத்தம் செய்யப்படாத தேசம், கோபத்தின் காலத்தில் மழை பெய்யாத தேசம் என்று அதற்குச் சொல்லு.
Son of man, say unto her, Thou art a land that is not cleansed; [and] which is not rained upon on the day of indignation.
25 ௨௫ அதிலுள்ள தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் அதின் நடுவில் கட்டுப்பாடு செய்கிறார்கள்; கெர்ச்சிக்கிற சிங்கம் இரை கவ்வுகிறதுபோல, ஆத்துமாக்களை அவர்கள் விழுங்குகிறார்கள்; செல்வத்தையும் விலையுயர்ந்த பொருள்களையும் வாங்கிக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; அதின் நடுவில் அநேகரை விதவைகளாக்குகிறார்கள்.
The banded troop of her prophets in the midst of her is like a roaring lion that teareth in pieces the prey: souls do they devour; wealth and precious things do they take away; the number of her widows do they increase in the midst of her.
26 ௨௬ அதின் ஆசாரியர்கள் என்னுடைய வேதத்திற்கு அநியாயம்செய்து, என்னுடைய பரிசுத்த பொருட்களைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்குகிறார்கள்; பரிசுத்தம் உள்ளதற்கும் பரிசுத்தம் இல்லாததற்கும் வித்தியாசம் உண்டாக்காமலும், அசுத்தம் உள்ளதற்கும் அசுத்தம் இல்லாததற்கும் உண்டான வேற்றுமையைக் காண்பிக்காமலும் இருந்து, என்னுடைய ஓய்வுநாட்களுக்குத் தங்களுடைய கண்களை மூடிக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் நடுவிலே நான் அவமதிக்கப்படுகிறேன்.
Her priests violate my law, and profane my holy things: between the holy and profane do they make no distinction, and the difference between the unclean and the clean do they not make known, and from [the violation of] my sabbaths do they turn away their eyes, so that I am profaned among them.
27 ௨௭ அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கிற அதின் பிரபுக்கள் இரை கவ்வுகிற ஓநாய்களைப்போல் இருக்கிறார்கள்; அநியாயமாகப் பொருள் சம்பாதிக்கிறதற்கு இரத்தம் சிந்துகிறார்கள், ஆத்துமாக்களைக் கொள்ளையிடுகிறார்கள்.
Her princes in her midst are like wolves that tear in pieces the prey, to shed blood, to destroy souls, in order to obtain selfish gain.
28 ௨௮ அதின் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் பொய்யானதை பார்த்து, பொய்ச்சாஸ்திரத்தை அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லி, யெகோவா சொல்லாமலிருந்தும், யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொன்னாரென்று சொல்லி, அவர்களுக்குச் சாரமற்ற சாந்தைப் பூசுகிறார்கள்.
And her prophets plastered for them with unadhesive mortar, foreseeing falsehood, and divining unto them lies, saying, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal; when the Lord had not spoken.
29 ௨௯ தேசத்தின் மக்கள் இடையூறு செய்து, கொள்ளையடித்து, சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவனை ஒடுக்கி, அந்நியனை அநியாயமாகத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.
The people of the land are guilty of extortion, and practise robbery, and the poor and the needy they defraud: and they extort from the stranger with injustice.
30 ௩0 நான் தேசத்தை அழிக்காதபடிக்குத் திறப்பிலே நிற்கவும் சுவரை அடைக்கவும் தகுந்த ஒரு மனிதனைத் தேடினேன், ஒருவனையும் காணவில்லை.
And I seek now among them for a man, that could erect a fence, and stand in the breach before me in behalf of the land, so that I should not destroy it; but I find none.
31 ௩௧ ஆகையால், நான் அவர்கள்மேல் என்னுடைய கோபத்தை ஊற்றி, என்னுடைய கடுங்கோபத்தின் நெருப்பால் அவர்களை அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய வழியின் பலனை அவர்கள் தலையின்மேல் சுமத்துவேன் என்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார்.
And I therefore pour out over them my indignation; with the fire of my wrath do I make an end of them: their own way do I bring upon their head, saith the Lord Eternal.
