தானியேல் 8
1 ௧ தானியேலாகிய எனக்கு முதலில் காண்பிக்கப்பட்ட தரிசனத்திற்குப்பின்பு, ராஜாவாகிய பெல்ஷாத்சார் ஆட்சிசெய்த மூன்றாம் வருடத்திலே வேறொரு தரிசனம் எனக்குக் காண்பிக்கப்பட்டது.

2 ௨ தரிசனத்திலே நான் கண்டது என்னவென்றால்: நான் பார்க்கும்போது ஏலாம் தேசத்திலுள்ள சூசான் அரண்மனையில் இருந்தேன்; அங்கே நான் ஊலாய் என்னும் ஆற்றங்கரையில் இருந்ததாகத் தரிசனத்திலே கண்டேன்.

3 ௩ நான் என் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்துப்பார்த்தேன்; இதோ, இரண்டு கொம்புகளுள்ள ஒரு ஆட்டுக்கடா ஆற்றின் முன்பாக நின்றது; அதின் இரண்டு கொம்புகளும் உயர்ந்தவைகளாக இருந்தது; ஆனாலும் அவைகளில் ஒன்று மற்றதைவிட உயர்ந்திருந்தது; உயர்ந்தகொம்பு பிந்தி முளைத்தெழும்பியது.

4 ௪ அந்த ஆட்டுக்கடா மேற்கும் வடக்கும் தெற்கும் பாய்கிறதைக் கண்டேன்; ஒரு மிருகமும் அதின் முன்னே நிற்கமுடியாமலிருந்தது; அதின் கைக்குத் தப்புவிப்பவருமில்லை; அது தன் விருப்பப்படியே செய்து வல்லமைகொண்டது.

5 ௫ நான் அதைக் கவனித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, இதோ, மேற்கேயிருந்து ஒரு வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடா நிலத்திலே கால்பதிக்காமல் தேசத்தின்மீதெங்கும் சென்றது; அந்த வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவின் கண்களுக்கு நடுவே விசேஷித்த ஒரு கொம்பு இருந்தது.

6 ௬ நான் ஆற்றின் முன்பாக நிற்கக்கண்ட இரண்டு கொம்புகளுள்ள ஆட்டுக்கடா இருக்கும் இடம்வரை அது வந்து, தன் பலத்தின் உக்கிரத்தோடே அதற்கு எதிராகப் பாய்ந்தது.
and to come (in): come till [the] ram master: owning [the] horn which to see: see to stand: stand to/for face: before [the] river and to run: run to(wards) him in/on/with rage strength his
7 ௭ அது ஆட்டுக்கடாவின் அருகில் வரக்கண்டேன்; அது ஆட்டுக்கடாவின்மேல் கடுங்கோபங்கொண்டு, அதை முட்டி, அதின் இரண்டு கொம்புகளையும் முறித்துப்போட்டது; அதின் முன் நிற்க ஆட்டுக்கடாவிற்குப் பலமில்லாததால், வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடா அதைத் தரையிலே தள்ளி மிதித்துப்போட்டது; அதின் கைக்கு ஆட்டுக்கடாவைத் தப்புவிப்பவர் இல்லை.
and to see: see him to touch beside [the] ram and to provoke to(wards) him and to smite [obj] [the] ram and to break [obj] two horn his and not to be strength in/on/with ram to/for to stand: stand to/for face: before his and to throw him land: soil [to] and to trample him and not to be to rescue to/for ram from hand: power his
8 ௮ அப்பொழுது வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடா மிகவும் வல்லமைகொண்டது; அது பலங்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, அந்தப் பெரிய கொம்பு முறிந்துபோனது; அதற்குப் பதிலாக ஆகாயத்தின் நான்கு திசைகளுக்கும் எதிராக விசேஷித்த நான்குகொம்புகள் முளைத்தெழும்பின.
and male goat [the] goat to magnify till much and like/as be vast he to break [the] horn [the] great: large and to ascend: rise vision four underneath: instead her to/for four spirit: breath [the] heaven
9 ௯ அவைகளில் ஒன்றிலிருந்து சிறிய கொம்பு ஒன்று புறப்பட்டு, தெற்குக்கும், கிழக்குக்கும் எதிராகவும், அழகான தேசத்திற்கு நேராகவும் மிகவும் பெரிதானது.
and from [the] one from them to come out: come horn one from little and to magnify remainder to(wards) [the] south and to(wards) [the] east and to(wards) [the] beauty
10 ௧0 அது வானத்தின் சேனைவரை வளர்ந்து, அதின் சேனையாகிய நட்சத்திரங்களில் சிலவற்றை பூமியிலே விழச்செய்து, அவைகளை மிதித்தது.
and to magnify till army [the] heaven and to fall: fall land: soil [to] from [the] army and from [the] star and to trample them
11 ௧௧ அது சேனையினுடைய அதிபதிவரைக்கும் தன்னை உயர்த்தி, அவரிடத்திலிருந்து அனுதின பலியை அகற்றிவிட்டது; அவருடைய பரிசுத்த இடம் தள்ளப்பட்டது.
and till ruler [the] army to magnify and from him (to exalt *Q(K)*) [the] continually and to throw foundation sanctuary his
12 ௧௨ பாதகத்தினிமித்தம் அனுதின பலியுடன்கூட சேனையும் அதற்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டது; அது சத்தியத்தைத் தரையிலே தள்ளியது; அது செய்ததெல்லாம் அதற்குச் சாதகமானது.
and army to give: give upon [the] continually in/on/with transgression and to throw truth: true land: soil [to] and to make: do and to prosper
13 ௧௩ பரிசுத்தவானாகிய ஒருவன் பேசக்கேட்டேன்; அப்பொழுது வேறொரு பரிசுத்தவான், பேசினவரை நோக்கி: அனுதின பலியைக்குறித்தும், அழிவை உண்டாக்கும் பாதகத்தைக்குறித்தும், பரிசுத்த இடமும் சேனையும் மிதிக்கப்பட ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்படுவதைக்குறித்தும், உண்டான தரிசனம் எதுவரைக்கும் இருக்கும் என்று கேட்டான்.
and to hear: hear [emph?] one holy to speak: speak and to say one holy to/for certain [the] to speak: speak till how [the] vision [the] continually and [the] transgression be desolate: destroyed to give: give and holiness and army trampling
14 ௧௪ அவன் என்னை நோக்கி: இரண்டாயிரத்து முந்நூறு இரவுபகல் செல்லும்வரைக்கும் இருக்கும்; பின்பு பரிசுத்த இடம் சுத்திகரிக்கப்படும் என்றான்.
and to say to(wards) me till evening morning thousand and three hundred and to justify holiness
15 ௧௫ தானியேலாகிய நான் இந்தத் தரிசனத்தைக்கண்டு, அதின் அர்த்தத்தை அறிய முயற்சிக்கும்போது, இதோ, மனிதசாயலான ஒருவன் எனக்கு முன்னே நின்றான்.

16 ௧௬ அன்றியும் காபிரியேலே, இவனுக்குத் தரிசனத்தை விளங்கச்செய் என்று ஊலாயின் மத்தியிலே கூப்பிட்டுச் சொல்லுகிற ஒரு மனித சத்தத்தையும் கேட்டேன்.
and to hear: hear voice man between Ulai and to call: call by and to say Gabriel to understand to/for this [obj] [the] appearance
17 ௧௭ அப்பொழுது அவன் நான் நின்ற இடத்திற்கு வந்தான்; அவன் வரும்போது நான் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்து முகங்குப்புற விழுந்தேன்; அவன் என்னை நோக்கி: மனிதனே கவனி; இந்தத் தரிசனம் முடிவுகாலத்திற்குரியது என்றான்.
and to come (in): come beside post my and in/on/with to come (in): come he to terrify and to fall: fall [emph?] upon face my and to say to(wards) me to understand son: child man for to/for time end [the] vision
18 ௧௮ அவன் என்னுடன் பேசும்போது, நான் தரையில் முகங்குப்புறக்கிடந்து, அயர்ந்து தூங்கினேன்; அவனோ என்னைத்தொட்டு, நான் காலூன்றி நிற்கும்படி செய்து:

19 ௧௯ இதோ, கோபத்தின் முடிவுகாலத்திலே சம்பவிப்பதை உனக்குத் தெரிவிப்பேன்; இது குறிக்கப்பட்ட முடிவுகாலத்திற்குரியது.
and to say look! I to know you [obj] which to be in/on/with end [the] indignation for to/for meeting: time appointed end

21 ௨௧ ரோமமுள்ள அந்த வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடா கிரேக்கு தேசத்தின் ராஜா; அதின் கண்களுக்கு நடுவே இருந்த பெரிய கொம்பு அதின் முதலாம் ராஜா;

22 ௨௨ அது முறிந்துபோனபின்பு அதற்குப் பதிலாக நான்கு கொம்புகள் எழும்பினது என்னவென்றால், அந்த தேசத்திலே நான்கு ராஜ்ஜியங்கள் எழும்பும்; ஆனாலும் அவனுக்கு இருந்த வல்லமை அவைகளுக்கு இருக்காது.
and [the] to break and to stand: rise four underneath: instead her four royalty from nation to stand: rise and not in/on/with strength his
23 ௨௩ அவர்களுடைய ராஜ்ஜியபாரத்தின் கடைசிக்காலத்திலோவென்றால், பாதகருடைய பாதகம் நிறைவேறும்போது மூர்க்கமுகமும் தந்திரமான பேச்சுமுள்ள சாமர்த்தியமான ஒரு ராஜா எழும்புவான்.

24 ௨௪ அவனுடைய வல்லமை அதிகரிக்கும்; ஆனாலும் அவனுடைய சுயபலத்தினால் அல்ல, அவன் அதிசய விதமாக தீங்குசெய்து, அநுகூலம்பெற்றுச் செயல்பட்டு, பலவான்களையும் பரிசுத்த மக்களையும் அழிப்பான்.

25 ௨௫ அவன் தன் தந்திரத்தினால் வஞ்சகத்தைக் கைகூடிவரச்செய்து, தன் இருதயத்தில் பெருமைகொண்டு, அலட்சியத்துடன் இருக்கிற அநேகரை அழித்து, அதிபதிகளுக்கு அதிபதியாயிருக்கிறவருக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்புவான்; ஆனாலும் அவன் கையினாலல்ல வேறுவிதமாக முறித்துப்போடப்படுவான்.
and upon understanding his and to prosper deceit in/on/with hand: power his and in/on/with heart his to magnify and in/on/with ease to ruin many and upon ruler ruler to stand: rise and in/on/with end hand: power to break
26 ௨௬ சொல்லப்பட்ட இரவுபகல்களின் தரிசனம் சத்தியமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆதலால் இந்தத் தரிசனத்தை நீ மறைத்துவை; அதற்கு இன்னும் அநேகநாட்கள் ஆகும் என்றான்.
and appearance [the] evening and [the] morning which to say truth: true he/she/it and you(m. s.) to close [the] vision for to/for day many
27 ௨௭ தானியேலாகிய நான் சோர்வடைந்து, சிலநாட்கள் வியாதிப்பட்டிருந்தேன்; பின்பு நான் எழுந்திருந்து, ராஜாவின் வேலையைச் செய்து, அந்தத் தரிசனத்தினால் திகைத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தேன்; ஒருவருக்கும் அது தெரியாது.
and I Daniel to be and be weak: ill day and to arise: rise and to make: do [obj] work [the] king and be desolate: appalled upon [the] appearance and nothing to understand
