After that Paul departed from Attens and came to Corinthu
2 ௨ யூதரெல்லோரும் ரோமாபுரியைவிட்டுப்போகும்படி கிலவுதியு பேரரசன் கட்டளையிட்டபடியினாலே, இத்தாலியாவிலிருந்து புதிதாக வந்திருந்த பொந்து தேசத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஆக்கில்லா என்னும் பெயருள்ள ஒரு யூதனையும் அவன் மனைவியாகிய பிரிஸ்கில்லாளையும் அங்கே பார்த்து, அவர்களிடத்திற்குப் போனான்.
and founde a certayne Iewe named Aquila borne in Ponthus latly come from Italie wt his wyfe Priscilla (because that the Emperour Claudius had comaunded all Iewes to departe fro Rome) and he drewe vnto them.
3 ௩ அவர்கள் கூடாரம்பண்ணுகிற தொழிலாளிகளாக இருந்தார்கள்; தானும் அந்தத் தொழில் செய்கிறவனாக இருந்தபடியால் அவர்களோடு தங்கி, வேலை செய்துகொண்டு வந்தான்.
And because he was of the same crafte he abode with them and wrought: their crafte was to make tentes.
And he preached in ye synagoge every saboth daye and exhorted the Iewes and the gentyls.
5 ௫ மக்கெதோனியாவிலிருந்து சீலாவும் தீமோத்தேயுவும் வந்தபோது, பவுல் வைராக்கியத்தோடு, இயேசுவே கிறிஸ்து என்று யூதர்களுக்கு நிரூபித்தான்.
When Sylas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia Paul was constrayned by the sprete to testifie to the Iewes that Iesus was very Christ.
6 ௬ அவர்கள் எதிர்த்து நின்று பவுலுக்கு எதிராகப் பேசினபோது, அவன் தன் ஆடைகளை உதறி: உங்களுடைய இரத்தப்பழி உங்களுடைய தலையின்மேல் இருக்கும்; நான் சுத்தமாக இருக்கிறேன்; இனி நான் யூதர்களல்லாதவரிடத்திற்கு போவேன் என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லி,
And whe they sayde cotrary and blasphemed he shoke his rayment and sayde vnto the: youre bloud apon youre awne heeddes and fro hence forth I goo blamelesse vnto ye gentyls.
7 ௭ அந்த இடத்தைவிட்டு, தேவனை வணங்குகிறவனாகிய யுஸ்து என்பவனுடைய வீட்டிற்கு வந்தான்; அவன் வீடு ஜெப ஆலயத்திற்கு அடுத்து இருந்தது.
And he departed thence and entred into a certayne manes housse named Iustus a worshiper of god whose housse ioyned harde to ye synagoge.
8 ௮ ஜெப ஆலயத்தலைவனாகிய கிறிஸ்பு என்பவன் குடும்பமாக கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசுவாசமுள்ளவனானான். கொரிந்தியரில் அநேக மக்கள் நற்செய்தியைக் கேட்டு, விசுவாசித்து, ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றார்கள்.
How be it one Crispus ye chefe rular of the synagoge beleved on ye lorde with all his housholde and many of the Corinthias gave audience and beleved and were baptised.
Then spake the lorde to Paul in the nyght by a vision: be not afrayde but speake and holde not thy peace:
10 ௧0 நான் உன்னோடுகூட இருக்கிறேன், ஒருவனும் உனக்குத் தீங்குசெய்யமுடியாது; இந்தப் பட்டணத்தில் எனக்கு அநேக மக்கள் உண்டு என்றார்.
for I am with the and no man shall invade the that shall hurte the. For I have moche people in this cite.
11 ௧௧ அவன் ஒரு வருடம் ஆறுமாத காலங்கள் அங்கே தங்கி, தேவவசனத்தை அவர்களுக்கு உபதேசம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டுவந்தான்.
And he continued there a yeare and sixe monethes and taught them the worde of God.
12 ௧௨ கல்லியோன் என்பவன் அகாயா நாட்டிற்கு அதிபதியானபோது, யூதர்கள் ஒன்றுசேர்ந்து, பவுலுக்கு எதிராக எழும்பி, அவனை நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு கொண்டுபோய்:
When Gallio was rular of the countre of Acaia the Iewes made insurreccion with one accorde agaynst Paul and brought him to the iudgement seate
saying: this felow counceleth men to worship God contrary to ye lawe.
14 ௧௪ பவுல் பேச ஆரம்பிக்கும்போது, கல்லியோன் யூதரை நோக்கி: யூதர்களே, இது ஒரு அநியாயமாக அல்லது பொல்லாத செயலாக இருக்குமென்றால் நான் நீங்கள் சொல்வதை பொறுமையோடு கேட்பது நல்லது.
And as Paul was about to open his mouth Gallio sayde vnto ye Iewes: yf it were a matter of wronge or an evyll dede (o ye Iewes) reason wolde that I shuld heare you:
15 ௧௫ ஆனால் இது வார்த்தைகளுக்கும், நாமங்களுக்கும், உங்களுடைய வேதத்திற்கும் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட காரியமாக இருப்பதால், இவைகளைப்பற்றி, விசாரணைசெய்ய எனக்கு விருப்பமில்லை, நீங்களே பார்த்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்று சொல்லி,
but yf it be a question of wordes or of names or of youre lawe loke ye to it youre selves. For I wilbe no iudge in soche maters
and he drave them from the seate.
17 ௧௭ அப்பொழுது கிரேக்கரெல்லோரும் ஜெப ஆலயத்தலைவனாகிய சொஸ்தேனேயைப் பிடித்து, நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு முன்பாக அடித்தார்கள். இவைகளைக்குறித்துக் கல்லியோன் கவலைப்படவில்லை.
Then toke all the Grekes Sostenes the chefe rular of the synagoge and smote him before the iudges seate. And Gallio cared for none of tho thinges.
18 ௧௮ பவுல் அநேகநாட்கள் அங்கே தங்கியிருந்து, சகோதரர்களிடம் விடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டு, தனக்கு ஒரு பிராத்தனை இருக்கிறபடியால் கெங்கிரேயா பட்டணத்தில் தலைச்சவரம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டு, கப்பல் ஏறி சீரியா தேசத்திற்குப் போனான். பிரிஸ்கில்லாளும் ஆக்கில்லாவும் அவனோடுகூட போனார்கள்.
Paul after this taryed there yet a good whyle and then toke his leave of the brethren and sayled thence into Ciria Priscilla and Aquila accompanyinge him. And he shore his heed in Cenchrea for he had a vowe.
19 ௧௯ அவன் எபேசு பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, அங்கே அவர்களைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்து, ஜெப ஆலயத்திற்குச் சென்று, யூதர்களுடனே பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.
And he came to Ephesus and lefte them there: but he him selfe entred into the synagoge and reasoned with the Iewes.
20 ௨0 அவன் இன்னும் கொஞ்சநாட்கள் அவர்களோடு தங்கவேண்டுமென்று அவர்கள் கேட்டுக் கொண்டபோது அவன் சம்மதிக்காமல்,
When they desyred him to tary longer tyme with the he consented not
21 ௨௧ வருகிற பண்டிகையிலே, நான் எப்படியாவது எருசலேமில் இருக்கவேண்டும். தேவனுக்குச் சித்தமானால் திரும்பி உங்களிடம் வருவேன் என்று சொல்லி, அவர்களிடம் விடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டு, கப்பல் ஏறி எபேசுவைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு,
but bad the fare well sayinge. I must nedes at this feast that cometh be in Ierusalem: but I will returne agayne vnto you yf God will. And he departed from Ephesus
22 ௨௨ செசரியா பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்து, எருசலேமுக்குப்போய், சபைமக்களைச் சந்தித்து, அந்தியோகியாவிற்குப் போனான்.
and came vnto Cesarea: and ascended and saluted the congregacion and departed vnto Antioche
23 ௨௩ அங்கே சிலகாலம் தங்கியிருந்தபின்பு, அங்கிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, கலாத்தியா நாட்டிலேயும் பிரிகியா நாட்டிலேயும் சுற்றித்திரிந்து, சீடரெல்லோரையும் உற்சாகப்படுத்தினான்.
and when he had taryed there a whyle he departed. And went over all the countre of Galacia and Phrigia by order strengthynge all the disciples.
24 ௨௪ அப்பொழுது அலெக்சந்திரியா பட்டணத்தில் பிறந்த பேச்சிலே வல்லவனும், வேதாகமங்களில் தேறினவனுமான அப்பொல்லோ என்னும் பெயர்கொண்ட ஒரு யூதன் எபேசு பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்தான்.
And a certayne Iewe named Apollos borne at Alexandria came to Ephesus an eloquent man and myghty in the scriptures.
25 ௨௫ அவன் கர்த்தருடைய வழியிலே போதிக்கப்பட்டு, யோவான் கொடுத்த ஞானஸ்நானத்தைமட்டும் தெரிந்தவனாக இருந்து, ஆவியில் வைராக்கியள்ளவனாகக் கர்த்தருக்குரிய காரியங்களைத் தெளிவாய்ப் போதகம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டுவந்தான்.
The same was informed in the waye of the Lorde and he spake fervently in the sprete and taught diligently the thinges of the Lorde and knewe but the baptim of Iohn only.
26 ௨௬ அவன் ஜெப ஆலயத்தில் தைரியமாகப் பேசினபோது, ஆக்கில்லாவும், பிரிஸ்கில்லாளும் அவன் பேசுகிறதைக் கேட்டு, அவனைத் தங்களோடு சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, தேவனுடைய வழிகளை அதிகத் தெளிவாக அவனுக்கு விளக்கிக் காண்பித்தார்கள்.
And the same began to speake boldely in the synagoge. And when Aquila and Priscilla had hearde him: they toke him vnto them and expounded vnto him the waye of God more perfectly.
27 ௨௭ பின்பு அவன் அகாயா நாட்டிற்குப் போகவேண்டும் என்றபோது, சீடர்கள் அங்கே அவனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்படி சகோதரர்கள் அவர்களுக்கு கடிதம் எழுதினார்கள்.
And when he was disposed to goo into Acaia the brethren wrote exhortynge the disciples to receave him. After he was come thyther he holpe them moche which had beleved thorowe grace.
28 ௨௮ அவன் அகாயா நாட்டிற்கு வந்து வெளிப்படையாக யூதர்களுடனே பலமாக வாதாடி, இயேசுவே கிறிஸ்து என்று வேதவாக்கியங்களைக் கொண்டு விளக்கினபடியால், கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசிகளானவர்களுக்கு மிகவும் உதவியாக இருந்தான்.
And myghtely he overcame the Iewes and that openly shewynge by the scriptures that Iesus was Christ.
