2 சாமுவேல் 22

1 ௧ யெகோவா தாவீதை அவனுடைய எல்லா எதிரிகளின் கைக்கும், சவுலின் கைக்கும், விலக்கி விடுவித்தபோது, அவன் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாகப் பாடின பாட்டு:

And David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, in the day in which the Lord rescued him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul.

2 ௨ “யெகோவா என்னுடைய கன்மலையும், என்னுடைய கோட்டையும், என்னுடைய இரட்சகருமானவர்.

And the song was thus: O Lord, my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer,

3 ௩ தேவன் நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற கன்மலையும், என்னுடைய கேடகமும், என்னுடைய பாதுகாப்பின் கொம்பும், என்னுடைய உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமும், என்னுடைய இருப்பிடமும், என்னுடைய இரட்சகருமானவர்; என்னைத் துன்பத்திற்கு விலக்கி இரட்சிக்கிறவர் அவரே.

my God; he shall be to me my guard, I will trust in him: [he is] my protector, and the horn of my salvation, my helper, and my sure refuge; thou shalt save me from the unjust man.

4 ௪ துதிக்குக் காரணரான யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவேன்; அதனால் என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு விலக்கி இரட்சிக்கப்படுவேன்.

I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, and I shall be saved from my enemies.

5 ௫ மரண அலைகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டு, பயனற்ற வெள்ளப்பெருக்கு என்னைப் பயப்படுத்தினது.

For the troubles of death compassed me, the floods of iniquity amazed me:

6 ௬ பாதாளக் கட்டுகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்து கொண்டது; மரணக்கண்ணிகள் என்மேல் விழுந்தது. (Sheol h7585)

the pangs of death surrounded me, the agonies of death prevented me. (Sheol h7585)

7 ௭ எனக்கு உண்டான நெருக்கத்திலே யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு, என்னுடைய தேவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; தமது ஆலயத்திலிருந்து என்னுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்; என்னுடைய கூப்பிடுதல் அவர் செவிகளில் விழுந்தது.

When I am afflicted I will call upon the Lord, and will cry to my God, and he shall hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry shalt come into his ears.

8 ௮ அப்பொழுது பூமி அசைந்து அதிர்ந்தது; அவர் கோபங்கொண்டதால் வானத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் குலுங்கி அசைந்தது.

And the earth was troubled and quaked, and the foundations of heaven were confounded and torn asunder, because the Lord was wroth with them.

9 ௯ அவர் நாசியிலிருந்து புகை வந்தது, அவர் வாயிலிருந்து ஒளிவீசும் அக்கினி புறப்பட்டது, அதனால் தீப்பற்றிக்கொண்டது.

There went up a smoke in his wrath, and fire out of his mouth devours: coals were kindled at it.

10 ௧0 வானங்களைத் தாழ்த்தி இறங்கினார்; அவர் பாதங்களின்கீழ் காரிருள் இருந்தது.

And he bowed the heavens, and came down, and [there was] darkness under his feet.

11 ௧௧ கேருபீனின்மேல் ஏறி வேகமாகப் பறந்து சென்றார். காற்றின் இறக்கைகளின்மேல் காட்சியளித்தார்.

And he rode upon the cherubs and did fly, and was seen upon the wings of the wind.

12 ௧௨ வானத்து மேகங்களில் கூடிய தண்ணீர்களின் இருளைத் தம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கும் கூடாரமாக்கினார்.

And he made darkness his hiding-place; his tabernacle round about him was the darkness of waters, he condensed it with the clouds of the air.

13 ௧௩ அவருக்கு முன்பாக இருந்த மின்னலினால் நெருப்புத்தழலும் எரிந்தது.

At the brightness before him coals of fire were kindled.

14 ௧௪ யெகோவா வானத்திலிருந்து இடியைப்போல முழங்கி, சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவன் தமது சத்தத்தைத் தொனிக்கச் செய்தார்.

The Lord thundered out of heaven, and the Most High uttered his voice.

15 ௧௫ அவர் அம்புகளை எய்து, அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்து, மின்னல்களை உபயோகித்து, அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார்.

And he sent forth arrows, and scattered them, and he flashed lightning, and dismayed them.

16 ௧௬ யெகோவாவுடைய கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலினாலும், அவருடைய நாசியின் சுவாசக் காற்றினாலும் சமுத்திரத்தின் மதகுகள் திறக்கப்பட்டு, பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் காணப்பட்டது.

And the channels of the sea were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuke of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of his anger.

17 ௧௭ உயரத்திலிருந்து அவர் கை நீட்டி, என்னைப் பிடித்து, வெள்ளப்பெருக்கில் இருக்கிற என்னைத் தூக்கிவிட்டார்.

He sent from above and took me; he drew me out of many waters.

18 ௧௮ என்னைவிட பெலவானாக இருந்த என்னுடைய எதிரிக்கும் என்னுடைய விரோதிகளுக்கும் என்னை விடுவித்தார்.

He delivered me from my strong enemies, from them that hated me, for they were stronger than I.

19 ௧௯ என்னுடைய ஆபத்து நாளிலே எனக்கு எதிராக வந்தார்கள்; யெகோவாவோ எனக்கு ஆதரவாக இருந்தார்.

The days of my affliction prevented me; but the Lord was my stay.

20 ௨0 என்மேல் அவர் பிரியமாக இருந்தபடியால், என்னைத் தப்புவித்தார்.

And he brought me into a wide place, and rescued me, because he delighted in me.

21 ௨௧ யெகோவா என்னுடைய நீதிக்குத்தகுந்தபடி எனக்கு பதில் அளித்தார்; என்னுடைய கைகளின் சுத்தத்திற்குத்தகுந்தபடி எனக்குச் சரிக்கட்டினார்.

And the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness; even according to the purity of my hands did he recompense me.

22 ௨௨ யெகோவாவுடைய வழிகளைக் காத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தேன்; நான் என்னுடைய தேவனுக்குத் துரோகம் செய்ததில்லை.

Because, I kept the ways of the Lord, and did not wickedly depart from my God.

23 ௨௩ அவருடைய நியாயங்களையெல்லாம் எனக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தினேன்; நான் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைவிட்டு விலகாமல்,

For all his judgments and his ordinances [were] before me: I departed not from them.

24 ௨௪ அவருக்கு முன்பாக மன உண்மையாக இருந்து, பாவத்திற்கு என்னை விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்.

And I shall be blameless before him, and will keep myself from my iniquity.

25 ௨௫ ஆகையால் யெகோவா என்னுடைய நீதிக்குத் தகுந்தபடியும், தம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிற என்னுடைய சுத்தத்திற்குத்தகுந்தபடியும் எனக்கு பலனளித்தார்.

And the Lord will recompense me according to my righteousness, and according to the purity of my hands in his eye-sight.

26 ௨௬ தயவுள்ளவனுக்கு நீர் தயவுள்ளவராகவும், உத்தமனுக்கு நீர் உத்தமராகவும்,

With the holy thou wilt be holy, and with the perfect man thou will be perfect,

27 ௨௭ புனிதனுக்கு நீர் புனிதராகவும், மாறுபாடு உள்ளவர்களுக்கு நீர் மாறுபடுகிறவராகவும் தோன்றுவீர்.

and with the excellent thou wilt be excellent, and with the froward thou will be froward.

28 ௨௮ சிறுமைப்பட்ட மக்களை இரட்சிப்பீர்; பெருமையுள்ளவர்களைத் தாழ்த்த, உம்முடைய கண்கள் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகத் திருப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

And thou wilt save the poor people, and wilt bring down the eyes of the haughty.

29 ௨௯ கர்த்தராகிய தேவரீர் என்னுடைய விளக்காக இருக்கிறீர்; யெகோவா என்னுடைய இருளை வெளிச்சமாக்குகிறவர்.

For thou, Lord, [art] my lamp, and the Lord shall shine forth to me in my darkness.

30 ௩0 உம்மாலே நான் ஒரு சேனைக்குள் பாய்ந்துபோவேன்; என்னுடைய தேவனாலே ஒரு மதிலைத் தாண்டுவேன்.

For by thee shall I run [as] a girded man, and by my God shall I leap over a wall.

31 ௩௧ தேவனுடைய வழி உத்தமமானது; யெகோவாவுடைய வசனம் சுத்தமானது; தம்மை நம்புகிற அனைவருக்கும் அவர் கேடகமாக இருக்கிறார்.

As for the Mighty One, his way [is] blameless: the word of the Lord [is] strong [and] tried in the fire: he is a protector to all that put their trust in him.

32 ௩௨ யெகோவாவைத் தவிர தேவன் யார்? நம்முடைய தேவனையன்றி கன்மலையும் யார்?

Who [is] strong, but the Lord? and who will be a Creator except our God?

33 ௩௩ தேவன் எனக்குப் பெலத்த அரணானவர்; அவர் என்னுடைய வழியைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துகிறவர்.

[It is] the Mighty One who strengthens me with might, and has prepared my way without fault.

34 ௩௪ அவர் என்னுடைய கால்களை மான்களுடைய கால்களைப்போல மாற்றி, உயர்ந்த மலைகளில் என்னை நிறுத்துகிறார்.

He makes my feet like hart's feet, and sets me upon the high places.

35 ௩௫ வெண்கல வில்லும் என்னுடைய கரங்களால் வளையும்படி, என்னுடைய கைகளை யுத்தத்திற்குப்.

He teaches my hands to war, and has broken a brazen bow by my arm.

36 ௩௬ உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின் கேடகத்தையும் எனக்குத் தந்தீர்; உம்முடைய தயவு என்னைப் பெரியவனாக்கும்.

And thou hast given me the shield of my salvation, and thy propitious dealing has increased me,

37 ௩௭ என்னுடைய கால்கள் வழுக்காதபடி நான் நடக்கிற வழியை அகலமாக்கினீர்.

so as to make room under me for my going, and my legs did not totter.

38 ௩௮ என்னுடைய எதிரிகளைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து அவர்களை அழிப்பேன்; அவர்களை அழிக்கும்வரைக்கும் திரும்பமாட்டேன்.

I will pursue my enemies, and will utterly destroy them; and I will not turn again till I have consumed them.

39 ௩௯ அவர்கள் எழுந்திருக்கமுடியாதபடி என்னுடைய பாதங்களின்கீழ் விழுந்தார்கள்; அவர்களை முறியடித்து வெட்டினேன்.

And I will crush them, and they shall not rise; and they shall fall under my feet.

40 ௪0 யுத்தத்திற்கு நீர் என்னை பெலத்தால் இடைகட்டி, என்மேல் எழும்பினவர்களை என்கீழ் விழும்படிச் செய்தீர்.

And thou shalt strengthen me with power for the war; thou shalt cause them that rise up against me to bow down under me.

41 ௪௧ நான் என்னுடைய விரோதியை அழிக்கும்படி, என்னுடைய எதிரிகளின் பிடரியை எனக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தீர்.

And thou hast caused mine enemies to flee before me, even them that hated me, and thou hast slain them.

42 ௪௨ அவர்கள் நோக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார்கள், அவர்களை இரட்சிப்பவர்கள் ஒருவருமில்லை; யெகோவாவை நோக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார்கள், அவர்களுக்கு அவர் பதில் கொடுக்கிறதில்லை.

They shall cry, and there shall be no helper; to the Lord, but he hearkens not to them.

43 ௪௩ அவர்களை பூமியின் தூளாக இடித்து, தெருக்களின் சேற்றைப்போல அவர்களை மிதித்து சிதறச்செய்கிறேன்.

And I ground them as the dust of the earth, I beat them small as the mire of the streets.

44 ௪௪ என்னுடைய மக்களின் சண்டைகளுக்கு நீர் என்னை விலக்கிவிட்டு, தேசங்களுக்கு என்னைத் தலைவனாக வைக்கிறீர்; நான் அறியாத மக்கள் என்னைப் பணிகிறார்கள்.

And thou shalt deliver me from the striving of the peoples, thou shalt keep me [to be] the head of the Gentiles: a people which I knew not served me.

45 ௪௫ அந்நியர்கள் எனக்கு எதிராகப் பேசி அடங்கி, என்னுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டவுடனே எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறார்கள்.

The strange children feigned [obedience] to me; they hearkened to me as soon as they heard.

46 ௪௬ அந்நியர்கள் பயந்துபோய், தங்கள் கோட்டைகளிலிருந்து பயத்தோடு புறப்படுகிறார்கள்.

The strange children shall be cast away, and shall be overthrown out of their hiding places.

47 ௪௭ யெகோவா ஜீவனுள்ளவர்; என்னுடைய கன்மலையானவர் ஸ்தோத்தரிக்கப்படுவாராக; என்னுடைய இரட்சிப்பின் கன்மலையான தேவன் உயர்ந்திருப்பாராக.

The Lord lives, and blessed [be] my guardian, and my God, my strong keeper, shall be exalted.

48 ௪௮ அவர் எனக்காகப் பழிக்குப் பழி வாங்கி, மக்களை எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துகிற தேவனானவர்.

The Lord who avenges me [is] strong, chastening the nations under me,

49 ௪௯ அவரே என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு என்னை விலக்கி விடுவிக்கிறவர்; எனக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்புகிறவர்கள்மேல் என்னை உயர்த்திக் கொடுமையான மனிதனுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவிக்கிறீர்.

and bringing me out from my enemies: and thou shalt set me on high from among those that rise up against me: thou shalt deliver me from the violent man.

50 ௫0 இதனால் யெகோவாவே, தேசங்களுக்குள் உம்மைத் துதித்து, உம்முடைய நாமத்திற்கு துதிப் பாடல்கள் பாடுவேன்.

Therefore will I confess to thee, O Lord, among the Gentiles, and sing to thy name.

51 ௫௧ தாம் ஏற்படுத்தின ராஜாவுக்கு மகத்தான இரட்சிப்பை அளித்து, தாம் அபிஷேகம்செய்த தாவீதுக்கும் அவனுடைய சந்ததிக்கும் என்றென்றும் கிருபை செய்கிறார்.”

He magnifies the salvation of his king, and works mercy for his anointed, even for David and for his seed for ever.
