2 இராஜாக்கள் 21
1 ௧ மனாசே ராஜாவாகிறபோது பன்னிரண்டு வயதாயிருந்து, ஐம்பத்தைந்து வருடங்கள் எருசலேமில் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்; அவனுடைய தாயின் பெயர் எப்சிபாள்.
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Hephzibah.
2 ௨ யெகோவா இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்தின மக்களுடைய அருவருப்புகளின்படியே, அவன் யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து,
He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the nations whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
3 ௩ தன் தகப்பனாகிய எசேக்கியா இடித்துப்போட்ட மேடைகளைத் திரும்பவும் கட்டி, பாகாலுக்குப் பலிபீடங்களை எடுப்பித்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆகாப் செய்ததுபோல விக்கிரகத்தோப்பை உண்டாக்கி, வானத்தின் சேனைகளையெல்லாம் பணிந்துகொண்டு அவைகளை வணங்கினான்.
For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made an Asherah, as did Ahab king of Israel, and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 ௪ எருசலேமிலே என் நாமத்தை விளங்கச்செய்வேன் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லிக் குறித்த யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திலே அவன் பலிபீடங்களைக் கட்டி,
He built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, "I will put my name in Jerusalem."
He built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
6 ௬ தன் மகனைப் பலியாக அக்கினியில் சுட்டெரித்து, நாள் நட்சத்திரம் பார்க்கிறவனுமாயிருந்து, ஜோதிடம் பார்க்கிறவர்களையும் குறிசொல்லுகிறவர்களையும் வைத்து, யெகோவாவுக்குக் கோபமுண்டாக அவர் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதை மிகுதியாகச் செய்தான்.
He made his son to pass through the fire, and practiced sorcery, and practiced divination, and consulted mediums, and spiritists: he worked much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
7 ௭ இந்த ஆலயத்திலும், நான் இஸ்ரவேலின் சகல கோத்திரங்களிலுமிருந்து தெரிந்துகொண்ட எருசலேமிலும், என் பெயரை என்றைக்கும் விளங்கச் செய்வேன் என்று யெகோவ தாவீதோடும் அவனுடைய மகனாகிய சாலொமோனோடும் சொல்லி குறித்த ஆலயத்திலே அவன் செய்த தோப்புவிக்கிரகத்தை வைத்தான்.
He set the engraved image of Asherah, that he had made, in the house of which the LORD said to David and to Solomon his son, "In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name forever;
8 ௮ நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்த எல்லாவற்றின்படியேயும், என் தாசனாகிய மோசே அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்த எல்லா நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின்படியேயும் செய்ய ஜாக்கிரதையாக இருந்தார்களேயானால், நான் இனி இஸ்ரவேலின் காலை அவர்களுடைய முன்னோர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தை விட்டு அலையச் செய்வதில்லை என்று சொல்லியிருந்தார்.
neither will I cause the feet of Israel to wander any more out of the land which I gave their fathers, if only they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them."
9 ௯ ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் கேட்காமல்போனார்கள்; யெகோவ இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு முன்பாக அழித்த மக்கள் செய்த பொல்லாப்பைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாகச் செய்ய மனாசே அவர்களைத் தூண்டிவிட்டான்.
But they did not listen: and Manasseh seduced them to do that which is evil more than the nations did whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
The LORD spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,
11 ௧௧ யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய மனாசே தனக்கு முன்னிருந்த எமோரியர்கள் செய்த எல்லாவற்றைப்பார்க்கிலும் கேடாக இந்த அருவருப்புகளைச் செய்து, தன் அருவருப்பான சிலைகளால் யூதாவையும் பாவம் செய்யவைத்ததால்,
"Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, and has done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and has made Judah also to sin with his idols;
12 ௧௨ இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவ சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, கேட்கப்போகிற யாவருடைய இரண்டு காதுகளிலும் அது தொனித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும்படியான பொல்லாப்பை நான் எருசலேமின்மேலும், யூதாவின்மேலும் வரச்செய்து,
therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'Look, I bring such disaster on Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, both his ears shall tingle.
13 ௧௩ எருசலேமின்மேல் சமாரியாவின் மட்டநூலையும் ஆகாப் வீட்டின் தூக்கு நூலையும் பிடிப்பேன்; ஒருவன் ஒரு தட்டைத் துடைத்து, பின்பு அதைக் கவிழ்த்துவைக்கிறதுபோல எருசலேமைத் துடைத்துவிடுவேன்.
I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab; and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.
14 ௧௪ அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய முன்னோர்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட நாள்முதற்கொண்டு இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் என் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, என்னைக் கோபப்படுத்தி வந்ததால், என் சுதந்தரத்தில் மீதியானதைக் கைவிட்டு, அவர்கள் எதிரிகளின் கையில் அவர்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்.
I will cast off the remnant of my inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies. They will become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
because they have done that which is evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even to this day.'"
16 ௧௬ யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்யும்படியாக, மனாசே யூதாவைப் பாவம்செய்யவைத்த அந்தப் பாவமும் தவிர, அவன் எருசலேமை நான்கு மூலைகள்வரையும் இரத்தப்பழிகளால் நிரப்பத்தக்கதாக, குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தையும் மிகுதியாகச் சிந்தினான்.
Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, until he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; besides his sin with which he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
17 ௧௭ மனாசேயின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், அவன் செய்த பாவமும் யூதாவுடைய ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
18 ௧௮ மனாசே இறந்தபின், அவன் ஊசாவின் தோட்டமாகிய தன் அரண்மனைத் தோட்டத்தில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டான்; அவனுடைய இடத்தில் அவன் மகனாகிய ஆமோன் ராஜாவானான்.
Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his place.
19 ௧௯ ஆமோன் ராஜாவானபோது இருபத்திரண்டு வயதாயிருந்து, இரண்டு வருடங்கள் எருசலேமில் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்; யோத்பா ஊரானாகிய ஆரூத்சின் மகளான அவனுடைய தாயின் பெயர் மெசுல்லேமேத்.
Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign; and he reigned two years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Meshullemeth the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as Manasseh his father did.
21 ௨௧ தன் தகப்பன் நடந்த எல்லா வழியிலும் நடந்து, தன் தகப்பன் சேவித்த அருவருப்பான சிலைகளை வணங்கி அவைகளைப் பணிந்துகொண்டு,
He walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshiped them:
and he forsook the LORD, the God of his fathers, and did not walk in the way of the LORD.
23 ௨௩ ஆமோனின் ஊழியக்காரர்கள் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக சதித்திட்டம் தீட்டி, ராஜாவை அவன் அரண்மனையிலே கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள்.
The servants of Amon conspired against him, and put the king to death in his own house.
24 ௨௪ அதினால் தேசத்து மக்கள் ராஜாவாகிய ஆமோனுக்கு விரோதமாக சதித்திட்டம் தீட்டியவர்களையெல்லாம் வெட்டிப்போட்டு, அவன் மகனாகிய யோசியாவை அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவாக்கினார்கள்.
But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.
25 ௨௫ ஆமோன் செய்த மற்ற செயல்பாடுகள் யூதாவுடைய ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
26 ௨௬ அவன் ஊசாவின் தோட்டத்திலுள்ள அவனுடைய கல்லறையில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டான்; அவன் இடத்திலே அவனுடைய மகனாகிய யோசியா ராஜாவானான்.
He was buried in his tomb in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his place.
