1 ௧ இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் இருபத்தேழாம் வருட ஆட்சியில், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அமத்சியாவின் மகன் அசரியா ராஜாவானான்.
In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah began to reign.
2 ௨ அவன் ராஜாவாகிறபோது பதினாறு வயதாயிருந்து, ஐம்பத்திரண்டு வருடங்கள் எருசலேமிலே ஆட்சிசெய்தான்; எருசலேம் நகரத்தைச் சேர்ந்த அவனுடைய தாயின் பெயர் எக்கோலியாள்.
He was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
4 ௪ மேடைகள் மாத்திரம் அகற்றப்படவில்லை; மக்கள் இன்னும் மேடைகள்மேல் பலியிட்டுத் தூபம் காட்டிவந்தார்கள்.
However, the high places were not taken away. The people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places.
5 ௫ யெகோவா இந்த ராஜாவை வாதித்ததால், அவன் தன் மரணநாள்வரை தொழுநோயாளியாக இருந்து, தனித்து ஒரு வீட்டிலே குடியிருந்தான்; ராஜாவின் மகனாகிய யோதாம் அரண்மனை விசாரிப்புக்காரனாயிருந்து, தேசத்தின் மக்களை நியாயம் விசாரித்தான்.
The LORD struck the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house. Jotham, the king’s son, was over the household, judging the people of the land.
6 ௬ அசரியாவின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், யூதாவுடைய ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

7 ௭ அசரியா இறந்தபின், அவனைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலே அவனுடைய முன்னோர்களுக்கு அருகில் அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; அவன் மகனாகிய யோதாம் அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in David’s city; and Jotham his son reigned in his place.
8 ௮ யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அசரியாவின் முப்பத்தெட்டாம் வருட ஆட்சியில் யெரொபெயாமின் மகனாகிய சகரியா இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் சமாரியாவிலே ஆறு மாதங்கள் ஆட்சிசெய்து,
In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months.
9 ௯ தன் முன்னோர்கள் செய்ததுபோல, யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்; இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவம்செய்யவைத்த நேபாத்தின் மகனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் பாவங்களைவிட்டு அவன் விலகவில்லை.
He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight, as his fathers had done. He did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
10 ௧0 யாபேசின் மகனாகிய சல்லூம் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக சதித்திட்டம் தீட்டி, மக்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவனை வெட்டிக் கொன்றுபோட்டு, அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and struck him before the people and killed him, and reigned in his place.
Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
12 ௧௨ உன் மகன்கள் நான்காம் தலைமுறைவரை இஸ்ரவேலுடைய சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருப்பார்கள் என்று யெகோவா யெகூவோடே சொன்ன வார்த்தை இதுதான்; அப்படியே நிறைவேறியது.
This was the LORD’s word which he spoke to Jehu, saying, “Your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.” So it came to pass.
13 ௧௩ யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய உசியாவின் முப்பத்தொன்பதாம் வருட ஆட்சியில் யாபேசின் மகனாகிய சல்லூம் ராஜாவாகி, சமாரியாவில் ஒரு மாதம் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்.
Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigned for a month in Samaria.
14 ௧௪ காதியின் மகனாகிய மெனாகேம் திர்சாவிலிருந்து சமாரியாவுக்கு வந்து, யாபேசின் மகனாகிய சல்லூமை சமாரியாவிலே வெட்டிக் கொன்றுபோட்டு, அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, came to Samaria, struck Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, killed him, and reigned in his place.
15 ௧௫ சல்லூமின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த சதித்திட்டமும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
Now the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
16 ௧௬ அப்பொழுது மெனாகேம் திப்சா பட்டணத்தையும், அதிலுள்ள யாவையும், திர்சா தொடங்கி அதின் எல்லைகளையும் தாக்கினான்; அவர்கள் தனக்கு வாசலைத் திறக்கவில்லையென்று அவர்களை வெட்டி, அவர்களுடைய கர்ப்பவதிகளின் கர்ப்பங்களையெல்லாம் கிழித்துப்போட்டான்.
Then Menahem attacked Tiphsah and all who were in it and its border areas, from Tirzah. He attacked it because they did not open their gates to him, and he ripped up all their women who were with child.
17 ௧௭ யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அசரியாவின் முப்பத்தொன்பதாம் ஆளுகை வருடத்தில், காதியின் மகனாகிய மெனாகேம் இஸ்ரவேல்மேல் ராஜாவாகி சமாரியாவிலே பத்துவருடங்கள் அரசாட்சிசெய்து, அவன் தன் நாட்களிலெல்லாம் யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்.
In the thirty ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel for ten years in Samaria.
He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight. He did not depart all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
19 ௧௯ அசீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய பூல், தேசத்திற்கு விரோதமாக வந்தான்; அப்பொழுது மெனாகேம் பூலின் உதவியினால் அரசாட்சியை தன் கையில் பலப்படுத்துவதற்காக, அவனுக்கு ஆயிரம் தாலந்து வெள்ளி கொடுத்தான்.
Pul the king of Assyria came against the land, and Menahem gave Pul one thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
20 ௨0 இந்தப் பணத்தை அசீரியாவின் ராஜாவிற்குக் கொடுக்கும்படி, மெனாகேம் இஸ்ரவேலில் பலத்த ஐசுவரியவான்களிடத்தில் ஆள் ஒன்றிற்கு ஐம்பது வெள்ளிச் சேக்கல் சுமத்தினான்; அப்படியே அசீரியாவின் ராஜா தேசத்திலே நிற்காமல் திரும்பிப்போனான்.
Menahem exacted the money from Israel, even from all the mighty men of wealth, from each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and did not stay there in the land.
21 ௨௧ மெனாகேமின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

Menahem slept with his fathers, and Pekahiah his son reigned in his place.
23 ௨௩ யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அசரியாவின் ஐம்பதாம் வருட ஆட்சியில், மெனாகேமின் மகனாகிய பெக்காகியா இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவாகி சமாரியாவிலே இரண்டுவருடங்கள் அரசாட்சிசெய்து,
In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria for two years.
24 ௨௪ யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்; அவன் இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவம்செய்யவைத்த நேபாத்தின் மகனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் பாவங்களைவிட்டு விலகவில்லை.
He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight. He did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
25 ௨௫ ஆனாலும் ரெமலியாவின் மகனாகிய பெக்கா என்னும் அவனுடைய அதிகாரி அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக சதித்திட்டம் தீட்டி, கீலேயாத் மனிதர்களில் ஐம்பதுபேரைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, அவனையும் அர்கோபையும் ஆரியேயையும் ராஜாவின் வீடாகிய அரண்மனையிலே சமாரியாவில் வெட்டிக் கொன்றுபோட்டு, அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
Pekah the son of Remaliah, his captain, conspired against him and attacked him in Samaria, in the fortress of the king’s house, with Argob and Arieh; and with him were fifty men of the Gileadites. He killed him, and reigned in his place.
26 ௨௬ பெக்காகியாவின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

27 ௨௭ யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அசரியாவின் ஐம்பத்திரண்டாம் வருட, ரெமலியாவின் மகனாகிய பெக்கா இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவாகி சமாரியாவிலே இருபதுவருடங்கள் அரசாட்சிசெய்து,
In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria for twenty years.
28 ௨௮ யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்; இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவம்செய்யவைத்த நேபாத்தின் மகனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் பாவங்களைவிட்டு அவன் விலகவில்லை.
He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight. He did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
29 ௨௯ இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய பெக்காவின் நாட்களில் அசீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய திகிலாத்பிலேசர் வந்து, ஈயோனையும், பெத்மாக்கா என்னும் ஆபேலையும், யனோவாகையும், கேதேசையும், ஆத்சோரையும், கீலேயாத்தையும், கலிலேயாவாகிய நப்தலி தேசமனைத்தையும் பிடித்து, குடிமக்களைச் சிறையாக அசீரியாவுக்குக் கொண்டுபோனான்.
In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath Pileser king of Assyria came and took Ijon, Abel Beth Maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali; and he carried them captive to Assyria.
30 ௩0 ஏலாவின் மகனாகிய ஓசெயா ரெமலியாவின் மகனாகிய பெக்காவுக்கு விரோதமாக சதித்திட்டம் தீட்டி, அவனை உசியாவின் மகனாகிய யோதாமின் இருபதாம் வருடத்தில் வெட்டிக்கொன்றுபோட்டு, அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, attacked him, killed him, and reigned in his place, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
31 ௩௧ பெக்காவின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

32 ௩௨ இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய ரெமலியாவின் மகன் பெக்காவின் இரண்டாம் வருட ஆட்சியில், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய உசியாவின் மகன் யோதாம் ராஜாவானான்.
In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel, Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah began to reign.
33 ௩௩ அவன் ராஜாவாகிறபோது, இருபத்தைந்து வயதாயிருந்து, எருசலேமிலே பதினாறுவருடங்கள் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்; சாதோக்கின் மகளாகிய அவனுடைய தாயின் பெயர் எருசாள்.
He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jerusha the daughter of Zadok.
34 ௩௪ அவன் யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதைச் செய்தான்; தன் தகப்பனாகிய உசியா செய்தபடியெல்லாம் செய்தான்.
He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes. He did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
35 ௩௫ மேடைகள் மாத்திரம் அகற்றப்படவில்லை; மக்கள் இன்னும் மேடைகளின்மேல் பலியிட்டுத் தூபம் காட்டிவந்தார்கள்; இவன் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தின் உயர்ந்த வாசலைக் கட்டினான்.

36 ௩௬ யோதாமின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், யூதாவுடைய ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

37 ௩௭ அந்நாட்களிலே யெகோவா சீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ரேத்சீனையும், ரெமலியாவின் மகனாகிய பெக்காவையும் யூதாவுக்கு விரோதமாக அனுப்பத்தொடங்கினார்.
In those days, the LORD began to send Rezin the king of Syria and Pekah the son of Remaliah against Judah.
38 ௩௮ யோதாம் இறந்தபின். தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் பட்டணத்திலே தன் முன்னோர்களுக்கு அருகில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டான்; அவனுடைய மகனாகிய ஆகாஸ் அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in his father David’s city; and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
