2 கொரிந்தியர் 9

1 ௧ பரிசுத்தவான்களின் ஊழியத்திற்கு செய்யவேண்டிய உதவிகளைக்குறித்து, நான் அதிகமாக உங்களுக்கு எழுதவேண்டியதில்லை.

It is indeed unnecessary for me to write to you concerning the service to the saints,

2 ௨ உங்களுடைய மனவிருப்பத்தை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; அகாயாவில் உள்ளவர்கள் ஒருவருடமாக ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கிறார்கள் என்று, நான் மக்கெதோனியரிடம் சொல்லி, உங்களைப் புகழ்ந்தேனே; உங்களுடைய வாஞ்சை அநேகரை செயலில் ஈடுபடவைத்தது.

for I know your readiness, of which I boast on your behalf to them of Macedonia, that Achaia has been prepared for a year past. Your zeal has stirred up very many of them.

3 ௩ அப்படியிருந்தும், உங்களைக்குறித்து நாங்கள் சொன்ன புகழ்ச்சி இந்தக் காரியத்தில் வீணாகப்போகாமல், நான் சொன்னபடி நீங்கள் ஆயத்தப்பட்டவர்களாக இருப்பதற்கு, இந்தச் சகோதரர்களை அனுப்பினேன்.

But I have sent the brothers that our boasting on your behalf may not be in vain in this respect, that, just as I said, you may be prepared,

4 ௪ மக்கெதோனியர்கள் என்னோடு வந்து, நீங்கள் ஆயத்தப்படாதவர்களாக இருப்பதைப் பார்த்தால், இவ்வளவு உறுதியாக உங்களைப் புகழ்ந்ததற்காக, நீங்கள் வெட்கப்படுவீர்கள் என்று நாங்கள் சொல்லாமல், நாங்களே வெட்கப்படவேண்டியதாக இருக்கும்.

so that I won't by any means, if there come with me any of Macedonia and find you unprepared, we (to say nothing of you) should be disappointed in this confidence.

5 ௫ ஆகவே, வாக்குறுதிபண்ணப்பட்டிருக்கிற உங்களுடைய தர்ம உதவியானது கட்டாயப்படுத்திக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டதாக இல்லாமல், தாராளமாகக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டதாக இருப்பதற்காக அதை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துகிறதற்குச் சகோதரர்களை முதலில் உங்களிடம் அனுப்புவது அவசியம் என்று எனக்குத் தோன்றியது.

I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brothers that they would go before to you, and arrange ahead of time the generous gift that you promised before, that the same might be ready as a matter of generosity, and not of greediness.

6 ௬ பின்னும் நான் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், கொஞ்சம் விதைக்கிறவன் கொஞ்சம் அறுப்பான், அதிகமாக விதைக்கிறவன் அதிகமாக அறுப்பான்.

Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

7 ௭ அவனவன் வருத்தத்தோடும் அல்ல, கட்டாயமாகவும் அல்ல, தன் மனதில் திட்டமிட்டபடியே கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; உற்சாகமாகக் கொடுக்கிறவனிடம் தேவன் பிரியமாக இருக்கிறார்.

Each person should give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.

8 ௮ மேலும், நீங்கள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் எப்பொழுதும் சம்பூரணமுடையவர்களாகவும், எல்லாவித நல்ல செயல்களிலும் பெருகுகிறவர்களாகவும் இருப்பதற்காக, தேவன் உங்களில் எல்லாவிதமான கிருபையையும் பெருகச்செய்ய வல்லவராக இருக்கிறார்.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.

9 ௯ வாரி இறைத்தான், ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுத்தான், அவனுடைய நீதி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கும் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடியே ஆகும். (aiōn g165)

As it is written, "He has scattered, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever." (aiōn g165)

10 ௧0 விதைக்கிறவனுக்கு விதையையும், சாப்பிடுகிறதற்கு ஆகாரத்தையும் கொடுக்கிறவர் உங்களுக்கு விதையைக் கொடுத்து, அதைப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, உங்களுடைய நீதியின் விளைச்சலைப் பெருகச்செய்வார்.

Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, will supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;

11 ௧௧ நீங்கள் எல்லா வகையிலும் செல்வந்தராகி தாராளகுணத்திலே சம்பூரணமுள்ளவர்களாவீர்கள். இதனால் தேவனுக்கு எங்கள் மூலமாக ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாகும்.

you being enriched in everything to all liberality, which works through us thanksgiving to God.

12 ௧௨ இந்த தர்ம உதவியாகிய பணிவிடை பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய குறைவுகளை நீக்குகிறதுமட்டுமல்லாமல், அநேகர் தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பதினாலே சம்பூரண பலன் உள்ளதாகவும் இருக்கும்.

For this service of giving that you perform not only makes up for lack among the saints, but abounds also through many thanksgivings to God;

13 ௧௩ அவர்கள் இந்த தர்ம உதவிகளாகிய நன்மையை அனுபவித்து, நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவின் நற்செய்தியைக் கீழ்ப்படிதலோடு அறிக்கையிட்டதினால், தங்களுக்கும் மற்ற அனைவருக்கும் நீங்கள் தாராளமாக தர்ம உதவிகள் செய்கிறதினாலும், அவர்கள் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தி;

seeing that through the proof given by this service, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Messiah, and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all;

14 ௧௪ உங்களுக்காக வேண்டுதல்செய்து, தேவன் உங்களுக்கு அளித்த மிகவும் விசேஷித்த கிருபையினால் உங்கள்மேல் வாஞ்சையாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

while they themselves also, with petition on your behalf, yearn for you by reason of the exceeding grace of God in you.

15 ௧௫ தேவன் அருளிய சொல்லிமுடியாத ஈவுக்காக அவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்.

Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift.
