2 கொரிந்தியர் 12
1 ௧ மேன்மைபாராட்டுகிறது எனக்குத் தகுதியானது இல்லையே; ஆனாலும், கர்த்தர் அருளிய தரிசனங்களையும் வெளிப்படுத்தல்களையும் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2 ௨ கிறிஸ்துவிற்குள்ளான ஒரு மனிதனை அறிவேன்; அவன் பதினான்கு வருடத்திற்கு முன்பே மூன்றாம் வானம்வரைக்கும் எடுக்கப்பட்டான்; அவன் சரீரத்தில் இருந்தானோ அல்லது சரீரத்திற்கு வெளியே இருந்தானோ, அதை நான் அறியேன்; தேவன் அறிவார்.
I knew a man in Christ fourteen years ago, ( whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth; ) such one caught up to the third heaven.
3 ௩ அந்த மனிதன் பரதீசுக்குள் எடுக்கப்பட்டு, மனிதன் பேசப்படாததும் வாக்குக்கெட்டாததுமான வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டான் என்று அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.
And I knew such a man, ( whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth; )
4 ௪ அவன் சரீரத்தில் இருந்தானோ அல்லது சரீரத்திற்கு வெளியே இருந்தானோ, அதை நான் அறியேன்; தேவன் அறிவார்.
How he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
5 ௫ இப்படிப்பட்டவனைக்குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டுவேன்; ஆனாலும் என்னைக்குறித்து என் பலவீனங்களைத்தவிர, வேறொன்றிலும் மேன்மைபாராட்டமாட்டேன்.
Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in my infirmities.
6 ௬ சத்தியமானதை நான் பேசுகிறேன்; நான் மேன்மைபாராட்ட விரும்பினாலும், நான் புத்தியீனன் இல்லை, ஆனாலும் ஒருவனும் என்னிடம் பார்த்ததற்கும், கேட்டதற்கும் மேலாக என்னை நினைக்காமலிருக்க நான் அப்படிச் செய்யாதிருப்பேன்.
For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or what he heareth from me.
7 ௭ அன்றியும், எனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டவைகளுக்குரிய மேன்மையினால் நான் என்னை உயர்த்தாமல் இருக்க, என் சரீரத்திலே ஒரு முள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; நான் என்னை உயர்த்தாமல் இருக்க, அது என்னைக் குத்தும் சாத்தானுடைய தூதனாக இருக்கிறது.
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
For this thing I besought the Lord three times, that it might depart from me.
9 ௯ அதற்கு அவர்: என் கிருபை உனக்குப் போதும்; உன் பலவீனத்திலே என் பலம் பூரணமாக இருக்கும் என்றார். எனவே, கிறிஸ்துவின் வல்லமை என்மேல் தங்கும்படி, என் பலவீனங்களைக்குறித்து நான் மிகவும் சந்தோஷமாக மேன்மைபாராட்டுவேன்.
And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 ௧0 அப்படியே நான் பலவீனமாக இருக்கும்போதே பலமுள்ளவனாக இருக்கிறேன்; எனவே கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக எனக்கு வரும் பலவீனங்களிலும், நிந்தைகளிலும், நெருக்கங்களிலும், துன்பங்களிலும், இடுக்கண்களிலும் நான் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
11 ௧௧ மேன்மைபாராட்டி, புத்தியீனன் ஆனேன்; நீங்களே இதற்கு என்னைக் கட்டாயப்படுத்தினீர்கள். நான் ஒன்றுமில்லை என்றாலும், பிரதான அப்போஸ்தலர்களுக்கும் நான் சிறிதளவும் குறைந்தவனாக இல்லாதபடியால், உங்களாலே பாராட்டப்பட வேண்டியதாக இருந்ததே.
I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended by you: for in nothing am I behind the very greatest apostles, though I am nothing.
12 ௧௨ அப்போஸ்தலனுக்குரிய அடையாளங்கள் எல்லாவிதமான பொறுமையோடும், அதிசயங்களோடும், அற்புதங்களோடும், வல்லமைகளோடும், உங்களுக்குள்ளே நடத்தப்பட்டதே.
Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.
13 ௧௩ எதிலே மற்றச் சபைகளுக்குக் குறைவாக இருந்தீர்கள்? நான் உங்களை வருத்தப்படுத்தாமல் இருந்ததே உங்களுக்குக் குறைவு; இந்த அநியாயத்திற்காக என்னை மன்னியுங்கள்.
For what is it in which ye were inferior to other churches, except that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.
14 ௧௪ இதோ, உங்களிடம் மூன்றாவது முறையும் வருவதற்கு ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கிறேன்; நான் உங்களை வருத்தப்படுத்துவது இல்லை; நான் உங்களுடையவைகளை அல்ல, உங்களையே தேடுகிறேன்; பெற்றோருக்குக் குழந்தைகள் இல்லை, குழந்தைகளுக்குப் பெற்றோர்களே பொக்கிஷங்களைச் சேர்த்துவைக்கவேண்டும்.
Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
15 ௧௫ எனவே, நான் உங்களை எவ்வளவு அதிகமாக நேசிக்கிறேனோ அவ்வளவு குறைவாக உங்களால் நான் நேசிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தாலும், மிகவும் சந்தோஷமாக நான் உங்களுடைய ஆத்துமாக்களுக்காகச் செலவுபண்ணவும் செலவுபண்ணப்படவும் விரும்புகிறேன்.
And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.
16 ௧௬ அப்படியே ஆகட்டும், நான் உங்களுக்குச் சுமையாக இருக்கவில்லை; ஆனாலும், உதவி செய்கிறவனாக இருந்து, தந்திரத்தினாலே உங்களைப் பிடித்தேனாம்.
But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.
Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent to you?
18 ௧௮ தீத்து உங்களிடம் வரும்படி நான் அவனைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டு, அவனோடுகூட ஒரு சகோதரனை அனுப்பினேன்; தீத்து உங்களிடம் ஏதாவது நன்மையைத் தேடினானா? நாங்கள் ஒரே ஆவியை உடையவர்களாக, ஒரே அடிச்சுவடுகளில் நடந்தோம் அல்லவா?
I urged Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps?
19 ௧௯ நாங்கள் யோக்கியமானவர்கள் என்று தெரியும்படி உங்களிடம் பேசுகிறோம் என்று நினைக்கிறீர்களோ? தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கிறிஸ்துவிற்குள் பேசுகிறோம். பிரியமானவர்களே, எல்லாவற்றையும் உங்களுடைய பக்திவளர்ச்சிக்காகச் செய்கிறோம்.
Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves to you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edification.
20 ௨0 ஆனாலும் நான் வந்து, உங்களை என் மனவிருப்பத்தின்படி இருக்கிறவர்களாகப் பார்க்காமலும், நானும் உங்களுடைய மனவிருப்பத்தின்படி இருக்கிறவனாகப் பார்க்கப்படாமல் இருப்பேனோ என்றும்; விரோதங்கள், வைராக்கியங்கள், கோபங்கள், வாக்குவாதங்கள், புறங்கூறுதல், கோள் சொல்லுதல், இறுமாப்பு, கலகங்கள் ஆகிய இவைகள் உங்களுக்குள்ளே உண்டாயிருக்குமோ என்றும்;
For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found by you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults:
21 ௨௧ மீண்டும் நான் வருகிறபோது, என் தேவன் உங்களிடம் என்னைத் தாழ்த்தும்படிக்கு முன்பு பாவம் செய்தவர்களாகிய அநேகர் தாங்கள் செய்த அசுத்தத்தையும் வேசித்தனத்தையும் காமவிகாரத்தையும்விட்டு மனம்திரும்பாமல் இருக்கிறதைக்குறித்து, நான் துக்கப்படவேண்டியதாக இருக்குமோ என்றும் பயந்திருக்கிறேன்.
And lest, when I come again, my God may humble me among you, and I shall bewail many who have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and immorality and lasciviousness which they have committed.
